This fun site is recommended! It was only available locally here for a little while but I signed up on Day 1. My account was opened on 11/14/11.
One other thing…their customer service is excellent if you ever need to contact them for any reason.

I’ve had my account since last summer, when you posted about it I had to check it out! I have just recently been interviewed for a local paper in my town about my recycle bank experience. The library when I work at was giving out bookmarks with recycle bank codes on them to patrons who would come in and borrow a book…getting books from your library is a great way to be ‘green’. 🙂

I’ve had my RecycleBank Acct for about 8months to 1yr…Hard to remember exactly…lol….So Far I’ve only been able to gain points through the free quiz’s and things like that on their site….My area unfortunately does not participate in the recycling portion of it, so I miss out on all of those points that I could possibly receive…Can’t wait til I can start using my points towards different q’s and other things. 🙂

I’ve had my recyclebank account for a few years now. Our town participated in paper recycling and we would get points based on the weight of what we recycled. Unfortunately, our town stopped the program because most of the people did not participate in the recyclebank rewards so it’s great that I can still earn points by watching videos.

I came across RecyleBank and thought wow what a great way to keep me conscience of our environment and get savings all in one place. I earn 10 points just for doing what I’ve been doing for 20+ years and that is to recycle.

I’m embarrassed to admit this, but I actually didn’t understand how it worked until this past month. I thought that since I didn’t live in one of the communities that tracks my recycling, I couldn’t earn any points. This 1000 points sure would help me make up for lost time!
