Can you stack the 2-$3/2 Nivea Lip Product Coupon and the 4-$1/1 printable?

thanks

Reply

KT December 31, 2011 at 2:49 pm

@ Natasha, no you cannot stack those because you are only buying 4 items and you can only use 1 coupon for item. So either 2-$3/2 or 4- $1/1. If you were buying 8 items then you could use all those.Hope that helps.

Reply

Natasha December 31, 2011 at 3:01 pm

KT Thanks. I’m still new at this.

KT December 31, 2011 at 3:04 pm

@ Natasha, no problem! If you haven’t already, take a look at the top right hand side of Cindy’s site where it says “Beginners.” Everything you need to know to get started is there :)

Reply

KT December 31, 2011 at 3:05 pm

@ Natasha, Just as an FYI – if you had CVS coupons for those same items and you could stack!

I get the Daily News and Post and never get the Nivea coupons when they come out. Seems like Newsday gets the good regional coupons. I need to get a trading buddy from LI! I get a good amount of papers from the extras from my local stores but never get the good regionals.

I got my P&G coupons in today’s Philadelphia Inquirer.
The good news is that the Bounty coupon is $1.00 off for a multi pack 6 rolls or larger, not .25. Also good for 2 paper towels or 2 napkins of any smaller sizes.
The bad news is in order to get the $5.00 off the Gillette Fusion razor, you must also buy at least a 4 pack of cartridges. The coupon reads…”Buy 1 Gillette Fusion ProGlide Cartridge (4ct or higher) get $5.00 off 1 Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor”
Are there any coupons around for just the refill cartridges?

Wouldn’t the jergens lotion be cheaper than $2.99 each?
2/6.99 – $3/2 Q = $3.99. Get a $2 ecb. That would make them $1 each, non???

@ Liz V, I believe the Jergers is $6.99 each not 2 for $6.99.

Does anyone know if we can use the cash cards right away like an ECB?

Reply

Donna January 2, 2012 at 10:21 am

I used it on my next transaction. As it prints out on the bottom of the transaction (like ECB) you can not use on that same transaction, but if you divide your transactions you can use on the next.

Reply

Anonymous January 2, 2012 at 2:28 pm

Prints right away and they give you a gift card, looks like a normal gift card. Also if u don’t make it to $30 in one transaction, it keeps a running total at the bottom of your receipt

Where do I look for the CVS Reinventing Beauty magazine. I asked a cashier and she looked at me like I had 2 heads… Is it seasonal?

Reply

Theresa January 1, 2012 at 12:47 am

I find it either at the front counter with all the other magazines or in Pharmacy with all the other magazines. It is not sesonal to my knowledge although not all stores carry it.

Reply

Melanie January 1, 2012 at 1:55 am

I find it in the beauty section of some stores. By the nail polish and gift sets.

Reply

Kabby January 1, 2012 at 11:44 am

I also find it sitting flat on a shelf in the makeup section….check inside to make sure the coupons are in the magazine…the first three I looked at the coupons were pulled out.

Reply

Jennifer January 1, 2012 at 12:45 pm

All of the CVS have them, they just don’t all put them out. We got ours delivered to our store with the truck delivery 2 weeks ago. They come out about every 3 months and they always send extra coupon inserts, too. If your store has a beauty advisor, ask them.

Reply

mary January 2, 2012 at 11:05 pm

I always get a weird look from any of the cvs in my area when I ask. I have gotten a few free mag qs from the red machine, but none of the stores have had any since the purple one last summer.

I’ve been 23cents and 17 cents short before and it worked both times (the ECB printed out) – it probably depends on the store.

Joy, for a few weeks now CVS has been having a spend $30 get a $10 giftcard….you can pick what giftcard you wanted and I just always picked CVS giftcards and used them like an ECB……This week they just changed the Giftcard to CVS Cash but its like the same thing….My giftcard is from the Scotts Deal a few weeks ago….Hope that Helps

Mel January 1, 2012 at 5:35 pm

the gillette coupon says buy both but i went today and only got the razor and still got the ecb

Reply

holly January 3, 2012 at 9:37 pm

Unfortunatley, that’s coupon fraud. If you did not purchase BOTH items as required on the coupon, it’s fraud. The ecb will print regardless. The cashier who should have caught it and not allowed it without the additional purchase. Just be careful as these are the things that give us a bad name and it’s hard enough with all the media attention out there.

Reply

Sarah Noda January 4, 2012 at 11:35 am

Um, before we accuse someone of something, you might want to clarify if he actually used the coupon or not. the post just says that he bought it and got an ECB, doesn’t say that he actually used the coupon.

lisa January 1, 2012 at 7:48 pm

I went to CVS tonight to buy the nivea lip care and was told that cvs is not accepting the printable coupons anymore. They are not getting reimbursed for them. She said they are only accepting cvs printable coupons. Meanwhile I used 4 other nivea printables at another cvs earlier in the day. Has anyone heard about this????

Reply

michelle January 1, 2012 at 8:24 pm

I went to cvs tonite and I was able to use the nivea printables. They werent scanning to the cashier just manually put them in. I haven’t heard anything about them not excepting internet coupons. Where is your CVS Lisa?

for the $10 cvs gift card, i purchased 9 bottles of pantene for $29.97, used four $3/2 q’s, oop was less than $18. got the $10 gift card, so paid around $8 for 9 bottles of pantene!

I went today to get sanitary products. The tampax pearl 18-packs and always infinity 16-packs are $3.99 each. After the $2 off 1 coupons for each from P+G, its $1.99 each, which is a definite stockpile price for me.

Reply

Roslyn January 3, 2012 at 10:00 am

I snagged a few boxes for myself this morning! The always infinity goes as low as 14ct(overnights)…so I grabbed a few of each and a few boxes of Tampax…definately a stock up item.

Sarah Noda January 2, 2012 at 2:52 am

No Nivea coupons for me :(

Here’s my plan for a deal in NYC:
Transaction 1:
Buy 8 Pantene @ 3.33. each = $26.64
Buy 4 Dawn @.99 each = $30.60
Use 4 $3/2 pantene coupons = $18.60
Use 2 $1/2 Dawn coupons = 16.60

Pay $16.60, get $10 CVS card

Transaction 2:
Buy 4 always = $12
Buy 8 Dawn = $19.92
Buy 2 Pantene = $26.58
Buy 1 Crest/ scope = $30.32
Use 4 Always $1 coupons = 26.32
Use 4 Dawn $1 Coupons = 22.32
Use 1 $3 pantene coupon = 19.32
Use 1 $1 Crest/scope = 18.32
Use $10 CVS coupon = 8.32

Pay $8.32, get $10 CVS card

OOP: $24.92 and a $10 gift card to use later – Net $14.92 spent

Reply

Annabelle January 3, 2012 at 7:01 pm

I didnt get any Nivea coupons either…I guess they were regional. I was confused because there was no “R” indicating it might be. Bummer!

Reply

If you use the BOGO Skinny Cow coupon on U-Scan do you need someone to manually enter the amount or does it automatically subtract the $3.48 from your total….TIA

Reply

michelle January 2, 2012 at 4:32 pm

it auntomatically came off manually at my cvs…but it was 4.99 not 3.48.

Reply

michelle January 2, 2012 at 4:37 pm

Im sorry it automatically came off (not manually) at my cvs.

I went to CVS today and they have rubbermaid containers on clearence. The large oblong was orig $13.90 on sale for 3.33 with $1.00 off from this weeks coupons was only $2.33. I bought 8 all different sizes after using the $1.00 coupons was 12.00 and had some ecb’s from 2 weeks ago 49c. So keep your eyes open..

Alice January 2, 2012 at 8:05 pm

Hi everyone. Does anyone know if the extra amount you spend for a cash card carries over? For example, if I spend 40 dollars and earn a cash card, will the extra ten dollars carry over, so that the next time I only spend 20 dollars to get a cash card? This is what the store employees are telling me, but on the bottom of my receipt, it says I have to spend 30 dollars to earn my next cash card, not 20. :( I hope it’s just a mistake…

Reply

Janelle S January 2, 2012 at 8:38 pm

It should carry over….So if you spent $40(on the selected items) then the $10 should carry over so you only have to spend the $20….If it doesn’t say on the bottom of the receipt that you spent the $40 then I would talk to someone at CVS, because it should say that you spent the $40

Reply

mary January 2, 2012 at 11:07 pm

it only is for the current week, though. so if you spent $40 last week on the products for the deal, it will not carry over to this week. hth

Reply

sarah January 4, 2012 at 9:05 pm

if you spend $60 in one transaction do you get 2 cash cards?

Reply

Alice January 4, 2012 at 10:06 pm

Thanks so much! You guys were all right, my spending was being tracked, I guess it was just a momentary glitch on the receipt. In addition to the Bounty deal, another good deal to watch out for is the Pantene deal. I noticed bottles that had 25% more in them, and there were stickers on the bottles that said if you buy one of them, you get a 1 dollar cvs extrabuck, and the limit is 3 extrabucks! I used up all my coupons before even seeing this, but still, sounds like a good deal if you have the coupons left :)

P.S. I don’t know if you get 2 cards, but based on my experience, I would expect so.

Jenn January 3, 2012 at 8:39 am

My circular doesn’t show Centrum or Caltrate or ProNutrient B1G1 50% off as part of the CVS Spend $30 get $10 cash back deal. I was hoping it was because I have 2-$5 coupons. The CVS cash symbol isn’t over it. Am I missing something?

So I went to CVS to take advantage of the skinny cow B1G1 free deal and the cashier said I can’t use a B1G1 coupon on top of a B1G1 free store deal. I said yes you can, ask a manager and the manager said no also. I had already taken advantage of this at another store, my sister gave me her 2 coupons to use so I told them it worked at another store. They said they shouldnt have done it. I was so mad because I know you can. I called the main CVS line from home and they basically said we encourage customers to use coupons and there is no reason they shouldn’t have accepted your coupons. They took my complaint very serious and said the district store manager would follow up with me in a day and that he would go to the store and educate the workers as to their coupon policy. They told me as long as the items are not free and have some value then the coupon would be accepted. With this deal they would be $0.75 a box. I’m just confused then as to the money maker deals. Does this mean they shouldn’t accept those kind of coupons because there is no value to the item??

Reply

Erika Sirgenson January 6, 2012 at 3:15 am

The trial size Benefiber is part of the gift card deal, but unadvertised? I don’t get it, how will I know that they will give me the gift card then? And then I won’t be able to get a raincheck for it if they don’t have any and it’s not in the ad.

Reply

Erika Sirgenson January 6, 2012 at 3:16 am

Nevermind I read my printout wrong.

Reply

Michelle January 7, 2012 at 4:49 am

Lisa they should have accepted it. I also did this deal and they accepted my coupons with the BOGO store sale. I would print out there coupon policy and bring it back to the same store and show it to them.
