I found on coupons.com under zip code 30303 a 75 cent off coupon for Barilla Pasta Sauve making the deal even better if your Pathmark doubles it to $1.50 like mine. That’s 2 jars of Barilla for $2! Or 4 jars if you can print more than 2 coupons. Thanks for your great matchups

If I do the bounty, charmin and tide deal for $28, will it print the $12 Catalina?
Yes, it will print but $28 is after you spending $40 and getting $12 back.
Buying 2 tides should qualify for the catalina since usually the cats work on shelf price : 2x ($23.49) $16.00 => ($46.98) $32.00 – $4.00 coupons => you pay $28.00 and get the $12 cat.

For the P&G deal, does the catalina get triggered from the pre-sale price or the sale price?

I have a question I would like to use 2 coca cola zero coupons that I printed off facebook value of .99 cents would they double to $1.98? The reason I am asking is because they are going to have the 12oz bottles on sale 3/$8 so if they fully double I will be paying 3/$4 thank you for your help.

I used this coupon the last time pathmark have coke zero on sale for 5/$5. I have 2-.99/1 coke zero coupon but into my suprise my receipt only taken 2-.99c as the face value of the coupons & 2-.90c for the doubled value.,so i ended up paying 1.22 instead of just 1.04

thank you~ dont see any deals worth while at pathmark this week , only one I see is P&G and I dont trust zavers coupons as have only worked ONCE for me! Sticking to Shoprite and Stop and Shop this week. Thank you for all you do!
Just a note regarding Zavers. @V mentioned, above, you can use a zavers and a paper coupon together IF you loaded your Zavers from the “store” category tab. I think it bears repeating because there are two types of zavers you can load and it is easy to confuse them, or, just not realize which ones you are loading (I know I was confused when I first signed up for it).
You have to look at the Tab headings when you are on the Coupon Source page from within your PM online account.
One tab is called Store Coupons, and if you load them from here, you will see the ‘available at Pathmark’ message on the coupon image. This is considered a Pathmark store coupon, so, they CAN be stacked with manufacturer’s paper coupons.
The other tab is called Brand Coupons. These are considered manufacturer’s coupons so they CANNOT be stacked with paper manufacturer’s coupons. In addition to people saying they don’t get their zavers at all, sometimes, there is also the problem where some people have said they got their zavers, but, their paper coupons then beeped and couldn’t be used.
So, it just pays to be careful and sign up for your zavers under the Store Coupons category tab!
Rocky, I’m so glad you pointed that out. That makes perfect sense. Is there any way of telling which one is which AFTER you’ve saved them? Because none of my zavers came off on tonight’s purchase and the cashier did a manual store coupon for each. One of them was for the Pantene shampoo. Can you tell if that was store or brand?
The Store coupons have the words “Available at Pathmark” written just under the expiration date (which are both sort of grayed out, so, not very obvious). You have to kind of squint to see it (well, at least I do!). I checked mine and see that the “$3 off TWO Pantene Shampoos (excludes trial size & travel packs)” is a store coupon, so, presumably, it should have come off, even w/manuf coupons. If you are regularly having problems, it is probably best to do what Karin, above, suggests – keep a copy of a print out with you so you have some back up when talking to CS. You should probably also contact zavers, but, I hear a lot of folks don’t get speedy responses from them…bummer…
Oh, I forgot to mention that at some stores, CS may say they don’t have the ability to do anything about electronic coupons since there is nothing they can do to control them, and, I guess I’d have to agree. It’s a totally separate area/company from the actual store you are shopping at, so, it’s possible the only recourse is to deal with the eQ company, in this case, the zavers folks.
Rocky, thanks so much for all of that information. I see now that you did include how to tell which one is store/brand in your first post. I think I just scanned it quickly after I got home from PM last night. I had an issue there with the P&G and the $12 cat not printing (my post on that is below). I scanned your post quickly, made my comments, then went to bed!
On another note, you seem to be very knowledgable on this stuff so if you have any input on the cat deals and my issue below I’d appreciate it!
Hi, Christine, thanks for the kind words – but, you may be giving me too much credit! The things I’ve learned have come about from this great site, coupled with personal experiences I have had over the last few months (you know, the old ‘live and learn’ routine!). Went through a bunch of zavers stuff, so, came out of it with some knowledge. I haven’t, though, had the same experiences with catalina deals at PM. Since they closed the store near me, I travel to one of the other ones maybe only once or twice a month – which means I don’t get to do a lot of their deals. So, we’ll have to wait and see what others, who’ve been through it more often, have to say, sorry!
I find that at my Pathmarks, the cashiers aren’t even aware that zavers exist. I’ve been told that there is no way to save coupons onto the store card, and that I must be thinking of another store.
Really?!?!? You’re a cashier, and you don’t know about e-coupons?
Just an FYI:
The Bounty/Charmin/Tide deal for $28 (listed under household above) is part of the buy $40 P&G products get a $12 catalina deal. You don’t actually purchase them at the register for $28. I was just at PM and there was a sign posted specifically pointing out that when you purchase them for $40 now you get a cat for $12 for a future shopping trip.
No way! Well, that is just a poor job of writing it up in the circular. Ugh, I tell you, these companies. Thanks for letting me know Christine. I’ll update the post.
Also, can somebody please tell me what the trick is to having the cat print using the shelf price and not the price after store sale and coupons? I purchased 2 Pantene shampoos, 2 Downy, 1 Crest & 2 Bounty napkins. Total shelf price was $42 and change. Total OOP was around $21 and the cat didn’t print. I went round and round with the manager for about 20 minutes until I said to return it all and forget it. She then printed a complimentary $12 cat for me and I left and went to Shoprite to pick up my free Excedrin migraine meds!
I puchase everything on deal idea. Everything match-up, but catalina didnot print and I didnot get the zavers ecoupon. I was told by CS at PM, you cannot get the $12 catalina print-out, if you are using manf coupon and if the item is on sale. I was also, told, the $12 catalina coupon only print, if I was paying full price and cann get the sale price. Has anybody have the same problem.
I think we have to have the cashier ring up the sale and hit subtotal AND THEN give them our rewards card and printed coupons so the system can “catch” the shelf price and the cat will print.
The catalina coupon only prints when you spend $40 after the card. I went to Pathmark with my coupons and zavers, paid $16 oop (because I substituted the shaving cream with Dawn). I thought it was still a deal – but no catalina! So I went to customer service and she added it up, told me I only spend $26 before my store card, but that they count the sale price and not the original price. They would need your store card to get the $12 catalina. I ended up returning evErything only because I wouldn’t have brought it if it wasn’t for the $12. They were nice enough to return it and pay me out my coupons since they could give them back to me. I left with $28. Guess I made a profit but no merchandise:( I think I’m going to stick with Shoprite!

At my PM, I was told by CS the zavers won’t come off if the rewards card isn’t handed in at the beginning of the transation.
They should tell their cashier not to scan until they ask for your card. When you have a lot of stuff, and are still putting it on the belt – they don’t even ask for the card. They just start scanning.
I was at Pathmark today for about an hour. The manager on the front end called the help desk. I was told it’s $40 not on retail price of merchandise but Pathmark sale price with your shopper card. Which is so odd, the reason why I questioned it because normally any stores the catalina prints off of the retail price of the merchandise not sale price. I was bummed out.
They will always tell you that it is not on the retail price however, I have to agree, it is odd that this is not working on retail price. It does 99.99% of the time. I can not figure out what is causing it not to work. I’m hoping for one person to say that it worked on retail price and then maybe we can eliminate what is causing it not to print.
Cindy, first I want to thank you for all your hard work. It makes mine a breeze when I have to go shopping. However, my PM didn’t appreciate all your hard work and this is why. I went to my pathmark yesterday. I tried to do the $40 P&G deal and my cat. didn’t print or my Johnson & Johnson cat. Of course, I went to customer service where I was told that the cat deals were based on sale price and not shelf price. On top of that I was told that if mfg coupons are used, the cat won’t print because the minimum requirement was not met. Has PM changed their policies or if my PM just trying to make me insane. Oh yes, I forgot to mention NONE of my zavers were taken off either. Needless to say, I did return all my items and retrieved all my mfg coupons as well… not at all happy with PM this week…
Usually the Pathmark deals are based on shelf price and the coupons have no effect on them at all. However, I put in my post that the deal idea I come up with, although based on shelf price, has not been confirmed. So, it’s best to wait until the deal is confirmed before you actually try it.
As of today, I have no confirmation of it working on shelf price. As soon as I find out, I will post.
Also, sometimes, there are items in the catalina deal that are not put into the system correct causing the catalina not to print. I do not know if that is the case with this.
And lastly, if you are basing your order on shelf price, you will not get anywhere with customer service. They will ALWAYS tell you that it is based on sale price and after coupons. Your best best is to contact Catalina Marketing to get your catalina. There info is at the bottom of the post or in the FAQ section above.

I just wanted to comment on the P&G deal. I went to Pathmark in Linden, NJ and I bought the Tide/Charmin/Bounty products – and assuming I was gettign them for $28 I purchased additional P&G products to go over $40 (Pantene, Cascade, Crest). I used coupons on all of the P&G items I purchased and I received my $12 CAT no problem and this was at self-checkout. However, the Tide/Charmin/Bounty did not take cost my $28 as advertised, I paid $$16 + $12+$12 in other words one of the $12 items didn’t come off. I went to customer service and they said they were missing the code in their system that automatically deducted the $12 when someone bought all 3. Unfortunately not one single zaver came off my purchase and I had over $10 in zavers I was anticipating using. I am going to email them. I usually am succesful with zavers, this is only the 2nd time in a year that my zavers didn’t work.
It sounds like you got the $12 catalina for the purchase of the Tide/Charmin/Bounty. They do not deduct $12 from your bill.. They just give you a $12 catalina.

Yes, the gave me the $12 as a refund. So I received the $12 CAT and technically ended up receiving the 3 items for $28. Now if my zavers (over $10 worth) would have come off it would have been a great shopping experience
That’s messed up! How many people just walk out the door – not even realizing that the $12 didn’t get deducted. How much money are they making on the $12 off (but only if you ask for it) sale?
Purchased the Tide, Charmin & Bounty for $33+tax (zavers & manu coupons were deducted without issue). Received the 12 CAT.
I don’t know if it’s in all stores, but mine in Edgewater Park, NJ had 8oz Pom Wonderful bottles 2 for $3. Using the $1/1 coupons from the 12/4 and 1/8 SS, made them $0.50.
Once again, my zavers did not come off (they were store e coupons, so they should have). This is mostly why I have started shopping much less at Pathmark
I did the P&G deal based on sales prices last night. I bought 6 panteen 1 box of tampax, 3 Gillette, 1 Dawn, 3 ivory and 1 crest. I made sure the total was over 40(it was around 43 and change) I had also bought other things to get my total to over $80 so I can use the $8 off coupon.. Well after everything was done my catalina didn’t print. I did go to customer service they added up my total and gave me a rain check for $12 off my next order. They don’t know why it didn’t print. She did tell me that people getting that deal were buying the Tide/Charmin/Bounty. All in all it took alittle extra time there but I got my $12
I did the catalina deal 2 times and got 2 separate $12 catalina’s.

Total: $42.44 ($29.94 OOP)
I went to use them (one at a time) on other transactions and for some reason they are not coming off. The cashier needs to manually take the $12 off/override it, etc. It caused a big line back up each time untill they figured out how to take the $12 catalina off so beware. This seems to be the only problem with the catalina in my area – Walnutport, PA.
Just a heads up..I am confirming the Crystal Light catalina. I went to pathmark this morning and bought 4 crystal lights and got back a $2.50 catalina.
What if I buy $40 worth of J&J products – will I get $10 or do I have to do separate transactions? TIA
