Cathy had a great shopping trip to ShopRite! She took advantage of the $10 for 10 deal going on! Here is what she had to say:

Today I had an amazing shopping trip @ ShopRite.  Not only did I save alot of money, it was my first time I shopped by myself and I did not panic or break out in a sweat when there was a problem with my catalina not printing. As time goes on and I get more confident in what I have learned from all you have taught, I will be a pro when something doesn’t work as planned. I did 4 transactions but not all at in one trip.  I did two, and brought those out to the car.  Then went back in a shopped for my last two transactions.

Thanks =)
I decided a few weeks ago that I was either going to “roll” my cats on items that I need or use them to buy items that I don’t usually have coupons for such as meat and produce.

I bought 4 of the pampers wipes yesterday but only received $4 in catalinas. Was I supposed to get 2 $4 catalinas? If so, where can I call to correct this? Thanks!

I also only received 1 $4.00 catalina, but I went to customer service and they printed me a second one because they couldn’t tell by reading the AD if it should have given me 1 or 2 catalinas.
I just read the AD again, and am not sure… On the top it says limit 1, but I thought that was for the USB charger because the pampers ad says limit 4 per variety.

I’m glad you went to customer service on that. You are right. Since the ad states, limit 4 per variety, there is nothing to indicate that the Catalina will only work on one set.

It’s from the 1/29 circular. It didn’t expire on 1/29.

I had a fun experience at well on Sunday between 2 different Shop Rite’s. In total, I was able to purchase 160 beverages for a total OOP $21.20 ($10.70 OOP transaction #1, $.70 OOP for next 15 transactions). I still have a $10 catalina I’m going to use to purchase some nice steaks.

I went after work on Sunday and everything was wiped out! I understand rolling this and all, but I would have rolled it over the week so others could have a chance as well…now I have to keep going back to see if any come in since I need them to finish out the Oatmeal SavingStar deal. My hopes aren’t high though cause usually once they get wiped out like that they don’t restock during the sale (happened with the toilet paper over the summer, the gravy & the Pantene). Next to Honest Tea this is my favorite and I drink it at work.

Reply

Danielle February 13, 2012 at 8:17 pm

My shoprite in Somers Point NJ uses the cat right after it printed. So I only paid taxes for each order. How awesome is that!
