My Shopping Trip: Target

Did you get your super cheap Alexia Fries yet?  I sure did.  We LOVE Sweet Potato Fries in this house so I hopped on this deal pretty quick.

And, since I didn’t shop at ShopRite this week, I ran in last night to use my $5 Purina Catalina before it expired.  I didn’t put that in the picture but I’ll list it in the transactions below.  I’ve been doing the same transaction every week while I use up the Purina Catalinas.

My grocery budget envelope is getting big again however this week I plan on buying a lot of chicken at ShopRite, plus, I’ll be heading to the Farmer’s Market.  So, I have a lot of non coupon purchases planned for this week which usually takes a big chunk out of the budget!

  • 6 Alexia Sweet Potato Fries $3.09
  • 1 IAMS Dog Foods Trial Size $3.00
  • 2 Market Pantry Mac & Cheese $0.67
  • 2 Market Pantry Paper Towels $0.99

Coupons Used:

Total Paid out of pocket: $3.46

  • 2 Purina T-Bonz Dog Treats $3.29

Coupons Used:

  • -(1)$1.50/2 Purina Dog Snacks Coupon
  • Tax: $0.46
  • -$5 Purina Catalina

Total Paid out of pocket: $0.54

  • $2.12 for shopping trip on 1/18
  • Total in envelope as of 1/18: $412.32
  • Added $150 to grocery envelope on 1/20
  • -$23.24 spent at the Farmers Market
  • -$12 on various quick trips to the stores during the week
  • -$9 spent on Newspapers
  • $28.58 for shopping trip 1/29
  • Total in envelope as of 1/29: $489.50
  • -$1.58 for the shopping trip on 1/30
  • Total in envelope as of 1/30: $487.92
  • -$0 for the shopping trip on 1/31
  • -$2.02 for the shopping trip on 2/1
  • Total in envelope as of 2/1: $485.90
  • Added $150 to grocery envelope on 2/3
  • -$4 for the shopping trip on 2/4
  • -$8 spent on Newspapers
  • Total in envelope as of 2/5: $623.90
