I printed the $1/3 many many months ago and still has not reset. Was able to get 265 jars last week. No I did not clear shelves. took 6 days and 11 transactions. Have a lot of family members expecting as well as my own newborn, so this was huge. Saved over $150.

Me too. I had everyone I know printing me these q’s over the summer (end of July), so I could stock up on baby food for my little one. Now she is almost 1 and have about 30 or so jars left – so at least I can pass those on to someone else. Still, I would have loved to have printed more coupons to pick up more jars for donating.

Is it all beechnut stages?

Reply

jim January 17, 2012 at 11:22 am

If its the same as last week, its only stage 2 that is on sale. 2.5 is not on sale, just 2. I would buy 24 jars. I was using (1) $1/8 q and (1) $2/16 q with the $4 catalina from the previous transaction. Which will give $.40 overage so I bought canned vegetables at $.48. Final Price $.08. Minus my 2 canvas bags = FREE 24 jars and 1 can of vegetables

so is there a limit as to how many sets of 12 for $3.30 ( before q’s) that you are allowed?

Reply

jim January 17, 2012 at 1:45 pm

Limit 4 offers (48 jars), no point in doing more than 2 offers (24 jars) because anything over 20 jars will only get you a $4 cat

awesome!Thanks for the tips!

just stage 2 – i think. Or, at least it’s only the stage 2 that works out to being free with the $1/3 q.

You can also buy 24 stage 2 jars and use the $2 off 16 coupon and the $1 off 8 coupon. You pay $3.60 and get a $4 catalina.

There was a cellfire SR digital coup also on their site too but I didn’t see it come off mu receipt last week. Does it not work bc there is so much overage already?

The ecoupon is for Stage 2.5. The stage 2 is on sale.

Both my sisters in law are always amazed and grateful when I give them free food for my baby niece & nephew – but they still don’t coupon themselves. With the proof right in front of them, I just don’t understand it!

OMG, my family always says has something to say when I’m not around about my couponing. I just don’t understand how no one would want to save if they could. This website does all the work for you to boot. I just don’t bother with it anymore, their loss. But the biggest part is everyone is struggling to pay the bills. Go Figure!

Lady J January 18, 2012 at 11:12 am

i know what you mean. People say this takes too much time and too much work, but then they pay full retail and are concerned with paying bills. I can see being skeptic when this is just something that you see on TV. But when you know people who are saving 100s of dollars a month (w/o buying extreme amounts of groceries or spending more than an hour at the store), wouldn’t you be curious to at least try it yourself once or twice before you dismiss it?

moneymaker at S&S too – I paid $1 for 12 and got the $2 CAT :)

I bought 24 jars last week to stock up and never received the catalina :( Is the only way to fix this to call the catalina company, or can I just take my receipt to customer service? I was too tired to deal with the issue immediately after I purchased everything.

Any tips on similac powder formula? I usually buy it at BJ Wholesale $28.99 for 32oz container. But I was wondering if anyone knows of a better deal even online. Thank you in advance

Did you apply online at similac.com for their club thing? Once you do they send you $5 coupons in mail pretty frequently, also ask your pediatricians’s office for samples/coupons, and i think coupons.com has a coupon off powder similac at walmart. Not sure what the subscribe and save deal for similac on amazon.com is, but check that out too.

I find that with the Similac club I never got any checks. Every time I called about it, they said that checks were randomly generated. I only ever got the checks that game in the sample pack and that was it. But I often hear of people with school-aged kids still getting checks once a month. Go figure!

For a while I was buying at CVS with the 20% off q CVS offers from time to time. I know there was (maybe still is) a $1/1 q at coupons.com. I know last year, Walgreens had a Baby Book which had a $2 off store q that you could use all year.

Also, people trade Similac checks and q’s. But this could get tricky because Similac is highly sought after.

I signed up twice for the similac club and have received tons of checks from them! Also my mother in law signed up and received some too. After a while they stop sending them. Just have your family sign up for you and you should be good to go :)

Just be glad you’re saving by just getting the powder alone! My son will only drink the ready to feed formula and at $5 and change a bottle for 32 oz it is sooooo expensive!!! Ugh XD

Honestly Valerie, when it comes to the formula I always stocked up when Similac would offer the $2, $3 or $5 coupons and always from Shoprite because they give you baby bucks back. So for every $10 spent there you get one back even if you use coupons for the whole $10. I don’t understand Similac coupon cycles but I do know they are about due for some coupons very soon then go online to ebay or a clipping service to buy them for stocking up. Shoprite usually has them on sale for two weeks at a time. I too still buy them for donating to family and friends.

Has anyone had any problems using the $1/3 coupons? It was reported on another site that the coupons are beeping. With these the trans would be completely free but really not worth it for me if they are beeping because depending on the cashier, they may or may not take it. Or should I just stick with the $1/8 and $2/16?

Reply

Kaitlyn January 17, 2012 at 7:35 pm

all three coupons have been beeping for me. coupon comes up “exceeds the value” so either way you will need an override.

Reply

Rei January 17, 2012 at 7:56 pm

I read elsewhere that the coupon beeps because it’s coded as $1/1

All of my coupons worked without issues. I even mixed up the 2 1/2 jar coupons by mistake and it went through. I did soo many transactions but didn’t notice it until I was home and was wondering what coupon for $1.85 was. Then saw it in my binder, oh well, lucky me.

Mine beeped but the manager just came over to override it and that was it….they just made sure that I bought the right items…..I even got the extra $0.70 on the 4th $1/3 coupon making it a $2.70 MM

Last week I got 383 jars, 3 boxes cereal, and two ella pouches. Took 16 transactions over 5 days and I made $7.97 and two $10 off $50. With the help of friends I , got 96 more jars today (4) transactions, and have 7 more sets of coupons. I donated all of last weeks jars, and will do the same this week. I use the overage to make up the difference for the cereal. My community really needs the help and it is a greal lession for my kids. Thanks LRWC, you rock and feed the babies too.

I have a new infant. How many jars of baby food do you think she will use? I want to make sure I buy enough with this deal. What ever she does not use I will donate since the jars so far do not expire until 2013. Thanks

Hi Valerie, congratulations on your little one. All babies are different so as mom you will need to know what works. To give you an example, my little guys were about 3 months when I started to sprinkle rice cereal in their bottle because I never wanted to use more than 32 oz of formula a day (too expensive) so I started to increase as he did then around 4 months we started with 1 jar and by the time they were 6 months they had 4 jars a day and 26 oz of formula and a nice size bowl of cereal in the morning and night. Yes my little ones were chubby but not obese. My youngest is 18 mths and I still put a jar of fruit in his bottle every morning because I feel that is the only thing lacking in his diet. I hope this helps. Good luck.

It’s really hard to say. My oldest ate jars for a while. She even went to Stage 3. She was content with it. My littlest has no interest in jar food. I “bought” almost 200 jars back in July when they worked out to free. And I have left over. She sees her big sister eating real food and wants the same. She has a fair amount of teeth now, so I don’t mind giving her things that her sister was sneaking her anyway. Before she got the teeth, I was really worried about it, but now she eats what the older one eats.

I would say, if you have the space, and it doesn’t exp for a while, get as much as you can for free (actually it’s a money maker). Send everyone you are close with the link for the q’s, and ask them to print for you. Just keep going and getting more. And since this is food, you aren’t even paying tax. You’ll have plenty for your baby, and whatever you don’t use – you can donate then. Which, is exactly my situation. My daughter will not eat jar food anymore. I have about 30 jars left. I’m going to pass them on to others.

Good luck.

Congrats on your little one! :) You can also make food yourself too! I’ve been getting baby food either super cheap or free, so I’ve been lazy.

So far I’ve only made and froze bananas. I blended them after they got a little ripe. It seemed a bit thick so I put a little bit of water. It was really easy :) and my target has bananas for .24 cents a pound.

How do you ladies get so many copies if the same coupon??

Reply

Valerie January 19, 2012 at 5:09 am

Hi,
A few ways….
Buy extra newspapers if there are good coupons or a large quantity of coupons in that weeks paper.
Ebay
Clipping service companies
Bought an extra cheap laptop so that I could print extra printable coupons. Since most sites will let you only print 2 of each coupon.

I find that 4 like coupons really increase the savings.
