I’m going to try this today with the Curel as well as the Maybelline Target coupons and manufacturer coupons (am really hoping that Curel deal with the $5 gc is working here in Washington). I am reading on the Target printables though where they state one per coupon per ‘purchase’ etc etc so I’m wondering if interpreting this to mean a manufacturer coupon can still be applied without issue would be correct … perhaps the cashier will need to be schooled if there is a problem (transaction = purchase total vs per item/purchase = each individual product in that ‘transaction’)

Yours might be regional. I was happy when I got the $2/1 coupon in today’s paper. Usually, Long Island get crappy coupons or none at all.
just wondering how do you get the $5 gift card? does it print on your receipt? also, can you do more than one transaction?
When the cashier scans both lotions he or she will get a pop-up on the register screen and that’s when you will get your gift card, but you won’t be able to use the gift card until your next purchase. Some cashiers will not mind if you do two transactions and use your first $5 gift card on your 2nd transactions, but that depends on the cashier.
I did this deal 2 weeks ago twice! Once with 2$ coupons and another time with 1$ coupons since it is still a moneymaker. Made almost 4$ with no OOP expense since I paid with a gift card to begin with!
If you price check will it show the gift card promotion? I am not a regular Target shopper.
No, it won’t. I just asked the cashier and after scanning both lotions she told me they were part of the promotion.

My local Target had (1) of the Foot product left only…the cheapest Curel product they carry, and priced at $3.59 on sale…Other products were on sale for like $5 + so I scored the last of the foot one and a full size lotion and used my (2) – $2/1 coupons and got the $5 gc. Since I also got the $10 gc from yesterday’s deal (spend $50 get $10 gc) I now have enough to get two Mossimo (sp) sweaters currently 30% off (reg. 17.99/19.99) and also use the $4 sweater coupons from target.com/coupons and pay little out of pocket! I used one today and paid $8.59 for the sweater!! So excited!

My Target, in Toms River, only has the 20oz bottles marked as part of the gift card option and even with coupon its not a money maker. Bummer.

No. It prints the return value of the item on the receipt with these kinds of deals and the amount of the gift card is deducted. Unless you return without a receipt but why?
