They will block you out if they suspect fraud. For example, if you made photocopies of the coupons they track it when they are used and will cut you off from getting them at all.
This snow made me loose $15 in catalinas. I was going to use my last 3 $5 Nestle coupons today, but unfortunately we got 8 inches of snow (so far) and I wasn’t able to go to shop rite. Catalinas expire today so $15 went in the garbage. I hate this snow!!!
A couple months ago I took my expired catalinas into the store after the hurricane and they took them. I went to customer service first and asked and she stamped the coupon.

Did you try the manager? I had a similar issue with pathmark about a year ago – bad storm and had an $8 catalina. I asked (it was a day later) and was told no problem.
Me thinks with a little creativity, and a duplicate receipt printed out from customer service at SR, you can do a deal with both J&J ($10) and Kimberly Clark($20) having 2 receipts to do both rebates, use $5/1 Q for Cars 2 and come out w/ a free (or close to it) Cars 2 Combo pack .
This along with the $5 CAT & $8 CAT!!!!!!!

I am getting ready for SR and I had my Final touch Q ready and I felt it’s somewhat awkward having a laundry item with the food item deal, so I checked the circular again.
There’s a coupon in the new P&G for Oral-B Floss. I used it at the Shop Rite and got floss for $0.09. There’s also a coupon in the SmartSource insert for $3.00 off two Aveeno products. Was able to get the Moisturizing Bar for $0.99. Also, keep a look out in the baby aisle. The 60ct wipes with container are on sale for $1.89. If you have any of the Pampers coupons that are for $0.50 off of one container 60ct or more, you can get these for $0.89 each. Not sure how good these deals are elsewhere, but here in South Jersey they were the best I’d seen in a while so I thought I’d share the info in case anyone needs it. Have a blessed day!

The coupon I printed from facebook says “Off any 2 Birds Eye OR Birds Eye Steamfresh varieties.” I don’t see why it wouldn’t work on the boxed veggies.

Problem today at Shoprite. went to use the salada tea printable coupons (from smartsource link) and the cashier and front end manager said the coupons are counterfeit! They said there should be dots in the expiration date area. Does anyone know what this is all about? I am going to look at smartsource’s website next, and see what I can find there….
My Shoprite is now doing that also, West Milford, NJ. I was at customer service and another woman was there asking that question. Apparently, they said it was a security mark that they can trace…… which I don’t believe, but they will no longer take any printable coupon without dots in the expiration area box. Though this is not printed anywhere in their coupon policy. I have coupons for Idahoan potatoes that I now have to use elsewhere. My Shoprite has said they are getting a lot of photocopied coupons and people trying to take advantage so now they need to be more careful. If you have a Walmart, they will match the Shoprite price and accept the coupon. Good Luck!
wow! i can’t believe that! I’ve never had a prob at my SR. I did notice that none of my SS printable Qs have dots under the exp. date…only the ones from coupons.com do! Also, I print coupons from stonyfield.com for yogurt and milk and they dont have dots either. I hope my SR doesn’t start this!
I have a question: The coupon I have for the Butterball Turkey Bacon, Sausage Links or Patties, exp. 12/31/11 (SS 10/09/11 R) says DO NOT DOUBLE on top of it, yet the UPC number begins with a 5 and not a 9. Will this coupon double?
My Butterball coupons have doubled before automatically, but sometimes you can get a cashier that manually puts something in the register where then they don’t double.
I had one cashier who un-doubled mine,she was like oh it says do not double and took off the 65 cents after it had doubled,i said but it doub le ,then she said we are suppose to stop them from double-ing when they say do not double this was at Pathmark.
Next time you are @ Pathmark. Check the bottom of their circular. I know at my Pathmark at the bottom of the circular it states that they double coupons, even ones that say Do Not Double. I save my DND coupons for Pathmark because they are great for that! Just today I used the Colgate Coupons that say DND & start with a 9. They doubled NO PROBLEM. Check your circular and go to customer service.
If you bought the fruit snacks that were on sale last week there are coupons on the inside of the box for $5-10 off the Cars 2 movie! That will make the sale $10.95!
Let me clarify…The insert coupon is for $5 off “combo pack or DVD favorites”. There were only $5 off coupons (the other $5 were for other products) After reading the fine print there is nothing indicating you can’t use this coupon on the DVD. I think I’ll give it a whirl and see how I make out. If it works I’ll end up making $2

A little FYI…make sure you give the cashier your Price Plus Card BEFORE they ring any of your purchase, this way the coupons double (up to .99cents) if not there is a possibilty that some wont do this. It seems like a wierd thing but it does work. Good Luck

Do you mean the Huggies/Cars 2 DVD Shoprite deal or the Huggies pampers cat? The value pack wipes ($6.19) is working with the Cars 2 deal but I think the Huggies diapers cat is just diapers.
I tried to do the Smuckers/Pillsbury buy $15 get $5 deal today. All I wanted on the list of eligible items was Jif & Crisco oil, so I planned to get 4-5 Jifs and 1-2 oils. There was no oil left on the shelves, so I decided to buy 6 Jifs at $2.49 ($2.69 original) each. The catalina didn’t print. Even if the catalina was for post-price-plus prices, I still should’ve gotten it because there was a limit of 4, so I paid full price for the last 2 peanut butters, and my total peanut butter after discounts was more than $15. I went to customer service & they printed me the catalina anyway, no problem. But neither they nor I could figure out why it didn’t print.
I did notice a $1.00 coupon came off of my bill, even though I didn’t have one. Maybe it was a SavingStar that I’d clipped & forgotten about? Still, there was nothing in the ad about it having to be pre-coupon prices.
My husband also did this deal last night (4 Jifs and 4 Pillsbury Brownies) and no catalina printed. The manager couldn’t explain why and, frankly, wasn’t really interested in trying to find out. She said, “well, sometimes these things just don’t print.” She wasn’t interested in doing anything about it even after my husband politely showed her the ad which clearly showed that they were advertising this catalina deal. Haven’t I seen a number we can call about this? For the company that runs the catalina machines? Does anyone know?

If you catalina did not print there are 2 ways to handle it.
1. If the deal is listed in your circular or on a shelf tag, in most cases you can go directly to customer service.

I bought covergirl products, 4 blushes and brow pencil and did not get the catalina. The flyer says “eye products” so I’m guessing that’s why. Bummer, but still a good deal. 6.55 for 5 items.
You should go back Candice or call Catalina marketing. I did not buy any eye products at all and got the CAT. It was strange, two other CATs came out right away. This one was kind of slow, after the receipt came out at the end. Sort of like an afterthought!

Problem today at Shoprite. went to use the salada tea printable coupons (from smartsource link) and the cashier and front end manager said the coupons are counterfeit! They said there should be dots in the expiration date area. Does anyone know what this is all about? I am going to look at smartsource’s website next, and see what I can find there….
My Shoprite is now doing that also, West Milford, NJ. I was at customer service and another woman was there asking that question. Apparently, they said it was a security mark that they can trace…… which I don’t believe, but they will no longer take any printable coupon without dots in the expiration area box. Though this is not printed anywhere in their coupon policy. I have coupons for Idahoan potatoes that I now have to use elsewhere. My Shoprite has said they are getting a lot of photocopied coupons and people trying to take advantage so now they need to be more careful. If you have a Walmart, they will match the Shoprite price and accept the coupon. Good Luck!
wow! i can’t believe that! I’ve never had a prob at my SR. I did notice that none of my SS printable Qs have dots under the exp. date…only the ones from coupons.com do! Also, I print coupons from stonyfield.com for yogurt and milk and they dont have dots either. I hope my SR doesn’t start this!

I have a question: The coupon I have for the Butterball Turkey Bacon, Sausage Links or Patties, exp. 12/31/11 (SS 10/09/11 R) says DO NOT DOUBLE on top of it, yet the UPC number begins with a 5 and not a 9. Will this coupon double?
My Butterball coupons have doubled before automatically, but sometimes you can get a cashier that manually puts something in the register where then they don’t double.

Next time you are @ Pathmark. Check the bottom of their circular. I know at my Pathmark at the bottom of the circular it states that they double coupons, even ones that say Do Not Double. I save my DND coupons for Pathmark because they are great for that! Just today I used the Colgate Coupons that say DND & start with a 9. They doubled NO PROBLEM. Check your circular and go to customer service.

Let me clarify…The insert coupon is for $5 off “combo pack or DVD favorites”. There were only $5 off coupons (the other $5 were for other products) After reading the fine print there is nothing indicating you can’t use this coupon on the DVD. I think I’ll give it a whirl and see how I make out. If it works I’ll end up making $2

I’m a beginner at coupons. Im confuse my shoprite store double coupon up to $.99 but u can only use 4 like coupons. Can someone show me and example… How am I suppose stack up…:( do I use like my example Barilla are $.99 use (2) $.50=free but I can use 4 like coupons this means i only can get 2 boxes Barilla…
you can use 4 of the same coupons…so if you have (4) 55cents off 1 coupon..which will double to 99cents for the pasta..you get 4 free boxes of pasta.
So, the register will automactilly doubled the coupons..

A little FYI…make sure you give the cashier your Price Plus Card BEFORE they ring any of your purchase, this way the coupons double (up to .99cents) if not there is a possibilty that some wont do this. It seems like a wierd thing but it does work. Good Luck

I tried to do the Smuckers/Pillsbury buy $15 get $5 deal today. All I wanted on the list of eligible items was Jif & Crisco oil, so I planned to get 4-5 Jifs and 1-2 oils. There was no oil left on the shelves, so I decided to buy 6 Jifs at $2.49 ($2.69 original) each. The catalina didn’t print. Even if the catalina was for post-price-plus prices, I still should’ve gotten it because there was a limit of 4, so I paid full price for the last 2 peanut butters, and my total peanut butter after discounts was more than $15. I went to customer service & they printed me the catalina anyway, no problem. But neither they nor I could figure out why it didn’t print.
I did notice a $1.00 coupon came off of my bill, even though I didn’t have one. Maybe it was a SavingStar that I’d clipped & forgotten about? Still, there was nothing in the ad about it having to be pre-coupon prices.

My husband also did this deal last night (4 Jifs and 4 Pillsbury Brownies) and no catalina printed. The manager couldn’t explain why and, frankly, wasn’t really interested in trying to find out. She said, “well, sometimes these things just don’t print.” She wasn’t interested in doing anything about it even after my husband politely showed her the ad which clearly showed that they were advertising this catalina deal. Haven’t I seen a number we can call about this? For the company that runs the catalina machines? Does anyone know?

If you catalina did not print there are 2 ways to handle it.
1. If the deal is listed in your circular or on a shelf tag, in most cases you can go directly to customer service.
2. If this is not a catalina deal that is in the circular then you will need to call or email Catalina Marketing company. There contact info is: 1-888-826-8766 or via email ncsc@catalinamarketing.com.

I don’t take vitamins but I noticed the nature’s bounty vitamin E cream was on the vitamin shelf and was priced at 1.74 (not too many other options in the less than $2 range in my store) and the the 2.00 off coupons worked so i scored 2 containers for free! =D just a heads up but YMMV.
