Hi I have a question I try to do the 3 deal in shoprite today and only one 10 catalina came out and two 3.00 for clairol I’m missing two $10 catalina from the transaction. Is there anyway I can return the item and repurchase it. Do I loose the coupon I use? Please help me !
Clairol and pantene are both P & G products so if you did both deals in one transaction then you will only get one $10 cat ( not 3 $10 cats)because they’re both part of buy $25 P & G and get $10 cat. If you return the items, you’ll lose your coupons but they will reimburse you the full price ( before coupons) since they will get reimbursed for the coupons you have given them.
The catalina did not print for me for the Pantene deal yesterday. I returned the items and they gave me my coupons back. However I returned them right after leaving the register.
Did anyone else use the $55 off fruitables coupon and it didn’t double. It didn’t say dnd so I’m wondering why. My toblerone coupons didn’t double either and they start with a 5 even though they say dnd. Can the cashier stop the doubling of everything, because nothing in my order doubled?

The Vails Gate store has over 100 bottles of Pantene. There are displays at both entrances and on the one side they have displays behind displays because they have so much. There are signs on both sides stating that if you buy 4, you will receive a coupon for $10 off your next order.
I am new to this couponing thing but i have noticed, and it happens every singele time i go shopping! The cashier starts to scan, the reg beeps, but the coupon does not scan. Last time i noticed the mistakes totaled 4.50. i had to go to the service desk, they had to go get the coupons and figure out what happened. I finally got the money owed to me after 45 mins. ?????
sometimes that happen but if that is the case they do it manually sometimes, don’t give up, you shouldn’t have any problem, sometimes that happen specially with internet coupons, just make sure that your coupons are not expired and you are taking the right product for your coupon, I hope this helps you, good luck

If anyone is buying the World Harbors Marinade, there is a .55 coupon in the Holiday Savings booklets that were at Stop & Shop and Shoprite before Thanksgiving. Expires 1/31/12. It says DND but i haven’t tried it to see if it actually does. might be worth a try?

I returned some pantene today and they would not give me the value of my $3.00 coupon. Usually they go and fish the coupons out of the register but this lady didnt offer to do that and since I was short of time I didnt complain. Other times I have had them give me the full value of the coupon back. It just seems to depend on who you get in the CS line.
I usually, other than that time, don’t have a receipt, they scan my card, scan the item and it shows up. does the computer tell them a coupon was used or do they have to manually check it? I’m asking because I want to return some items that i forgot to use my coupons on, but had previously purchased same items with coupons. If its going to be a hassle i would just have to find the receipts that show i didn’t use coupons on those items.
I would definitely have the receipts, a lot of times customer service will look at value of product and have no way of telling that a coupon used was used towards that product, unless the coupon explicitly says that it was a coupon for that product on the receipt (cellfire is like that). I personally consider it stealing on their part, but I suppose what would stop someone from using this system as a way to convert coupons to physical cash
As far as I know, all the shoprite I went to only allow the actual paying price refund when you do a return. Which means, they only refund you the price you paid which is minus coupon value. One of the customer service even told me they will pull out the coupons and not submit for the money from MFG if I return the product. I don’t believe anything from her mouth. Anyway, it just fell so down when the catalina didn’t print when others tried and worked. I really think shoprite is gaining their profit by not returning customer’s coupon or money of the coupon value. Someone must say something.
Woohoo! I was just at the Shop Rite in Canton, CT tonight and decided to bite the bullet and try the Pantene deal. I really didn’t think it would work and CS came over and said to the cashier that as long as I spent $25 it would work. At which point, the cashier of course pointed out that I didn’t spend $25 because it was on sale. I had her hold the coupons out of the drawer so she could give them back to me if I decided to void the order if the cat didn’t print, but it was my lucky day & out it came! I bought all 25.4 oz bottles of a variety of types….shampoos as well as conditioners….but it worked. So, have at it Canton shoppers….you should be good to go! Also, I noticed that the West Hartford and Canton stores are owned by the same family, so my theory is that it will work in West Hartford as well. Good luck!:)

I just bought 4 of the Pantene. I also bought 4 Carefree in the same transaction, but I don’t think that’s a P & G product and they were only .99 each (the Carefree), so I don’t think that added to the cat. Some stores have been working for that cat on shelf prices (before the 3.99 price plus card price) and some have not.
Since I was concerned about losing my coupons, I asked them to do this trasaction for me separately & told them to hold the coupons out since if the cat didn’t print, I’d be cancelling the transaction. Luckily, that didn’t happen this time & I got to keep the shampoo.
What variety of Pantene did you buy? I don’t think this cat works at all on the Classic. It also has to be the 25.4 oz size.
I’ve done the Pantene deal 4x (I had a large number of coupons so I could give bottles away to my sisters and St. Vincents yeah!!) at ShopRite Medford & West Berlin – they worked everytime. I bought all different kinds, including Classic – never a problem.
Do the cats print out right before you pay or how do they then void the transaction. wouldn’t you actually have to go to cs and get a refund and have someone being over the coupons?
Yes, I would probably have had to do that but I wanted to be sure to say up front that I was going to want the coupons back if it didn’t work. The CS person came over to the register to see if it worked anyway, so I had everyone involved!:)
Cat is not printing at Poughkeepsie store because they are ringing up as on sale for $3.99….not $6.49 and then a reduction for using your savings card of $2.50 for a final total of $3.99 each. I went right to the CS desk to figure out, I returned my items and they gave me my coupons back.
I am not sure but I am going to try again….After I read the reply to my earlier post, I checked the size and noticed that the Poughkeepsie Shop Rite had a sign next to the 12.5 oz sizes on an endcap advertised for the 3.99, so I definitely got the worng size….I am going back to try again and hopefully it will work with the right size. I think it is a little sneaky to have a smaller size that is the same price on the end cap with the with the sale sign…….

Did the pantene deal in East Brunswick, NJ today with no problem! I was really excited! They had a TON of conditioner, but hardly any shampoo left! I had to really search the shelves to find 2! I bought 2 shampoos for fine hair and 2 conditioners for curly hair and it worked perfectly!
Okay, so yesterday I did the Pantene deal with no problems. Bought 4, used 2 coupons, catalina printed out. I had purchased other items at the same time, with a total over $25 but none of the other ones counted towards the $10 catalina deal.
Today I went to do the deal on my sister’s behalf because her paper didn’t have the coupons. I used her phone number, bought 4 Pantenes (classic, this time), used 2 coupons, and had no catalina print.
I’m so disappointed and am trying to decide if it is worth speaking with customer service over or if I should just return them. I had two more coupons I was going to use tomorrow for my mother and now I am torn over what to do…
That stinks! I heard the “classic” pantene isn’t working. you should try exchanging them for “dry to moisturize” or “color preserve” and then it should produce a catalina.
OMG I ran into Shoprite at Hamilton MArketplace to stock up on a few more coffee creamers and the poland spring water….And to my surprise they had the boneless pork for .99 a pound!!! THe same big ones that they had on Sale for Black Friday!!! I’m shocked! I have never seen it priced that low…run run run if you are close to Hamilton!

YES!! Bring the shampoos back to customer service with your receipt. In Paramus there is a HUGE display in the back of the store (hunt fot it, it’s all cardboard stands with tons of shampoos on it). Next, there are many photocopies of the catalina deal taped onto the displays. Read it carefully to make sure you bought the correct type and size. If you did, cs will definitely make good on the catalina. If you didn’t, explain you were trying to make the deal and you made a mistake, will they please let you exchange your items for the correct product and will they print out a cat for you. I have done this in the past there. Their customer service is great! If you can’t figure out where you went wrong, ask customer service to help you out. Usually everyone who works there is very nice and they get a kick out of how well the deals match up. Good Luck!!!

i did the gift card deal, RC. Bought $100.00 worth of Lowe’s cards, nothing printed on my receipt. But the fine print says that the credit will appear 12/05/11. I’ve saved the recepit and advertisement just in case it doesn’t show up next week.
I bought $100 in gift cards on 12/1 – nothing showed up on the receipt. Today when I made a purchase the $20 credit was not there. Went to customer service – they had no idea what I was talking about. One of them got out a circular from last week – and then they looked up my priceplus information in their computer system. There was nothing in the system to show that I qualified for the $20. They gave me 4 $5 catalinas but when I got home I found out they were for $5 off my next baby purchase. I had to go back to Shoprite and have those replaced. From this point on – only gift card deals where a catalina prints. To think – before I bought the gift cards I went to customer service to confirm the promotion. Lesson learned.

I had some $3.00 off any Pepperidge Farm coupons for some time and was looking for a store to use them. I found tPepperidge Farm Cookies are on sale at SR for $2.5 this week. I went to a newly open SR in our area this morning. Since they only allowed 4 identical coupons per transaction, I split the check out. I was surprised that:
1) Each coupon take $3.00 off automatically, even though I reminded the cashier to adjust it down.
2) On the 2nd & 3rd transactions, there were a small notice printed out at the bottom of receipts. “Congratulations! you just received $5 Saving Certificates…” Also there is a code printed out with the notice.
If this $5 Saving Certificates is true, then it is a great MM for something that many people love to eat!

They can block doubling but you would probably notice. Did you make sure to use your price plus card?

The Pantene Catalina is not working in Enfield, CT. The lady at the service desk told me I had to spend $25 after sale and coupons. I returned them.

Did the pantene deal in East Brunswick, NJ today with no problem! I was really excited! They had a TON of conditioner, but hardly any shampoo left! I had to really search the shelves to find 2! I bought 2 shampoos for fine hair and 2 conditioners for curly hair and it worked perfectly!
Okay, so yesterday I did the Pantene deal with no problems. Bought 4, used 2 coupons, catalina printed out. I had purchased other items at the same time, with a total over $25 but none of the other ones counted towards the $10 catalina deal.
Today I went to do the deal on my sister’s behalf because her paper didn’t have the coupons. I used her phone number, bought 4 Pantenes (classic, this time), used 2 coupons, and had no catalina print.
I’m so disappointed and am trying to decide if it is worth speaking with customer service over or if I should just return them. I had two more coupons I was going to use tomorrow for my mother and now I am torn over what to do…
That stinks! I heard the “classic” pantene isn’t working. you should try exchanging them for “dry to moisturize” or “color preserve” and then it should produce a catalina.
OMG I ran into Shoprite at Hamilton MArketplace to stock up on a few more coffee creamers and the poland spring water….And to my surprise they had the boneless pork for .99 a pound!!! THe same big ones that they had on Sale for Black Friday!!! I’m shocked! I have never seen it priced that low…run run run if you are close to Hamilton!

Purchased 4 pantene shampoos at shoprite in paramus NJ and did not receive the $10 catalina. They are ringing up $3.99 each (before price plus card scanned). Any suggestions?
YES!! Bring the shampoos back to customer service with your receipt. In Paramus there is a HUGE display in the back of the store (hunt fot it, it’s all cardboard stands with tons of shampoos on it). Next, there are many photocopies of the catalina deal taped onto the displays. Read it carefully to make sure you bought the correct type and size. If you did, cs will definitely make good on the catalina. If you didn’t, explain you were trying to make the deal and you made a mistake, will they please let you exchange your items for the correct product and will they print out a cat for you. I have done this in the past there. Their customer service is great! If you can’t figure out where you went wrong, ask customer service to help you out. Usually everyone who works there is very nice and they get a kick out of how well the deals match up. Good Luck!!!
Got a Pantene Moneymaker yesterday and tonight. Purchased 4 pantene shampoos each day. Since they ran out with the black friday sale I got rainchecks for 8 bottles. ( 2 rainchecks )
first transaction:

second transaction was the same as the first but the following day.

i did the gift card deal, RC. Bought $100.00 worth of Lowe’s cards, nothing printed on my receipt. But the fine print says that the credit will appear 12/05/11. I’ve saved the recepit and advertisement just in case it doesn’t show up next week.
I bought $100 in gift cards on 12/1 – nothing showed up on the receipt. Today when I made a purchase the $20 credit was not there. Went to customer service – they had no idea what I was talking about. One of them got out a circular from last week – and then they looked up my priceplus information in their computer system. There was nothing in the system to show that I qualified for the $20. They gave me 4 $5 catalinas but when I got home I found out they were for $5 off my next baby purchase. I had to go back to Shoprite and have those replaced. From this point on – only gift card deals where a catalina prints. To think – before I bought the gift cards I went to customer service to confirm the promotion. Lesson learned.
i also tried the pg deal, if anyone is still going for it tomorrow. west hardtford shoprite was out of shampoo, i got 4 curly conditioners and it worked. i got 2 clairon and 2 nature infusion conditioner and it didn’t work. cs wasn’t very nice about printing it but finally i convinced them.
I had some $3.00 off any Pepperidge Farm coupons for some time and was looking for a store to use them. I found tPepperidge Farm Cookies are on sale at SR for $2.5 this week. I went to a newly open SR in our area this morning. Since they only allowed 4 identical coupons per transaction, I split the check out. I was surprised that:
1) Each coupon take $3.00 off automatically, even though I reminded the cashier to adjust it down.
2) On the 2nd & 3rd transactions, there were a small notice printed out at the bottom of receipts. “Congratulations! you just received $5 Saving Certificates…” Also there is a code printed out with the notice.
If this $5 Saving Certificates is true, then it is a great MM for something that many people love to eat!

I just wanted to let everyone know that the deal involving Spend $15, Get $5 is working on the PrePlus price. I did it this morning buying $28 ($32) and got two $5 certificates
