  • This is back, but has not reset for me. Show print limit reached

  • Same for me (print limit reached). And I cleared my cookies.

    • Hmm, that’s strange. I was able to print it again this morning. I see they are resetting even more coupons so maybe it’s getting caught in between things.

  • yay! Thanks CINDY
    MMMmmmmmmwauh! That’s for u! lol

I didn’t get a chance to get the first round. Looks like the Snapple reset, also

  • I think it might pop back later today. My computer says there should be (9) beverage coupons, but when I click on that category it only shows 8. I hope it comes back!!!

  • I don’t know about others but these instant savings deals sometimes don’t work for me and it makes me hesitate about trying them. When the total goes above the amount states it takes off the instant savings but when the total drops below with coupons it adds the instant savings BACK ON.

    • Okay. S&S adds the discount back on if you use coupons. Don’t accept that. Check your receipt. The add says buy X amt and get Y discount. It never mentions that you can’t use coupons, so don’t let them run that number on you. Insist you get your money.

When I do these, I don’t buy anything else, this way I can see quickly if the additional promo discount actually came off. This is harder to do with a bigger bill. My S&S’s make a big stink about giving the discount, but if you tell them the add doesn’t mention coupons, they do give it to you. How many people walk out of the store and don’t notice? How many people accept what they say and leave? They make a fortune on this. The cash register will show the discount, but as soon as one coupon is scanned, it adds the promo discount right back on.

S&S is so sneaky, I try not to shop there. That, and they are pricey.

  • Question: where in the Stop and Shop flyer does it say they have a buy $20 worth of participating products and save instant $7?………..I live in the Boston area and I dont see that in my flyer although i do see the Welch fruit fizle for 2@6 but not the buy $20 save $7….please point me in the right direction as I dont want to end up with a problem at the store. thanks

    • Instant savings are always listed on the back page of the weekly ad. HTH!

      • Thanks Laura……………So even if it does not state buy $20 worth get 7 instant savings in the flyer its just SAFE to ASSUME its that way? am confused as I’ve been scanning the back of the page where the welch fizzle is for a while and dont see it mention anything about buy $20 save $7. I do however see some group food pics of various products….so does that mean it is “always” buy $20 save $7 if they are in the back of the ad?

        • It could be regional. If you have your flyer, keep your flyer closed with the front page facing you. Now flip the whole thing over to view the very last page of the flyer. Mine is page 10 CLF. At the top of this page there is a red banner with large letters and says “$7.00 OFF INstantly When you buy $20.00 worth of participating products below in a single transaction with your Stop & Shop card between 1/27 – 2/2/2012.” Then it says “Game Day Savings”. Our ads may be different. Unfortunately in this case it is not safe to assume. If it is not in your flyer call your local Stop & Shop to see if they are participating in this promotion. A good line is always ” A friend told me about this sale at her store, are you having it here?” Good LucK!

          • mine isnt mine is double gas rewards…yuck

          • Thanks so much for breaking it down Laura :) …..My page does say game day savings BUT mine is the 2X gas points…..whew its a good thing i didn’t go to the store and make a fool out of myself demanding my $7 instant savings LOL……….So i guess you are correct where its regional as my code at the back of the page is COL:C10

  • It Says my print limit has been reached. Will try again later.

  • Same here, still says my print limit has been reached.

  • I tried printing these coupons again for the Welch’s Fruit Fizz and it tells me print limit reached…..

  • My Stop & Shop in RI and southern CT unfortunately does not have the instant savings program. We have the gas points program.

  • I don’t understand how you can say use 7 Welch’s coupons when the website only lets you print 2?

    • Well, this is the second round of prints so, if you printed some before on a couple of computers and you printed some now on a couple of computers, then that totals 8. Some people have several computers in their house they can print from. However, I did have it listed at the bottom as follows: *Note: This will only work if you can print enough coupons

  • UGGGGG, I just printed and cut out all these coups for the juice and knorr, and just found out Stop and Shop does not participate in instant savings anymore in CT! grrrrr!

  • FYI folks, I was just at S&S (Madison, NJ), the $7 did not come off (the Welch’s Fizz and Knorr Sides deal). The $7 showed up on the monitor but disappeared after he scanned the coupons. I went to the customer service desk to inquire and was directed to a sign that says, something like, for this deal the total must be “$20 after all discounts and coupons”. So the deal we have envisioned would not work. Just thought you’d want to know before print all these coupons and rush over there . . .

  • Be, I did the deal and the discount disappeared as well, even though I had other items in my transaction. When I questioned the CS, they stated it was after coupons…I then questioned them as to WHERE it said that on the circular or in the store. they couldn’t find that stipulation anywhere in print to show me. I told them it was rather unfair to advertise a deal and then just because I took the time and effort to get coupons that I should not be able to participate, especially given they could not show me where that ‘requirement’ was printed. They gave me my $7. back, but the money is not the point. I have never had discounts put BACK ON my bill because I use coupons (even with other S&S deals)….that is really unfair of the stores to say if you use coupons, the sale doesnt apply…I think I might have to call a corporate office or something…

  • To be fair, she offered to give me the $7 before I had to make a stink. She was nice about it, but she did tell me that the coupons were the reason the $7 disappeared and pointed to the sign (at the Customer Service Desk – like we visit there before we pay, right?). I also asked her if that is always the case with these types of promotions and she said “no, sometimes it is, sometimes it isn’t”. Anyway, I am sure that’s why she gave me a refund – because the ad does not say “after discounts and coupons” and others must have made a stink before me. S&S has always been very good in my experience, so I can’t really complain.

  • So I just did this deal and it did not work…. I guess we have that gar rewards thing…. but my question is now am I out my coupons? Even if I go back they wont give me my coupons right?

  • I can only reccommend to everyone not to do this deal. I had all the coupons and ran out the door this afternoon and did not see the comments till now and after I returned from Stop and Shop. I carefully read the flyer and a poster with tear sheet promoting the sale that was by the door I entered and it did not say after all discounts. I made the purchase and I did not get the $7. I approached customer service and they would not budge. They pointed out a small sign they pasted on their desk that said 7 deducted after spending 20 after discounts. How was I supposed to know? I entered the opposite side of the store. DO NOT SHOP AT THE STOP AND SHOP IN BASKING RIDGE, NJ. THEY ARE NOT HONORABLE. The sign stating 20 after discounts should have been posted on their poster display. Now they are going to send in my coupons and collect $14 from the manufactuers.

  • Boo ….. my coupons have not reset since last time. :(

  • I had a problem too at the S&S in Somerset on Route 27. They were very rude about it – the guy kept pointing to the circular and I pointed out that it did not have any stipulation of before or after coupons.

I just called corporate. She told me you can use coupons for the instant savings deal – but if it equals zero, then you cannot use both. I asked her if this is a published policy – she said no. Then I asked her how this can be a policy??? It’s hearsay unless it’s published and in the public view. She said she didn’t disagree with me and would send my comments to the store.

    • I just called the store directly and talked to one of the front end managers. Very nice woman…she told me to come in and they would take care of everything. She told me you can use coupons in conjunction with the deal. She was the total opposite of the staff I encountered in the evening. She said they will honor the prices for me.
