I have a $5 off25 coupon at rite aid but it says on the coupon the it can not be use to my gift cards. So my question is will it work if I buy the $100 vanilla visa card and something else for like $2-3?
I was told in the store a month ago that you must use cash, credit or debit card to buy gift cards, cannot use Up rewards or coupons.
My Rite Aid requires cash when buying gift cards. They said they were getting a lot of fraud with people buying gift cards with stolen credit cards.

Just returned from Rite Aid to grab a few deals(Theraflu and Foster Grant glasses)….my receipt is showing $20 earned towards my Resolution Rewards…seems it has started hours earlier. $20 was $5.00 from Teraflu…and Foster grant glasses buy 1 get one 1 50% off $9.99+ 4.99=$15.00. I used $3MQ+$2 RA Qflu +$5 RAVVQ….used previous rewards…paid $1.04 OOP….yet receipt shows full items value towards Resolution Rewards($20)..Happy New Year.
I don’t get it.Spend $106.95 for vanilla card get $20.00 upr How is that a profit of $13.05. I missed something. Am I still spending $86.95????
Yes, essentially you are spending $86.95, but in exchange for that, you now have a $100 gift card to then use on groceries, etc. $100.00-$86.95=$13.05.
Mary..I have to say I do NOT think this is a great deal….only about 12% saving. I can do a lot better actually couponing the deals for the Resolution Rewards…especially since you have till Jan 28 to get the deal. Many of the items included in the Resolution Rewards have their own +ups ..so many chances of earning +ups…then do another deal with coupons and +ups and so on…I think you will make out much better. Am I correct that only one reward is able to be earned???

If you buy the gift card, and you use it towards the purchase of good deals, I think its a great deal, you actually start couponing with a profit earned, sounds good to me. So that gift card can go a long way, and you are already 13.05 up, I personally believe i can go almost all year with the $113 by using coupons and ups

I thought of a better way to show/explain it to you and others. (FYI–The activation fee at my store was $5.95 instead of $6.95.) In order to receive $120 (a $100 Visa gift card plus a $20 +UP), I spent only $105.95. An instant profit of $14.05 which took only 5 minutes to earn. Yes, I had to charge $105.95 right now, but I would have done that for gas in the cars and for groceries. FYI–the gift card I bought doesn’t expire for 8 years. Happy New Year!
My rite-aid just started the program where you can add coupons to your wellness card, and there is a $1/1 Robitussin product which would make it $1.99 each,
reg. $5.99 use coupon from flier
-$1/1 coupon from flier
-$1 SCR
-$1/1 from coupons.com
- $1/1 from RA clipless coupons
how do you do that?

Does anyone know how to get the 5$ of 25$ coupon? Is it on rite aids website? Is it a video you have to watch? I looked and can’t find it. Help appreciated! Thanks!
I think that coupon was found in the “fun kids”coupon book.
my husband got one in his wellness account (which was opened only a month or two ago. when he signed in online, it was visible right away. However, I did not receive one in my wellness account (which has been open about 5 months or so).
I went to RA this morning and bought a vanilla visa gift card for 100 – and it did not print out the $20.00 when the assistant manager called – she came back and told me that only the activation amount is toward the spend $100 and get $20 and on top of that they would not take it back because the card was already activated. Does anyone know if this is correct?
I bought $100 vanilla gc and it printed the $20 UPR. Did you give your RA card? If not, it won’t produce the UPR. The asst. mgr. was right, that you cannot return the gift card once it’s activated.
My husband did the Home Improvement gift card deal and the UPR didn’t print. He forgot to hand them his RA card. The store told him the same thing. Once it’s activated they couldn’t return it. However they told him to contact customer service. He did and they sent us the UPR by mail. I would suggest contacting them? 1-800-RITEAID (1-800-748-3243)
The vanilla visa gift card worked easily for me! Paid $105.95 via credit card (they didn’t give me a problem paying this way), received the $100 gift card and the $20 +UP printed without a problem. So, for $105.95, I received $120 to spend….it took 5 minutes to make $14.05!!!!!! I will use the $100 gift card to pay for groceries. Thanks for the heads up!
I went and bought the vanilla visa card, left the store and then realize the UPReward didn’t print. If I go back can they still print it out or did I just mess up and have to eat the costs? Any experience with this. I usually pay attention, but didn’t!
Vanilla visa card deal is not going to work. I was told by manager that it was a miss take and not going to work any more.
They had e-mail from head office this morning.
They gave me money back for gift card right there.

My circular states they are $2.00/2…I think this is a misprint of the starting price.
I went to rite aid and the sign was up for the 20 up if you buy the visa gift card
so I bought one and did not get the ups. The assistant manager didn’t understand and called the 800 number. They said they were not honoring it but since the sign was up don’t they have to. I am contacting them tomorrow.
I believe if the sign was up its there mistake and they owe me 20 ups.
The Vanilla Visa card worked fine for me. You have to give them your Wellness card before the transaction starts or it won’t print on your receipt. My activation fee was $4.95 so I made a $15.05 profit!
Question about the Centrum Pro Nutrients Deal.
You write: “Submit for $2.00 (must be purchased before 1/3/12)” Who do I submit to to get the $2.00?
You can submit for your rebate online at the RiteAid website. Look for SCR (Single Check Rebates).
The $100 Vanilla Gift Card did not work for me today.
i went into RiteAid & was told they would not honor b/c it was a mistake in flyer about Vanilla visa card. What stores are honoring it? I’m in Vineland & they have signs up stating it was a mistake. I went on Sunday..was so excited for good deal, bummer that it didn’t work.
can you use a coupon and an Up reward on one item? I have $1 up reward plus a dollar off coupon I was wondering if I can use both to purchase one item?
Yes…You can use a Rite aid coupon(found in ad or on their website called Video Values) + manufactures coupons+ pay for the item with an +up reward. If the item you are purchasing produces another +ups reward…bonus! Then some items may have a simple rebate sponsored from Rite Aid website..Good Luck! I love Rite Aid.

. We can stack savings. Also, sometimes I take my boyfriend (Mr Wonderfully Patient). After doing transactions with his card (different households and he is there, so my RA doesn’t mind) I use the ups I got and apply them to my transactions. To keep the cards separate, I wrote his name small print in sharpie.

The Vanilla gc has been pulled out as part of the resolution rewards since Monday so you won’t be able to get the $20 UPR anymore.
