The Purina One $5 off coupon worked for me on the 5.99 dog food at Shoprite in Hudson NY .

Yesterday I signed up on the Mueller’s Pasta site for the .55 cent coupons to use during my weekly ShopRite trip with my friends … yes, this is what we do for fun on Thursday nights. To my disappointment, the cashier identified my Mueller’s coupons as some that had been flagged as counterfeit by their stores and were not honoring. I was SO upset and embarrased. I have never had that happen before. Some people are just giving us, honest couponers, a bad name! I contacted Mueller’s today but haven’t heard back fromo them yet.

    • http://LivingRich Kimberley

Hey, I used the Muellers pasta at big y and at Shoprite. It was not conterfeit. It came from their website. Next time, what helps me is I try to keep it and not cut it or have the original website there with me. Shoprite tried to tell me that Driscolls coupons was not honored because they couldn’t scan it. I told them to punch in the number and it went through, and it came from their website…so it is not counterfeit. I think sometimes that they don’t want to take the time to punch in the numbers…Just a thought. Dont be embarrased, turn the tables on them…If you are confident then they don’t question you.

This was posted by Barilla US facebook page this morning and I wanted to share – Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Check out our Wow Your Sweetheart tab for great tips on how to create a romantic evening at home for your loved one. When you send an e-card invitation, you can enter for a chance to win a romantic dinner cooked by a Barilla chef! And before you go shopping, don’t forget to print our coupon from the “Get Savings” link located inside the app. Buon Appetito! – The coupon that printed was a $1/1 any Barilla product, so the pasta would be free and sauce would be .79 at Shop Rite this week! 🙂

    • Annette

I just printed that coupon and it says that you have to buy any one pasta AND any one sauce – you have to buy both in order to get the discount, so the pasta will not be free and the sauce will not be $1.79.
Still, a good deal to pay $1.78 for both, so I might take advantage. Thank you for sharing.

      • Annette

OOPS, I meant to say that the sauce will not be $0.79 🙂

        • Ashley

Whoops. Good catch, Annette. I clearly read the coupon too fast. I saw the $1/1 on it and stopped there. Sorry about that. lol guess I should stick to focusing on one thing at a time. 🙂

Got 2 Schick Quattro for Women Disposable Razors from Shoprite. I added the ecoupon to my card before I went shopping. However, I do not see it taken off. How do we know if the $2 was taken off or not? Thanks.

    • Matthew

most of the time it will be in bold and will be listed right below the item…NOT in the coupons section. It may say CF for Cellfire or something else for shop rite ecoupon.

      • kristy

Ok…I know why I didn’t get the ecoupon. When I scanned my shoprite club card, it somehow took my pathmark card instead. Now why would it take my pathmark card if it only has 11 numbers instead of 12 for shoprite club card? Guess I’m not getting my $2.

        • Rocky

If you haven’t already opened them, you can return them and then repurchase with the right card. Am not sure why it would ‘take’ your PM card, instead, but, I have heard someone else mention that it happened to them! Hopefully, you didn’t buy a lot of items in that transaction because you would have lost out on all the price plus savings!!

          • kristy

It’s weird how that happened but it took off the for sales items. It’s said value customer. I’m so pissed because I got the 6 boxes of oatmeal too. Now I’m not sure if it will track on my savingstar or not since it’s Pathmark card instead of Shoprite.

            • Rocky

Hmm, I would think if you have your PM card set up in Saving Star, also, that you should get it, anyway. SS is not like just a SR-specific ecoupon, as long as you have all your different store card numbers set up your account, in advance.

  • Taryn

The WW deal was NOT on sticker price at the Somerville Shoprite. It was on the sale price. I bought 6 Smart Ones at $2 each and 4 Jolly Time at $1.50 each and my catalina did not print. The customer service rep gave me a gift card for it though 🙂

  • Liz F

This has happened tome before at ShopRite. If you have several tags on your keyring another tag can be easily read by the register. Then you lose several price plus discounts. Now I always watch when my card is scanned.

has anyone tried to use the other french’s mustard coupons besides the yellow? My shoprite usually doesn’t take anything other than what is actually on sale. My shoprite is in Staten island , Richmond.

    • Rocky

Not from Staten Island, but,I’ve used the dijon one, no problem (along with the electronic one), but, if I recall, the French’s Dijon was on sale at the time. Honestly, something sounds very wrong about a SR not taking a coupon unless the item is on sale. Maybe one of the S.I. folks will weigh in, but, that doesn’t sound….quite right!

  • Dawn

I’m going to try theMeullers tonight. I do want to report that it is a DND5 so the pasta WILL NOT BE FREE PER CINDY’s LIST….I’ll try to remember to repost the outcome when I get home…

    • Rocky

Dawn, FYI: DND5’s DO double , automatically, unless the cashier actually keys something to specifically stop it. It is the DND9’s that don’t double, no matter who does what!

And, many, many people, including myself, have used these coupons for quite a few months, now, and, yes, our pasta was, and, continues to be free, just as Cindy reported.

It seems to be the design of the coupon, itself, that is causing the most problems at the stores for cashiers who question them, but, again, many people at many stores have used them just fine.

      Good luck with yours!
