I am all over this, with 2 boys at home who could eat an entire box of cereal in one day (not to mention a gallon of milk every 2 days) this is a great deal for oudr family! Thank you, Cindy!

Does anyone have trouble trying to use these coupons? My stores keep saying that they are missing part of the barcode…

Ugh!!! I think you/they may be right. I just printed all of the various cereal coupons I was allowed and it does appear that part of the bar code may be missing on these. Came out the same on both SmartSource and coupons.com. I hope it isn’t true — don’t have any prints left now.

Wow- I need to start reading the comments BEFORE I print. It does look like the bar code is missing parts. DRAT!! I’m sure ShopRite will refuse these like they do many pdf’s. Ugh…

The coupons are not missing anything, that’s what the new barcodes look like. If your storee hasn’t updated their system yet, then these coupons have to be put in manually.

That is correct. The coupons are not missing barcodes, it is simply the new barcode, which is one long barcode. Many places still have not updated their machines to accept these. In that case, stand your ground, as you will probably be automatically accused of coupon fraud. Fun fun.

I had a problem with a whole pile of my coupons last week. They said there is suppose to be a YELLOW line of dots, or some nonesense. But since I don’t print in color, the dots didn’t come out. I will try again this week but after that I don’t know what will happen if I can’t use my internet coupons!
Maybe they will have it all straigtened out by the time I go this weekend. (I can hope!)

Has anyone figured out how to tell if a coupon will double with the new barcode?

Karen February 3, 2012 at 8:38 am

I googled the gs1 bar codeing and it shows you what the dnd looks like. It is a several thin lines at the very end of the code, easy to spot.

The first link is missing the “h” in Http and that is why it is not working if you copy the link location into word and then paste it into your browser it will work just fine! ;o)

So far all of the coupons that I have used with the new barcodes have all doubled without a problem…..My ShopRite updaated their systems though so the cashiers aren’t manually putting them in( I’m not sure if that affects it though)…..

And if you live in PA, a Free Milk catalina is worth a lot!

Is the milk cat only @ shoprite?

Found more coupons on Couponnetwork.com Also at the top of the screen there is a banner add for cherrios. If you watch a short video they increase the value of one coupon.

Don’t watch the video…..The coupon is for $0.80/1 box if you watch the video it becomes $1.10/1 box…..If your store fully doubles then print the $0.80/1 coupon(making it $1.60/1 box)….if your store doesn’t fully double then watch the video because then you get the extra $0.10…Hope that doesn’t confuse you

Catalina Deal starts Sunday 2/5

No, the barcode isn’t missing. The new barcodes don’t look like the ones we’re used to. Some stores aren’t yet able to scan them, but if you ask your cashier to call over their supervisor, that person should know about the new barcodes and *should* be able to put the coupon in by hand.
Most of the coupons in my RP insert this past week only have the new barcode as well.

Marie February 1, 2012 at 10:52 am

Thanks I’ll give it a try. The ones I printed had a very short second line on the new bar code (about half a inch) which looked off to me.

The first link for the PB Cheerios is coming up as $1 off and I’d actually prefer the .75 because my store fully doubles! What zip codes are you all using??

Reply

Betsy February 1, 2012 at 11:29 am

Try the second link for the PB Cheerios. That one comes up as $.75 off

There are also other coupons on bettycrocker.com. The ones posted here are a better value but if you don’t have multiple computers these can be used too.

I’m using these at Acme this week. If you buy 5 and your store fully doubles it comes out to .38 cents per box!

Does anyone know which Shoprites near Freehold are okay with the new bar code? Freehold gives me trouble every single time, they always tell me that half the bar code is missing. They will usually enter it manually but not before giving me major side eye and getting dirty looks from all in line behind me. It is not even worth the trouble anymore.

I’m in the same boat as Joan, my store in Poughkeepsie is ridiculous. I feel like a criminal every time I go shopping. :-( I’m getting ready to just switch to Stop and Shop…..

Amy February 1, 2012 at 11:23 pm

We must shop at the same Shop Rite in Poughkeepsie. When my Muir Glen coupons beeped a couple of weeks ago, they called over a manager and was basically accused of coupon fraud! I was so mad!!!

How many times can u buy 3 cereals to get the free milk?

Reply

Christine R February 2, 2012 at 10:10 pm

Jen, it’s usually one offer per PP card…which is why the last time they had this deal I went with my mom’s card, my card and even got a separate card for my husband!

Reply

Donna February 11, 2012 at 12:29 pm

I’ve done this deal three times this week off the same price plus card. I pay for the milk in the second transaction so I get 3 boxes of cereal and a gallon of milk for $2.97.

The Cherry Hill, NJ Shoprite has not yet corrected their system to have these coupons scan correctly. The cashier had to manually enter each coupon, but she was very kind about it and did not give me any hassle. I never shop at the Berlin, NJ Shoprite anymore because they are ridiculous with the internet coupons that they will/will not accept. Plus, their customer service people are nasty!!! especially if you need a raincheck or a Catalina does not print.
