CVS: Possible Schick or Skintimate Money Maker

UPDATE: THIS DEAL IS BEING CORRECTED IN THE STORES AND SIGNS REMOVED.  IT WILL NOT BE PRODUCING THE EXTRA CARE BUCKS ON THE SHAVING CREAMS.  YOU CAN STILL GET THE RAZOR, HOWEVER THE LIMIT WILL BE ONE.

There is an unusual Extra Care Bucks deal at CVS this week.  The deal is for Skintimate & Schick Hydro Products.  Here is the deal info:

Buy Select Skintimate & Schick Hydro Products, Get a $4 ECB with a limit of 100!

No that is not a typo.  At least not for me it’s not.  The sign does say Limit 100 per Household.  And, I did try the deal 3 times and it has not hit a limit on the bottom of my receipt yet.

Now, if that was not enough,  The Schick Hydro Shave Gel and the Skintimate Shave Cream are priced around $4.19 each.  So, that is only $0.19 a piece.  But, make sure to check the cans because I found $2/1 coupons on both the Schick and the Skintimate at my CVS.

Here are the deals:

With Peelie Coupons
Without Peelie Coupons

Be sure to check out the rest of the CVS Coupon Match Ups for this week

It REALLY annoys me when people brag about cleaning shelves off and its worse when they brag about cleaning many stores out! Some people are so selfish and they are the reason all the stores are changing their policies. Way to set an example!

Bottom line is with a deal like this whether one person clears the shelves or one millions the shelves will be clear. No one is going to pass up the offer of receiving free shaving and when the limit is 100 (extremely rare and probably a mistake) no one including yourself is going to stand back and say hmm I’m going to leave a few of these so other people may enjoy free shaving cream. If you think you would, than your only lying to yourself. This was legit and legal and a simple case of you snooze you lose.

i actually bought 3 yesterday… and left some on the shelf bc i didnt want to clear them out.. so YES some people actually do care about others even though it is FREE. Now did i think to myself after leaving, should i have bought more.. OF COURSE! its free!

I did the deal at 11:45am in Morrisville PA and the ECB did not print, looks like the deal is over now.

if the sign was up you shouldve asked why they didnt print! i went yesterday and got 3 and the eb didnt print, the cashier went through the ad even though i said it wasnt in there.. then went back and got the sign and had to manually put in the EB each time to get them to print, but she did it!

I agree I got 4 items and gave 2 to my soon to be daughter in -law. I dont know why people are clearing the shelves. I still have 1 left from that last deal.
Its frustrating when you go into cvs and its all gone and it waste so much time and effert.

I went to one CVS today and the sign was there but no products, then went to another where there wasn’t a sign but did have some cans so i bought 3 and when the ECB did not print, I asked the cashier and she said usually all CVS stores are the same but since the sign wasn’t there she could not give me the ECBs, so I returned all that I bought and ended up with more money then I spent??? After that I just gave up since she gave me back cash when I used ECB’s and coupons to pay. Now it makes sense why the ECB’s did not print, but I think I made out better anyway.

oh yes I did, I left 8 of them on the shelf. If thats what you need to do is clear the shelves for shaving cream . Think about it ! Its SHAVING CREAM!!!!!! YOU DONT FEED YOUR FAMILY ON SHAVING CREAM.

I agree I purchased 5 and left at least 6 on the shelf for someone else to enjoy. Now if I got there and only 4 or 5 were left then I may have taken them all. I don’t consider it shelf clearing if there are only a few left.

Just got 5 and left 2 on shelf . Didn’t want to be toooo greedy. Register didn’t print extra bucks so the very nice cashier manually printed one for me.
they were located on the bottom shelf where noone could really see them.

Only 1womens and 4 Hydro left on the self when I was there. Was going to go back on Friday when the truck comes in, but noticed yesterday, an empty shelf and no shelf tag for the EB. :(

Glad I got mine while they were available. I went to 3 different CVS so I only took 4 per store and left some on the shelf. Of course, I left the scent that I didn’t like :)

I actually went to cvs like two days ago, they had two shaving gels left an the sticker was still there saying u get $4 ecbs..i bought them (using $8 ecb that i got from the last time i bought them lol)they didnt print the ecbs but they HAD to honor it so i got my $8 ecbs. In total i have about 14 cans

And someone mentioned something about wiping the shelves off….ummm theres a CVS brand shaving gel its not like its diapers, cold medicine, diabetes moniters how is wiping the shelves of a specific brand of shaving gel to hurt anybody o.0

And i normally dont wipe shelves its really not something i do im not a stockpiler i give things away. I usually only get four papers..i have never had more than that..so i never have more than four of each coupon..if i see the last four items i will get them, why leave one cvs to drive down to another cvs to get one can..makes NO sense. I have walked into the store an it was clear an yes its annoying but its first come first serve in this couponing game would it make a difference if i was paying cash an wiped shelves? Nahh i dont think so. Also wiping the shelves at CVS isnt hard we’re talking 4-5 of the same product on the shelf if that.
