My Shopping Trip: Pathmark
This week at Pathmark there is P&G Buy $25 Get $5 Catalina Deal. I had a deal idea posted in the Pathmark and A&P Match Ups for Cheer which had a shelf price of $7.49 – $7.99 but was on sale for $3.99. Plus there are $2/1 Cheer coupons available in the 2/19 Red Plum.
The deal is working on shelf pricing so I only needed to buy 4. Here is what I scored:

- Tax: $1.12
Paid out of pocket: $9.08
Received: $5 Catalina

- Added $150 to grocery envelope on 2/17
- -$10 from shopping trip on 2/18
- -$20.53 from shopping trip on 2/19
- Total in envelope as of 2/19 $662.09
- -$4.84 from shopping trip on 2/19
- $7 bought newspapers
- Total in envelope as of 2/19 $650.25
- -$9.08 from shopping trip on 2/20
- Total in envelope as of 2/20 $641.17
- -$9.08 from shopping trip on 2/21
- Total in envelope as of 2/21 $632.09
A chunk of this grocery money is going to go to my son. He is going shopping for groceries at Krogers while he is at school. Something tells me he won’t be using coupons so who knows how much he will spend. But, that is the benefit of having that extra money in my grocery budget!

Is Cheer a good laundry detergent? I usually use Gain or Tide…is it comparable to those?
cheer dark is great for dark color clothes. haven’t tried regular cheer.
My Pathmark has buy $25 of P&G get a $10 amazon Gift card. Does anyone know if this is also on shelf price?
I just came in about an hour ago from Pathmark & yes it is. I bought 4 Cheer Detergents & I received a catalina form that states I earned a $10 Amazon Gift card….lol Yayyy thats free detergent after gift card!!!!!!
Awesome! I did that deal twice. I also scored some L’Oreal kids shampoo. It was marked down to $1.69 and I used the $.75/1 coupons out of the red plum from sunday. $.19 for shampoo is always good.
My pathmark was all out. Does anyone know how long the Catalina is going on?
or is this deal going to be somewhere else next week, like A&P. They usually switch weeks on these deals.

I called ahead and asked customer service at the Edison, NJ Pathmark to save four bottles for me and lucky I did because after picking up my 4 at customer service I looked at the shelf and it was bare!
I did this deal on Monday and received the $5 cat PLUS extra 5% from coupon on the front of the flyer because I shopped on Monday.
