Now I have to hope these inserts are included in The Record this week. In my area, Northern bergen County inserts have not been in the Record since the lst of the year. I ran around to 10 different stores and not one of the stores had them…..so be sure to see if inserts are included before buying. Any one else run into this problem?
Same here! I have to go for the NY Post or wall st journal, but lose the higher value coupons, so I’ve been grabbing a Ledger, too.
I have the same issue every week! If I don’t get the redplum on Thursdays for the Ledger than I’m screwed. I live in Union County. I keep wishing there was a more definitive list of what insert is in what paper and what exactly is in the inserts. The Post is great but the q’s are different from the Ledger. The Daily News is a total waste of time. Last week one of my inserts actually had some q’s cut out. It’s so frustrating.
You might want to just buy the qs instead. Cindy uses coupon DeDe. not sure of the web sight.I looked into it a while ago…think I will use them in the future for stockpiling…prices were reasonable too. Just an idea…hope it helps.
I am also from Union County, I get the Thursday and Sunday Star Ledger and I also look out for the store circulars that are left on everyones front porch (the white bag) that too has a redplum insert in it. What I have come to notice is that we dont get another set of redplum in the Sunday paper being that we get the ones from the Thursday paper and the one left on the porch :O(
The white sleeve had both inserts in it on Thursday and from what I can see it’s all the q’s listed that were supposed to be. So, so far I’m thinking that the Ledger has all the q’s that are listed. The problem is getting multiple RedPlum’s because the Ledger distributes them on Thursdays. Yesterday since it was so beautiful I actually took a walk around the neighborhood and so many people never even pick them up. So I helped myself. Just an FYI I didn’t steal anyone’s I know which houses and apartments around here are empty so those are the ones I took. There’s no harm in that right?
Anyone have an update on the Zavers…pathmark ordeal?

I did not find that coupon in the smart source insert.
sometimes the news office have them for sale for a dollar a piece so I go once a week to buy 4 papers for 4 dollars.. try to check out their offices.. in our area, the gazette does it..
i havent hada issue w the zavers at all in weisport,pa pathmark.
I live in Orange County, NY and have had problems with my paper for months. I used to be able to go to the Dollar Tree and buy the Times Herald Record for $1 and have all the inserts but now they don’t carry RedPlum and/or SmartSource. So now I’m forced to buy the Daily News, Post and Record. I am spending more on newspapers, but that’s the only way to save.

I live in ulster County NY…i get 12 sunday papers at the dollar tree everyweek..never had a problem with inserts missing.
i get the asbury park press delivered & ss & rp are in saturdays paper. if i buy a sunday paper they have both also. what other nj papers sell the sunday paper in stores w/both rp & ss. i know the ledger(while having better ss’s)dont have the rp. i grabbed to other papers sunday-1 only had an ss, the other nothing.boooooo. i am now conducting thorough research-LOL

I could only wish to see all of these inserts in a single paper. We get usually 1-2 inserts that are mentioned in any given week. Even those purchased from the Dollar Tree. I know they are regional so not all areas get the same inserts but…I am hopeful that maybe, just maybe, with my new Sunday subscription that starts tomorrow I will have what’s in the line up. Im going to check it first before I hit the Dollar Tree again and then compare! (got a steal on the Seattle Times Sunday paper though, 52 weeks for $24!!)
I have noticed that the smartsource insert is has not been in the Record for about a month and when I call the sales office they told me that smartsource only wants the insert for home delivery and not at the stores. I contacted smartsource and am waiting to hear back.
