  • Shari

    Yea !!!!
needed to make a list for my $30 in Purina catalinas
Cindy Great job as alway…..sometimes when I look at the flyer i dont see the Deals you do. Thankyou again and again

  • Mark

Great job and thanks for the matchups Cindy,
I was going to do the Ocean Spray deal but the one on sale is for the 46 oz. Just read the coupon and it states you must buy a 64 oz Ocean Spray Drink to get the free Ocean Spray cherry juice.

    • Cindy

Oh shoot. Okay, thanks. I’ll update that. Always so many sizes to look at each week.

  • Maria

    Thank you VERY much!

  • Betty

    Thank you Cindy!

  • CT Shopper

The Pop Secret program has ended it says….but I never knew there was a Disney movie site like that…cool.

  • I can’t find the coupon for Kozy Shack? The link takes you to the Kozy Shack page. If you see it, please let me know! Thanks!

  • chris

If I buy 6 boxes of cereal in 1 transaction, will 2 milk cats print?

    • Matthew

      No. Do multiple transactions.

    • jeni

no, it doesn’t.. i tried this morning! after 6 cereals scanned and only 1 cat printed out i asked the girl to please take off 3 and put it on my 2nd transaction [which i was doing to use 1 cat for the milk already!], and she didn’t mind. lucky i got someone nice today 🙂

  • frink

Pop Secret 0.50/1 states “this coupon program has ended.”

  • Monique

What’s the deal with the Purina catalina? I don’t see the info

    • Anonymous

The Purina Catalina deal is gone — anyone who did it got $20 in $5 Catalinas to spend on Purina products for each of four weeks. Alas, it’s not available any more!

      • Monique

        Ty

  • Susan

The blue diamond almond breeze coupon wasn’t there when I clicked on the link. Is there a different link? Thank you.

  • Jenny

Emerald Nuts are as low as $.24 each, instead of $.74 Better deal! 🙂
Also, the $1/1 non-FB Rice works coupon link is not working 🙁 I am seriously obsessed with the Sweet Chili ones!

    • RC

emerald nuts have been 1.99 not 1.74 at my store the past few weeks 🙁 i was hoping to be able to get 4 each week because i don’t do multiple trips.

  • ruchi

wouldn;t the emerald nuts come to 24 cents each, if the 75 cents coupon was used?

also, how come the eggland eggs are coming to 49 cents? if the 50 cent doubles, it would still be 99 cents right?

if i am missing something, i want to know…

    thankyou, cindy, always…

    • Anonymous

Some people have a $0.75 coupon

  • Lori

    Anyone ever use shoprite diapers?

    • Palomita

I’d be curious as well 🙂 I’ve used Rite Aid (probably comparable?) and they were decent.

    • Michelle

I’ve tried them in the past when I got them for almost nothing. Not the best diapers, but ok if you’re in a bind or run out of other diapers.

    • Laura D.

It’s been a long time since my kids were in diapers but I thought they were great. They never leaked and all the name brands did. They were also great with preventing diaper rash with sensitive skin kids. It’s worth a try!

    • Julie

Love them! They hold a lot(have used them overnight), have stretchy tabs, are not too stiff and look cute too. Definitely better than most store brands and comparable to Huggies!

    • Katie

They are the only brand that my son doesn’t leak through overnight. He’s now 2 and I use pampers easy ups during the day but always SR brand at night!

    • Stacey

I’ve used them for my daughter. They were fine. Maybe I just got lucky, but I never had much of a problem with any store brand diapers. I always bought what was cheapest at SR & Target. (I did prefer the Target brand over SR).

    • Lady J

no, but i don’t care for shop rite wipes, so I don’t know about the diapers. But there’s quite a few good reviews here. Maybe I’ll have to give them a try.

    • Anonymous

I have used them not bad.. also you should try Stop&Shop brand they have really good sales on them ….

    • Annette

Yes, I used them with my first son….they are okay for emergencies, but not too great for a little boy overnight, or for nap time. For the price, it’s worth grabbing a pack and see how they work for your child, you can always go back and get more if you like them.

    • RC

i haven’t personally tried them but shoprite brand products do come with a satisfaction guarantee, so i bet the diapers would too, if you dont like them call shoprite cs (not the store) and they will send you shoprite coupons for the value of the product.

    • Christina

IMHO, they are the best generic diapers for daytime use. That’s all that we use. For nights, it’s always huggies. Give them a shot. For that price, you can’t beat it.

      • Jennifer

I ran out yesterday morning to get the Shop Rite diapers and they were great. I use Overnights for nighttime anyways, so I wasn’t too concerned about leaking. I am definately heading back later in the week to get at least 4 more packs :0)

    • Kelly M.

I am actually pretty impressed by the shoprite diapers! They are definitely better than any other store brand I have ever tried.

  • asurae

My friend swears by shoprite diapers! She said they do run a little big.

  • melissa

I couldn’t find the kozy shack coupon either on the website

  • Ann

Shoprite Diapers are just fine with me, and this is a GREAT price. I will be buying as many as they have on the shelf!

I bought 20-.75 cents off (will double) Chock full o Nuts coupons on ebay, stocking up on that as well.

    • H

Same here Ann. But they send me one of a different coffee brand that I never seen before… Hopefully the Ocean spray .55 cents that will double for the cramberry juice…

      • H

Great, the sale is only for the original coffee and it was all out. But still have the rest of the week…

    • Loretta

me 2 🙂 i’m hoping they come in by wednesday (when i shop), and I’ve already told my hubby he’ll be making at least 1 trip to the store on his way home to make sure I get all 20 LOL

  • J;)

They are perfect for day time, and I never had any problems with them.
I would not use them at night because only Huggies Overnites work for me.

    • lindsay in pa

Huggies Overnights are the BEST overnight diapers…MUCH better than the Pampers ones!!

      • Jessica

        I agree.

  • carmen

yes i like the shoprite diapers. they r as good as the others lori

  • Palomita

Dumb question, but.. how many times can you do the cereal/cheerios deal? This is going to be great 😀 One time per price plus card per day? TIA!

    • Meli

      Same ?? please

      • Laura D.

It probably will depend on your particular store. My Shoprite will allow me to do it as many times as I like as long as I either split the transactions on one register and use 2 separate price plus cards. Otherwise, I can do one transaction per register with the same price plus card. I can do more than one transaction per register if I do am/pm trips. Also I can go everyday. Some people say with self checkouts you can do as many transactions as you’d like with no problems. I don’t have self checkout available at my store. Go give it a try, Good Luck!!

        • Palomita

I did the cereal deal with my mom this sunday. So as the cashier was ringing up the last cereal box, I entered my shoprite price plus card and the last box never scanned. So my three GM coupons were approved by the front end manager and I got 3 boxes for .43 cents! =X Needless to say I didn’t go to customer service and ask why my milk catalina didn’t print out. Bank error in my favor!!

  • Can you do the three boxes of GM cereal and free milk on different days? My Shoprite is only a three minute ride from my house!

    • corinne

YES YOU CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!my plan is to go every morning after i drop the kids off

    • Laura D.

      YES you can!!!

    • Matthew

Sure!! Worked for me last time around. As long as you have 3 GM cereals. **Tip** DON’T do all the transactions on one day. If you do staggered days, the catalina expirations TYPICALLY change as well.

      • Karen

So angry with the Catalina Network coupons. I printed out all the Cheerios Peanut Butter, Caramel and Frosted Toast Crunch coupons and my Shoprite said invalid bar codes. I wrote to them just now. I was so upset, could have saved so much, but did get 4 milk coupons. I have been doing 2 transactions a day and they keep coming out.

  • jmontalvo213

Cindy, has ShopRite change it’s policy on rain checks??
I went to customer service and requested a rain check for Barrilla pasta sauce which they were out of and they said they are not giving any rain-checks any more that there are only doing substitution?? Is this true??

    • Heather

I just got a raincheck today on Huggies wipes. Maybe they just were not doing it on the sauce? The store frustrates me, they make up the rules as they go along.

      • Laura D.

I got a rain check tonight for the whole grain pasta.

    • payton

I work in customer service for pearlmutter SR and even if we run out of a product and are doing a substitution for a product u can still get a raincheck if u dont want the item were subbing..however not all owners have the same rules

      • jmontalvo213

        Goodmorning,
Thank you for your reply Payton, Laura and Heather. But this is the store in Middletown, NY, which I never had a problem obtaining any rain check before. They just did some type of remodeling and apparently they don’t give out rain-check anymore for any item. They are doing substitution. I just needed to know if they can legally do this?

        Thank you

        • Marie

Hi, I also shop in Middletown sometimes. Is it the store on 211 or Dolson Avenue? I have had to argue with CS in the store on 211 sometimes. Nice thing is that they will sometimes sub a larger item of the same brand for an even better value.

          • melissah

I go the the one on 211- when ive had a product out of stock and they do a substitution, theyve allowed me to use my coupon on the original/out of stock item anyway. they have been pretty good about it. Couple weeks back they didnt have the advertised cuties clementine brand. I bought the substituted item and they said i could use my cuties q anyway.

        • Susan

One of the daytime managers is a creep at this store. I can’t stand him. Have had problems there before. They make up the rules as they go along.

        • Lady J

I wouldn’t think it would be legal. Bait and switch and all.

        • Corinne

          Hi,
I shop at the 211 SR, and I have noticed an increased amount of substitutions, as well, but they said they would still take the coupon for the original item. So, it hasn’t been a huge problem. They’ve also been subbing larger sized items for the sale price from the same brand, so coupons are not a problem. I have never had a problem with their customer service once, and I have had some weird problems, too! The one on Dolson does do rainchecks, though, in case you wanna try that one. I find that one is just a nicer, cleaner store. HTH!

  • J

Am I reading the ad right….buy 4 cases of pepsi and get 2 bags of chips free for $11?

    • Rocky

I think that sale was for this past week. Not the sale that starts on Sun. 2/5.

  • V

for unadvertised deals: don’t forget about the new kikkoman $1 coupons that make the sauce packets free!

    • Cindy

Oh right. What was I thinking lol 🙂

      • Palomita

We have soooo many sauce packets now!!! I ended up getting the kikkoman vinegar this time for .29 cents after coupon. 😉 Might make rice balls. Also says you can add to salads.

    • Tina

they is also a catalina deal to go with the kikkoman marinades advertised on coupon network

  • marie

Hi I just went to Shop Rite today and received a $5 off next purchase catalina but it wasnt tied to any brand. Anyways I was thinking of doing the Gillette Proglide Styler deal but wanted to know if I buy two in two different transactions, will i receive two catalinas?

    • Monique

      What did you buy?

  • V

Hi all. Can I use the “get a free milkbone snack wyb 2 milkbone snacks” coupon AND the $1.50/2 milkbone snacks coupon on 3 products? In theory, I should, since the “Free” coupon is for the 3rd product, and the 1.50$ off 2 is for the first two, but you know how coupon finicky Shoprite gets…

    • Lora

Yes….you can do that. I did that last week and will be doing again this week. The $1.50/2 I think ends today!

      • Lora

And forgot about $1 Cat also when you buy two. Makes is $1.16 each.

  • ashley

Also shoprite has a aveeno moisturizing bar for 2.59. i used 2 aveeno body wash coupons that were 2.00/1 and paid only .59 each for mine.

    • Stacey

When/where is that coupon from? I’d love to use it!
      Thanks!

      • ashley

i got it a maybe two weeks ago smartsource i think.

  • Cathy

    Cindy,
Do you know if the Alpo cat (buy 13 cans get $2 cat) is available w/o 2/5 also?
    TIA

    • 0246

i have this question too. there is a MFR and an eQ for this, so with the cat it works out great.

  • V

Also heads up on the milkbone dog snacks: my SR has a buy 2 get a $1 catalina deal until the 18th, maybe yours does too. Makes it an even better deal

  • Jen

I was wondering if someone could tell me if the Shop Rite in Hamilton, NJ fully doubles? I have an appt. there this week so if it does I was going to stop there since my SR only doubles to a dollar. And with the cereal catalina, can I use the same card twice if I do 2 transactions and get 2 catalinas? And I can’t find the kozy shack coupon either… thanks!!

    • Kristin

I believe they only double up to a dollar.

      • Alice

Hamilton Marketplace fully doubles and so does the one on Route 33.

        • Bernell

yes they do fully double, as well as the one in Pennington NJ, and Ewing, NJ!

        • The one in Hamilton Marketplace does fully double as the one on route 38 ONLY doubles up to $1.00!

  • Anonymous

The Earthbound farm coupon is gone. Thanks for the match ups, Cindy.

  • Matthew

There will be $1/1 Pert Plus tomorrow. If applicable, makes the shampoo only $0.99 each after coupon.

  • Jaime

Has anyone tried the Nature’s Bounty Ubiquinol? I have the manu. coupon & saved the e-coupon. I’m tempted to get it since it’s about $30 for the same bottle at CVS. Just wondering if anyone had bad side effects…

  • Kristen

Was the $5 off Purina One a regional coupon? I can’t find it in my insert.

    • Kris

It was a $5 off a Purina One Beyond – which is different, it’s the one in the yellow bag, not the red bag (of course, my dog eats the purina one, not beyond).

  • tj

I don’t see the quaker coupon in my savingstar account. Is it gone?

    • Stacey

I don’t either. I also can not get the RP coupon to print. So disappointed! 🙁

    • Rocky

If it is the Buy $15 get $5 one, I think you can only get that by going onto the Quaker site, itself (use the link that Cindy provides), and clicking on the appropriate link there. I don’t think it is available by just going into our SS accounts.

      • Julie

Yes, you do have to go to the quaker site. I registered, checked saving star and nothing. Went back to the quaker site and it shows that I have $0.00 towards the offer (which is true as I have not shopped yet).

  • Ashley

The Blue Bunny coupon is only for the Frozen Novelties (ice cream bars)..so won’t be valid for the ice cream cartons. 🙁

    • Cindy

The must have just changed it because as of 2 days ago it was for the cartons of ice cream. Thanks, I’ll update the post.

      • Mark

I just looked at my coupon and it’s for the cartons. I did print it earlier in the week.

    • Rocky

Yes, I believe they change the coupon they offer, monthly, so there was a new one (novelties) beginning on Feb. 1.

  • Lady J

    mullers says nbo q available.

Are we sure on the prices for the cheerios. I went to my store 1t 10:45. The night crew was already taking down the prices for the deals ending today. I checked the price of the cereal, and they were $4-something. Maybe they didn’t put up tomorrow’s prices yet and only took down today’s?

    • Rocky

Wow! Your store starts doing that, that late on Saturdays? Mine starts doing it early in the day and it drives me NUTS! I find I am constantly running to the self-scanner poles (!) to check and make sure I am picking up the right size, etc., in order to get my ‘good deal’ prices!!! Despite the fact, of course, that I anally have all the specifics written down, anyway, on my shopping list!!

      • Laura D.

LOL!! Me too Rocky, it is really annoying not having to price check everything to make sure I won’t have additional problems at the register. I also carry my list with everything written out!

        • Rocky

Chuckle, chuckle! I’m glad I’m not the only one! What makes it more frustrating is when the SR employee, with their plastic bag of tags is, literally, just ahead of me in any given aisle, taking the tags down right in front of my eyes! Makes me want to yell ‘wait, wait, I’m here, wait’… Hahahahah!!!

          • Laura D.

Hahahaha!!!! Very funny! I need to try to get there earlier for the second trip of the week. Lately, it just hasn’t been working out that way for me.

  • For the PopSecret popcorn my 50/2 coupon expiring 03/11/12 says DO NOT DOUBLE at the top will the stores registers automatically double it anyways? Listed above it is showed doubled. Thank you for your help.

  • Lori

Thanks for all the diaper advice!

  • Jill D

    There’s no more Duncan Hines coupons… 🙁

  • Debbie G

just got the hardest time at my local Shop Rite in Toms River. I had 3 GM cereals and she said the coupons.com coupons are not valid, she would not honor them. I even double and triple check that I matched up the cereal to the coupon. I was so frustrated. I told her, you are going to have many upset customers if you do not honor these coupons. I was going to go to customer service but was so upset. I will try again during the week to my “tried and true” Shop Rite. As we Toms River-ians know as the old Shop Rite. !

    • Laura D.

Always ask for the manager. Cashiers like the one you had USUALLY don’t know anything, or just don’t want to deal with coupons. Good Luck with your next store, these should go through with no problems.

    • Dawn K

Debbie, was this the new store on route 37?

      • Lora

I had a problem with two of my GM cereal coupons also. The front end manager said she printed those out too for herself and they didn’t work…said something about invalid code and when that error comes up they’re not allowed to override them. Thankfully I had extra coupons with me and switched them out. She said they weren’t working because they only had one barcode on them.

        • jamie

i had the same issue with all of mine i printed this morning. all of them said error on bar code 🙁 so i didnt buy them 🙁
          ugh! what a bummer.

          • Marjie

I had trouble with the GM Multi Grain Peanut Butter coupons for $.80 off. (I had 2) The manager said they weren’t working, because it was a new coupon format and my ShopRite did not program it in yet. She manually keyed it in and it was not a problem in Branchburg NJ.

          • Jacqueline

With the “new” scan bars that they are using the registers are not accepting them when they scan…the casher MUST put it in by hand. I work for Shoprite and recently all the cashiers were giving a little *talking* too about this. If you have a problem you should go right to customer service before you leave the store so they can correct the problem and the cashier.

            • corinne

what shop-rite do you work the haniesport one will not take them if they don’t scan and they are not allowed to key them in .

              • Ted

That is correct, do all my shopping @ Hainesport and if it doesn’t scan, they will not take it. Funny enough, I’m beginning to find that “some” of their registers take them, while others do not… I’m always trying to remember which ones. I know one of the 20 items or less ones works like a charm… but NEVER use the self-checkout for the new barcodes.

    • Karen L

Debbie, was this the new Shoprite on Rt 37 or the old one on Fischer? Fischer has never given me a problem…

      • Debbie G

Yes Ladies: this is the new SR, I will be headed to the Fisher Blvd. tomorrow!!

        • JT

I had a problem at the “new” Shoprite in TR a couple of weeks ago. I had a lot of printed coupons and the head cashier felt the need to print out the receipt and go through each coupon and check the item off the receipt one by one. Of course all of my coupons were correct. My wife was embarassed and has told me she will only be going to the one on Fischer from now on. I like the amount of stock they have at the new one but they are a pain in the butt.

          • Barbara A

I’ve only been to the new store a couple of times but found them to be very, very nice. I like that they stay open until midnight. Maybe the night time cashiers are nicer than the daytime ones?

    • Pamela

I just had the same problem at the SR here in Mt. Pocono. The Red Plum Dulce de Leche coupons and the Frosted Toast Coupons didn’t work and they refused to manually push through. “It only had one barcode and the computer won’t accept it” was the reasoning. I have to go back tomorrow for the 4 day sale and plan on taking the 3 boxes up to CS to ring them up. Also the Nutella coupons didn’t work although the size and quantity were correct. First time I ever had to not buy items due to the coupon beeping.

      • Michele

        Hi Pamela,
I shop at the same SR as you and i typically go on Wednesday nights with my other couponing friend right after work as the cashiers are always the nicest and most understanding when it comes to couponing. If the coupons doesn’t scan, they just manually enter it, no questions asked.

  • Anna

How far away is the milk catalina expiration date usually?

    • Matthew

4 of mine today say 2/25/2012

  • Ryan P

The Franks Redhot Sweet Chili or Thick Sauce is included in the sale. I got it last week.

  • If you printed the Maggi soup coupon, the only Maggi product I could find at our SR was located with the Goya products across the aisle from the soup. There were two items: chicken or beef boullion.

  • Christina

    Thanks!

  • Lauren

I just recieved my email with the coupon for the 55/1 Muellers pasta. When I click print it asks how many copies I want to print out. Does that mean I can print out a bunch or is that considered coupon fraud?????

    • Jenilee

The 2 ShopRites near me won’t even take them Lauren because you can print as many as you want.

    • Sarah

Just check the barcodes on them to make sure they are different. i printed out multiple of the helluva good cheese coupons last week, didn’t check them. and they were all the same, but the site let me continue to print them- so i thought they were going to be different. so I was accused of copying the coupons! grrrrr

    • Rose

I printed quite a few of these when they had them on sale a few weeks back & didnt have any isse with using them. they scanned and went right thru.

    • Renee

Just be careful because I went to use them a few weeks back and the manager said that they received an e-mail stating that they are fraud coupons and not to accept them. They now have that note at all registers to not accept that coupon.

  • Tracey

    The Lactaid coupon is gone

  • Ashley

  • Allison

Has anyone used the $1 Snapple 6 pack coupon? It says redeem at Walmart, so I just wanted to make sure it can be used at Shop Rite too. Thanks!

    • Lora

Went today. The coupon is for the glass bottles and the plastic bottles are the ones on sale:(

  • Alie

    Went to SR this morning:
Perdue chicken nuggets on sale for $1.99 are select ones (regular nuggets and dino nuggets were marked) not whole grain so the printable coupon does not apply.
Yoplait lactose free yogurt are 10/$6.00 so with the $.30 printable coupon doubled they are free!

Does anyone know if there was a Digiorno catalina for last week? I thought I heard about one. Also, when was the catalina for the kikkoman sauces? I bought 2 teriyaki glaze and didn’t get a cat 🙁
And I don’t see the Dole and Starkist catalinas in the matchups either, is it because they’re not on sale?
    Thanks!

  • RC

does anyone know if you can redeem more than one free milk catalina in a transaction?
    Thanks!

    • Laura D.

You should be able to without any problems. Unless your particular Shoprite is one of the stores that have a super strict coupon policy.

  • Jeff

I also had a problem with the GM cereal coupons…the 80 cent ones of the peanut butter cheerios wouldn’t scan in the Brookfield, CT store. The manager came over & wouldn’t accept them. I had her void off the cereals and then I was a little mad so I didn’t mention to the cashier that she shouldn’t have given me the free milk catalina which had already printed. 😉

    • Alie

They didn’t scan either at my store, but the cashier called over the manager. She took them away, came back, and said they were valid so the cashier did a manual entry on them. They mentioned it was bc it was the newer coupons without the traditional barcode.

      • Anonymous

I had the same problem with the Cheerios peanut butter. The guy looked irritated when he was overriding the coupon and was mumbling something . Then I realized he only put in $0.08 and not $0.80. He left and took my coupon and didn’t give it back to the cashier.

      • Ashley R

I also had a hard time with them, i left a bit upset because the Guy ( i dont know his position there) but had the card to override the transactions or things he told me that generally those $.80 coupons printed from the internet can be fraudulent, and that their rule is if it doesnt scan they cannot accept it.. apparently the store can refuse to accept coupons when they want. I asked the guy if it was because of the bar code (he didnt know what i was talking about – if their scanners scan both types of bar codes) and then it all clicked (maybe) and he just said YES yes they are all up to date. -_- i was so excited to get more milk for my little boy. (and cereal for us) lol.. im just hoping my other store will accept them. We’ll see. (this was in Lyndhurst BTW.

        • aimee

The dulce de leche q’s scanned smoothly for me. There’s a $0.75 PB q from smartsource you can use too. It’s the $0.80 q from coupon network that’s not scanning. I wish I had just used that instead.

          • Amy

I had an issue with the Shoprite in Marlboro – the $0.80 coupon wouldn’t scan there either and they refused to accept it…wonder if it’s worth emailing Shoprite…

  • Anonymous

The Scotch Brite coupons are not in my 1/8 SS. I’m guessing that it’s a regional coupon. I’m in Sussex County, NJ.

  • Colleen

Newburgh, NY SR would not accept GM cereal coupons either

  • Anonymous

The scotch brite coupon is not in the 1/8 ss. Must be a regional coupon. I’m in sussex county, nj

  • Laura D.

WOW ………. so sorry to hear so many of you are having problems with the GM coupons. I have not tried them yet, keeping my fingers crossed. :/

    • Anonymous

The dulce de leche went smoothly but the peanut butter one was a mess. The register was saying “barcode error”. So if you’re planning to get the PB ones, maybe it’s best to buy them when you have the time to discuss the coupon with the manager and/or cashier.

  • chris

    Thanks Cindy!

  • Matthew

GM coupons didn’t scan but the cash register woman entered manually no problem.

  • Kristy

Big disappointment at my SR in Paramus, NJ. None of the cereals except for plain cheerios, it seems is part of the $2.49 sale. PB Cheerios are $4.59! Most other sale items are more than listed here now, too. They must have changed all of their pricing for Bergen or North Bergen County. I was so upset. It’s almost not worth all the trouble now because I go there and only use half of my coupons because the savings isn’t very good. Also, still no full coupon inserts in my Bergen record. I keep buying the NY Post now.

    • Cindy

Are you sure? I just looked at your circular online and the PB Cheerios are showing up at $2.49. I would take your circular and your boxes of cereals up to customer service if they are priced wrong. It’s stated right in the circular that they are part of the sale.

      • jamie

i just left the paramus store and they didnt honor the PB Q’s 🙁 so i didnt take them – error on code, but in the isle they are NOT marked, only the dulce are…. in the back of the isle they have them all there marked right.
also on the receipt it comes up right $41.9 then $1.70 comes off = $2.49….
        hope this helps.
        thanks
        jamie

        • Laura D.

Paramus Customer Service is great. You “HAVE” to bring your sales ad and boxes and coupons up to the customer service desk. It sounds like the sales price for the 11.3 oz box of Peanut Butter Multigrain Cheerios was not put into the computer system there. This has happened before at that store but it is rare. If the person who you get at CS isn’t qualified to answer your question, ask to speak to the “manager on duty”.

I plan on going to this store tomorrow. This deal should be smooth sailing there.

          • Kate R.

I really dislike the Paramus SR. Although it’s small, I go to the one in New Milford, which is good because it’s closer to my house and I don’t have to go anywhere near Route 4. 🙂

I wasn’t aware that there were a number of LRWC readers near Paramus. I’m trying to put a coupon swap group together–I’m in River Edge. Would anyone near Paramus be interested?

Also, has anyone done the Smart Ones deal? Can I get more than one catalina?

            • Kristy

Kate, I would be interested in a swap group! I’m in Maywood. 🙂

              • Kate R.

okay, great! Email me at Lollypop0189@gmail.com and we can start to set something up 🙂

                • Laura D.

I would be interested too Kate R. I’ll email you!

            • Suehaidi

Kate im in teaneck and would love to swap.

        • Cindy

Your store must not have updated their registers for the new barcode. They have to type in the barcode since they can not scan it.

          • Laura D.

I went to the West Milford store tonight and tries to use the $0.80 GM coupons. They came up with an “error on coupon” code. There was a great staff there tonight and it was very slow when I went. The front end manager (who is great with the coupons) looked up the code in the book, manually entered the code into the register, then scanned the coupon and it wouldn’t scan. I was told they can no longer “override” the system and just take off the amount. The coupon must scan after manually entering the coupon code.
So I guess my big question is …… is that a sign of a non updated system? Or is that a problem with the coupon? Let’s hope this doesn’t continue …… :/

            • Anonymous

the .80 PB didn’t scan at Shoprite in Bordentown either, however the manager was well aware of the situation and manually entered it. She said it was a problem with the way the coupon was printing.

        • Kristy

I didn’t have a circular on me and was in a rush, but when I was at the back, I didn’t see the PB one on the display. May have missed it. However, when I got home later I saw the circular online where it did say it was included so I’ll be going back. I suppose I should print the lower value coupons, too in case they don’t take the .80/1. CS is usually pretty good, but I just didn’t have the time to check anything other than the actual aisle. Thanks for the info, though! I’ll be back today.

    • Laura D.

Bummer!!! I was counting on Paramus SR to have it in stock. Did they have the Nautre’s Bounty Fish Oil and other vitamins in stock? I shop there when I’m in Bergen County. My local Shoprite in WM NEVER has the health supplements in stock.

I just checked my sales flyer, the 11.3 oz Peanut Butter Multigrain Cheerios is listed on the first page. I do matchups for my parents using the Paramus SR sales flyer all the time and ours are always the same except I don’t have liquor.

Usually that store is always pretty good with labeling the sales items. Did you happen to price check the box? If it is the 11.3 oz box customer service should honor it if it is shown in your sales flyer. Double check it. Hopefully it was a labeling error on their part.

Correction received $2.00 from Your Bucks program and $4 from their other program I am signed up for: FamilyShoprite at shoprite.com\family to earn bonus points which are redeemable for certain products or money towards next shopping order. Place money on shoprite plus card and it automatically comes off next shopping order. I just received $4.

    • Victoria

I signed up and still have not received my “Your Bucks”. How long does it take? It’s been a week.

      • Rocky

After signing up, I think I didn’t get my $2 Your Bucks sign-up bonus until my second or third order in the store. It does say something like ‘the next time you shop’, but, in reality, it was 2 or 3 visits later!

On another note, I LOVE, love, love the SR Family Rewards program! There are so many manufacturers that take part in it that all you really have to do is, well, shop, and you earn points!

  • erica

I just came back from SR (Garnerville, NY) and the GM coupons wouldnt scan. they said there was a problem with the barcode. Even the manager came over and tried to put them through and they said they couldn’t except them. 🙁

  • Nicole

Just bought 10 smart ones deserts at $2.44 shelf price and no Catalina 🙁 I know the machine was working bc I got other coupons.

    • Dijah4

The Smart One’s catalina deal doesn’t start until tomorrow.

      • Claire

I didn’t get a catalina with the 10 smart ones I bought at $1.77 each but the guy in front of me did so the cat must be working today.

        • Anonymous

i did the 1.77 dessert smart ones yesterday. bought 10.. 17.70 or 24.40 shelf price. did not get a cat either. went to customer service and they said it goes by sale price Not shelf price. So i got my money back

  • Tab

I got a $1 coupon off of any size Purina Dry Cat Food today and the food is on sale for $5.99 so you could get one bag for free if you have a $5 catalina for Purina this week.

  • Matthew

Anyone use the pert plus coupon from today’s insert? GO GIANTS!!!!!!!”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Laura D.

I had emailed Shoprite and suggested that they should have a place on their website to input our price plus card number so we could see how much money we have saved to date. I had told them I had heard about it from other people and what a great feature it was.

I just got a reply and they asked me which stores do I visit and they would “turn on this feature”. I’m so psyched! I can’t wait! YAY 🙂

I asked for the West Milford, NJ & Paramus NJ stores.

    • Rocky

Oooh, thanks for sharing this tidbit, Laura! Once they turn it on, how will you access the info, do you know? Is there an option on the toolbar, or something?

      • Laura D.

This is the email they sent to me:

Thank you for emailing ShopRite. We appreciate the opportunity to respond. Please get back to us with the store location that does not offer this feature and we will be more than happy to request that this feature is turned on. In addition, we have some future enhancements for the website and I will ask that they include this as well.

        Sincerely,

        Charmaine H.
        Customer Care Supervisor

I am guessing once the feature is turned on, all customers at the two stores I requested will now have the total year to date savings at the bottom of their receipts. I was not expecting that at all. So I “think” if you go into your Shoprite account and email them stating it would be great for your store to have this “feature turned on” you may also get a reply email. I was so impressed by everyone’s savings the end of last year I figured a suggestion email couldn’t hurt. Now I’m keeping my fingers crossed that these stores will follow through and turn on this feature.

        • Rocky

Excellent info, Laura, thanks, SO VERY much for being so proactive, and, for letting us all know! I will send an email asking for the same for a few of the NW NJ stores that my family, friends and I shop at: Rockaway, Wharton and Parsippany. I’ll report on what I hear back from them! Woohoo!

        • karin

I shop at the west milford shoprite, so I thank you very much for persuing this. I called the coorporate number at the end of last year, but wasn’t given this offer. I would love to have this tally through the year. Although, I am now using Cindys Chart so I wonder if I can figure out there also. Thanks again

  • Personsayshi

So, can you mix cereal flavors and still get the milk Catalina? I’m just kinda new to this, don’t know if this is a stupid question…

    • ashley

Yes I boughta fiber one, a frosted golden graham and a lucky charm and still got the catalina for the free milk

      • personsayshi

        thanks 🙂

  • Barbara

Can someone please explain the Saving Star?? Do we have to pay for these coupons? I’m a newbie and have a lot to learn! 🙂 This is the best site I have seen.
Thank you so Much Cindy 🙂

    • Rocky

Hi, Barbara, welcome! You will find there are a great bunch of folks on this site who will help you understand things. Regularly reading posts on different threads (blog posts) will also give you a lot more information, plus, of course, Cindy has lots of info under the Beginner’s tab, above.

Saving Star is like an online version of mail-in-rebates (aka MIR). When you set up an account with them (free), you input your loyalty store card numbers for the stores you frequent. Make sure to enter all of them (that are in the Saving Star system) because you never know where you will buy something from, but, the system will keep track of it for you.

You can then choose the products/offers you think you will use and you click on those offers to ‘activate’ them. Don’t wait to activate something until ‘later’ because some of the items have limits (just like printable coupons) and the offers might not be available for long. Once you activate it, though, you have until the expiration date to buy it/them even if the offer was withdrawn for others.

When you buy one of your activated offers it takes 2-3 days (on average) for that info to flow from the store to the SS system. They usually send you an email telling you you have earned your rebate for that item. Next time you go into your online account, you will see the total amount earned in the upper right corner. Once you earn $5 worth of rebates, you then, online, tell them how you want to be paid. You can choose a check that is mailed to you, or, can have it transferred into your PayPal account, if you have one. I recently read a response by Cindy that you can also choose to donate it. You would have to check SS to find out what those options are because that, I’m not familiar with.

All in all, I think it’s a great service because the SS offers ‘stack’ (can be used on top of) with paper coupons and ecoupons, providing you with even more savings! Plus, of course, you don’t have to use a stamp!! Just remember that these savings do not get deducted off your receipt, the same way a coupon does. The amount just builds up in your account until you have at least the minimum ($5) for them to pay it out to you.

BTW, the more you are on this site, the more you will enjoy it!! Good luck!

      • Barbara

Wow, Thank you so much for explaining that to me Rocky. I have learned soooo much from this site already. I have been to so many other sites & they are so confusing that I just give up. A friend told me about this site two weeks ago and I am hooked on LRWC!! Everyone is super friendly. And everything is so easy to follow.
        This site Rocks!! 🙂
        Have a great day

        • Rocky

You are quite welcome! BTW, because I was curious about the donation aspect, I checked the SS site to see their latest payout info and here is an update: Instead of a check actually mailed to you, that choice is a bank deposit. Then, the other options are: a PayPal deposit, or, an amazon.com gift card, or, a donation to americanforests.org.

          Enjoy!

          • Barbara

I am going to check that out tonight. I think I should have over $5.00 so i’s going to play with it 🙂

            Thanx again.

  • Victoria

Has ANYONE had “any” success with the Dulce or PB Cheerios and Frosted Toast Crunch coupons printed from the smartsource or coupon.com? I would be going to the Hamilton, NJ store…I might not now that everyone has been so unlucky!

    • Amira

Yes, Victoria. I did. I bought 3 Dulce Cheerios on sale for $2.49 and used 3 $0.75/1 making each box $0.99. When you buy 3 a catalina for Milk (up to $4.50 value) printed out. Actually visited 2 stores – Bayville and Toms Rover Rt 37 today during my shopping and it worked both times.

    • Anonymous

The dulche de leche ( from SS) scanned smoothly but the PB $0.80 q ( coupon network)doesn’t scan so if you have the $0.75 from smart source, that probably would scan.I used the $0.80 and didn’t work.

    • Matthew

works fine. Just have to have a good cashier that knows what he/she is doing! Aka enter manually.

      • brittany

Matthew, did yours double after your cashier entered it manually?

        • Kim

Mine doubled after the manager entered it. It automatically doubled.

          • Christina B

Matthew, the .80 for PB cheerios worked? or are you talking about another one? Even when entered manually it wouldn’t take it. They wouldn’t do a manager override because then they do not get reimbursed for it.

    • Anonymous

Go to Bordentown, the .75 q’s scan fine and the .80 q didn’t scan, but they accepted it.

  • RC

The cereal IPQs printed from couponnetwork.com bring up a “barcode error” message at my SR. The other cereal IPQs, which I printed from either smartsource.com or coupons.com, took a while to scan but went through.
Looks like I’m not alone as there are a # of posts re- this issue. Most SR stores don’t accept a coupon if it doesn’t scan so that sucks!

Thanks CINDY for the SR matchups 🙂

    • Kim

Mine did the same thing (had an error) but the manager came over and put it in manually. It also doubled the 80 cents. The manager at my store is very fair though … he said “well there’s nothing on there that says don’t double so I’ll just go ahead and double it.”

  • Anonymous

The dulce de leche cheerios wo’t go through shoprites computer by scanning so they had to do it manually. Thereforr my coupon did not double. You need to coordinate with shoprite.

  • brittany

did anyone have luck with the .75 GM peanut butter coupons from SS? May just print those instead of dealing with the headache of the .80 ones

    • Maria

I think all GM printable coupon has problem in shoprite I use the .75 yesterday it says error I already email coupon.com bec. Since they change the barcode were having trouble using it.

  • Maria

My cereal coupon had to be punched in manually which resulted on the coupon not doubling. They said that their system is having a hard time recognizing the new barcode. you need to coordinate with SR. By the way I go to the SR in Bayonne, NJ

  • Christina

Same here with new shoprite on 37 in toms river. Not very coupon friendly! I do 4 transactions with 4 like coupons like I have always done and was told and was told I gave to go to my car after first transaction to unliad then come back in! I asked if they can hold my stuff for when I come back in and they wouldn’t!!!! They put items back on shelf! I complained to customer service (she couldn’t understand why they would do this — u are allowed 4 transactions) but it happens whenever I go. I woul rather drive to Manchester then deal with new shoprite. I find fisher to be way too crowded.

    • Barbara

Manchester is the best store for couponing.
I am just down the street from the Rt 37 store but really hate going. I will stick with my ride to Manchester. 🙂

  • frink

The Chock Full of Nuts coffee is on sale for 2.49 with card, and it is ‘limit 4 per variety.’ So just to confirm, if i go once and buy 4 Regular blend varieties, I can’t go a second time and buy 4 of the same, right? My card will not take off the discount..? Thx.

    • H

Frink. Can’t the only one that is on sale is the regular blend. Sorry I tried yesterday and I purchase the Colombian and it came up $5.49 I asked the manager and she confirm is only regular blend. Yes it will give you the discount is the coupons that they are regulating to 4 per transaction.!!! Good luck

      • frink

That’s interesting, at my SR other varieties had the sale tag too…
My question is can i get the same discount if I go back again and buy 4 more. The “Limit 4 Per Variety” on the sale itself (not the coupon), is that per transaction, or per sale week(tracked on card). Thanks!

        • Rocky

My circular ad states “10.3 to 11 oz can any variety (excluding Decaf and Columbian)”, so, any other than those two varieties should be on sale (sorry, @H!).

And, yes, you can get the same discount if you go back and buy 4 more in a separate transaction. There is no card tracking restriction that would keep you from getting the discount again during the sale week.

But, as mentioned, if you are buying, say, 8 cans (4 each of 2 different varieties), your coupons are restricted to 4 ‘like’ coupons. So, you can always use 4 of the $0.75/1 and 2 of the $1/2 coupons to get your 8 cans in one transaction (assuming you are getting 2 different varieties).

          • frink

            Thansk Rocky!!

          • H

Hey Rocky!!! Funny I had the bold blend and I looked at the price tag and it was on sale for $2.49 then at the register it came up different. I just didn’t want to go back!! I just picked 8 cans 4 for me and 4 for my mom at a shoprite near my college!!!

            • Rocky

I know it’s a bummer when you don’t want to go back (or, can’t, say, for time restrictions) because I have had to do that, also. BUT, keep in mind that if you do go back to customer service, you can usually get one of them free (if it scanned at a higher price than the shelf tag price) and the difference back on the others. So, any time you have the time to do it, it is worth making them check it out for you. I’m not sure if all SRs follow that rule, but, I think many of them do something similar. I therefore kick myself mentally when I don’t go back [grin]!

    • Kim

I drink Chock Full of Nuts regularly. The sale is never on Columbian or Decaf. They have separate sales for some reason. All of the other varieties are included. I got the New York Roast which is very good and it was definitely on sale 🙂

      • Rocky

Yes, I think it is because, for the Columbian, those beans are more expensive and for the Decaf, the processing they have to do makes it more expensive. So, I compromise! I buy the half caffeine version so that I get the sale price, plus, I then feel that I can drink twice as much and not get caffeine overload – hahahah!

    • Love couponing

      I purchased the new York roast @ $2.49-75/1 dbl=.99
I did this deal four times in one day .

  • Holly

Any update on the oatmeal saving star deal?

  • Meli

I have a random ?? the super coupons that come on the flier and say $15 min purchase required. Is that including the stuff from those Q’s or do i need to have a total of $15 before those items.

    • RC

Meli, I always thought as long as you are spending $15 in total, but then last week i had $16 in total, cashier scans first super Q, went through, after that my total was lower than $15 so the second one wouldn’t scan through for a different product because now i was lower than $15. The supervisor came over to override and said no, you need to spend $15 before any of the stuff that comes with a super Q, which doesn’t really make sense to me. I think you just need to make sure that by the time they scan your last super Q, if you’re buying several different products from the ad coupons, that you’re total is still above $15 by the time they need to scan the last one. Hope that makes some sense!

      • Meli

        Thanks
Thats what i was guessing but wanted to make sure cause this is the first time since i started buying 4 papers that they had the Q’s. I want to make sure i break up my orders right.
Last few visits my SR has been getting alot stricter and i dont want any problems.

        • RC

do you find super coupons in your store bought papers? i only get a shoprite ad in my delivered paper but my neighbour gives me his add too. otherwise, you could actually go to cs and ask for some super coupons, i saw them fishing them out of a bag full of coupons for a lady a while ago.

  • Danielle W

Has anyone had any success using the PB Cheerios coupons in either Oakland, or Lincoln Park SR?? I was planning on going tonight just for that but if its not working i’d rather save myself the trip!

    Thanks!

    • Erin

I did them at LP yesterday morning and they had to overide the coupon…but they did put it through

  • RC

there is a wasa crackers savingstar coupon for $1.50 wyb2 and a shoprite ecoupon for 1.50 wyb2 as well. pair those with printed coupons if you have any and you’ve got a moneymaker! or just free crackers if they’re not on sale. they’re 1.99 reg price at my store. i’ve seen $1/2 coupons on a tear pad a while ago.

    • Rocky

RC, thanks for mentioning this. I had clipped both the ecoupon, and, the SS offer, but, had forgotten about them. Got a great MM out of this! Went to Cindy’s coupon database, above, and printed two $.75/1 coupons. Bought 2 WASA crackers for $1.99 each, = $3.98 – $1.50 ecoupon = $2.48 – $3.00 (Two $075/1 doubled) = + $0.52 plus $1.50 Saving Star deposit = $2.02 they paid me to give me two free packages of crackers! Gotta love it! Woohoo!

  • lalluji

same here. $.80 cents pb cheerios from coupon network will not work at hillside shoprite. it says the barcode is unidentified.

    • Cindy

I just sent this information off to Coupon Network. I hope to hear back from them regarding the coupon issue.

I just came back from SR in Chester ny and they didnt even have the peanut butter ones on the shelf….. i checked all the reg display areas and end caps. I wanted to ask the manger but had to run and get my duaghter. I think its funny how they are missing. I will ask tomorrow we actually like the peanut butter ones better than t he dulce de leche.

  • Chris

I noticed a few people on here from Orange County NY ….Whats everyones favorite store. ive tired Middletown 211, Monroe, and Chester. They all seem hit or miss Chester has given me the most problems.

    • julie

i usually shop in montgomery but have found to go in on sunday and monday. it also helps that if they run out i just go back thursday afternoons because they get their shipments in.

      • Carol D

I shop at the Montgomery store as well. I’ve never had problems at that store.

    • TARA

I shop at the Vails Gate store. They are great with coupons. I’ve never had a problem.

  • Ashley L.

I went to Shoprite today and a fantastic shopping trip!! Just wanted to let you guys know that the Nature’s Bounty Flexamin is 1/2 off as well bringing it down to around $12 and then you can use the $5 Flexmin coupon on top of that bringing it down to around $7 which is awesome!

  • Cindy

I know a lot of you are having trouble with the $0.80/1 Cheerios coupon from Coupon Network. I just spoke with them today and they are aware of the issue and are working to correct it. I’ll update more once I get an update from them.

    • Maria

Thank you cindy. I hope they can fix it i printed a lot hoping to do several transaction, i want to give it out to my church members that really hard up and no job. Love your site. more blessing to you.

  • Nikki

I just tried doing the Peanut Butter Cheerios tonight. The coupons (as stated from many up above) did not work. I did have .75/1 Dulce De Leche that worked fine. I ended up with two milk vouchers after only having purchased three boxes of cereal. They voided out the PB Cheerios but the Cat still printed. So, yay for me. My boyfriend and I were very understanding about the problem. The cashier took off .45 extra.. she said “I gave you a few more bags on there..” meaning she acted like we used a lot of reusable bags. It was sweet of her. But, yeah.. here’s hoping they fix the issue and let us print the coupons again!

  • Rose

Hi all! I’m still relatively new here. I started couponing in Jan, and have already saved nearly 500!! Thanks so much for all you do here. Just signed up for savings star and have activated the your bucks program. Also, I never knew about the ecoupons before coming to this site. I am so happy I found this site. It’s the best! Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew if Shoprite sold Garelick milk. I’ve got 2 coupons $1.00 off when you buy any gallon of Garelick and a half gallon or larger chocolate milk. This would go great with the Catalina!

    • Rocky

Hey, Rose, welcome! Sounds like you are off to a good start! Don’t forget to also sign up for SR Family Rewards program, it’s great! And, of course, to activate the available SR ecoupons regularly.

      • Ashley L

What’s the family rewards program? I’ve been having trouble with the ecoupons where I load them onto my card but not all of them show up when I’m at the register

        • Rose

Me too. I just go to cust scve and tell them my ecoupon didn’t come off, and they refund it no problem. It happened twice.

        • Rocky

You can sign up for the SR Family Rewards program thru the Online Services drop down tab on the SR site toolbar. You will need your Price Plus card number for this quarterly program. Once you sign up, it keeps track of all your purchases. When you buy items from manufacturers who participate in the program, you earn points. I honestly don’t know how they calculate the points, but, since there are a ton of vendors involved, the points just keep adding up.

When you get into the rewards program on the SR site, click on the Participating Products tab to see all the things you can buy to earn rewards. Your cumulative points show up on your receipt, or, you can check them online.

Once you get to at least 100 points (you can’t redeem lower points than that), click on the Use My Points tab to see what you can choose. It’s either a $2 SR coupon off next purchase, or, a small freebie item like pizza rolls.

You earn for 3 months, then it starts a new cycle, but, you have one month after each cut-off in which to redeem your points. You can let them accumulate and get up to a $10 off your next purchase reward (there are other choices, also, such as gift cards, but, not for SR)! Best I’ve done so far is $8, but, I reallllly appreciated it (used it during the Can Can sales!).

Regarding not receiving your ecoupons: ecoupons do not show up on your receipt with all the other coupons. They are listed directly below the item in the body of the receipt. They can be a bit deceiving because they look like a price plus deduction. I’ve had mine listed with all different codes – cfire, tc, sc, and so on. So, you may have received it, but, just not realized it. Also, some folks, including myself, have had problems with ecoupons coming off when they were loaded directly from the cellfire site. I always load mine from the SR site, itself, and have never had them not come off. HTH!!

      • Rose

Thanks for the tip, Rocky-I signed up. Not quite sure how the points system works yet, but I will keep checking to see how many they give me-LOL! In any case, thanks for your advice. Everyone one on here is very helpful. FYI-I will be going back tomorrow for my 3rd milk this week! Also, I loved the Clorox deal, and I still have a raincheck on the D Safest Choice Eggs, so I will be getting more of those. I really wish I knew about all this before-can’t believe how much I’m saving because of this site 🙂

  • Any new updates on the coupon network cereal qs?

  • Barbara

Does anyone know if we can still use the cat coupon for the free milk even if we didn’t purchase the 3 GM boxes?? I had a problem with my PB Coup at my Shop Rite on RT37 in TR .I was only able to use one of my three PB GM coupons so I had the cashier void the other two boxes. The cat coupon had already printed. Can I still use it?
I don’t want to be embarrassed at the register. 🙂

    Thanx again 🙂

  • Christina

Barbara you Can still use cat. And I’m with u on Manchester store! I’m not liking the new shoprite ( although the older woman at customer service is helpful – she uses this website too !) and fisher way too crowded an understocked.

  • Kristy

Quaker is in fact using the shelf price! 4 more boxes of oatmeal today!

Also, I went back to Paramus for the cereal and tried the .80/1 PB coupons and of course they didn’t scan or work when keyed in, BUT one of the nicer FE Managers put it through anyway. I’m pretty sure that they DO get reimbursed as long as the item was actually purchased, because they can check that. I think they only say that because it is much nicer than accusing someone of fraudulent coupons (which is of course when they DON’T get reimbursed).

  • Laura D.

Thanks Kritsy! This is great to know. I didn’t get a chance to go on Monday. I will definitely go tomorrow.

  • Lori

Thank You Cindy for all your hard work!!! You make it all so much easier!

  • Michelle

I have a question about Shoprite ecoupons. Why do they differ from person to person? Are they supposed to do that? For example, with my card we can get the Welch’s jelly ecoupon, but it is not available when we sign in with my husband’s card.

  • RC

i did the GM cereal deal twice, and nothing printed, not even those ads that print out of the cat machine, like oil change ones, i asked my nice cashier to check his machine and he did but said he couldn’t print out a test or anything but insisted his machine was working. took my receipts to CS, they printed the first one. Second one they made a big fuss and called over the manager, once i showed him the wording, that it said one per customer per transaction, he said fine print it for her but was totally confused why i would ever 2 transactions! lol. i explained to him that i didn’t want to have to return another time in the week to get another milk and technically, from the wording, i can come in once or twice everyday to get a milk cat. not that he would understand why in the world of coupons would anyone want 3 milk catalinas! ahem.

    • RC

but since his machine appeared to not be working, my kikkoman marinade did not print one either 🙁 boo. how can i get one?

  • Joan

I could not find the Maggi soup at my store. I looked in the soup aisle and the ethnic food aisle and came up empty handed. Where is everyone finding the soup.

    • Rose

Me neither 🙁 . I even looked in the organic section. The only thing I found was bullion cubes in the soup isle.

      • Amy

i found them near the goya stuff…

it’s not listed here, but I have a $2/1 from SS…maybe that’s supposed to be there too? That would make them 1.99 when combined with the eCoupon.

  • Jenn

Does anyone know if the Kozy Shack coupon is available? I can’t find it at the link posted.

  • Rose

FYI-Don’t know if anyone else has this change, but I just noticed the store coupons at my Shoprite in CT just went up to min purchase of $25. Usually not a prob, because this is based on before coupons-lol! But just wanted to let everyone know.

  • carmen

just came from shoprite. The couponnetwork q’s didnt were not accepted. they were really nasty. the one in passaic. did not even try manually.

    • Carol D

At my SR they had trouble with my qs from couponnetwork as well, but they allowed them with an overide.

  • Shannon

I am pretty new to this whole coupon process so I have a question, I made sure before I went to add all my SR ecoupons to my card, I bought what was added but after getting home and looking it appears they were never taken off. Does anyone else have issues with the ecoupons? This has happened to me 3 times so far.

    • Rocky

Shannon, check the body of your receipt right under the item price. That is the line where the ecoupons usually show up (the line item below where the price scanned). They do not show up at the end in the section where all the paper coupons are listed.

  • Robin

The Purina One $5 off coupon worked for me on the 5.99 dog food at Shoprite in Hudson NY .

  • Claudia R

Yesterday I signed up on the Mueller’s Pasta site for the .55 cent coupons to use during my weekly ShopRite trip with my friends … yes, this is what we do for fun on Thursday nights. To my disappointment, the cashier identified my Mueller’s coupons as some that had been flagged as counterfeit by their stores and were not honoring. I was SO upset and embarrased. I have never had that happen before. Some people are just giving us, honest couponers, a bad name! I contacted Mueller’s today but haven’t heard back fromo them yet.

    • Hey, I used the Muellers pasta at big y and at Shoprite. It was not conterfeit. It came from their website. Next time, what helps me is I try to keep it and not cut it or have the original website there with me. Shoprite tried to tell me that Driscolls coupons was not honored because they couldn’t scan it. I told them to punch in the number and it went through, and it came from their website…so it is not counterfeit. I think sometimes that they don’t want to take the time to punch in the numbers…Just a thought. Dont be embarrased, turn the tables on them…If you are confident then they don’t question you.

This was posted by Barilla US facebook page this morning and I wanted to share – Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Check out our Wow Your Sweetheart tab for great tips on how to create a romantic evening at home for your loved one. When you send an e-card invitation, you can enter for a chance to win a romantic dinner cooked by a Barilla chef! And before you go shopping, don’t forget to print our coupon from the “Get Savings” link located inside the app. Buon Appetito! – The coupon that printed was a $1/1 any Barilla product, so the pasta would be free and sauce would be .79 at Shop Rite this week! 🙂

    • Annette

I just printed that coupon and it says that you have to buy any one pasta AND any one sauce – you have to buy both in order to get the discount, so the pasta will not be free and the sauce will not be $1.79.
Still, a good deal to pay $1.78 for both, so I might take advantage. Thank you for sharing.

      • Annette

OOPS, I meant to say that the sauce will not be $0.79 🙂

        • Ashley

Whoops. Good catch, Annette. I clearly read the coupon too fast. I saw the $1/1 on it and stopped there. Sorry about that. lol guess I should stick to focusing on one thing at a time. 🙂

    • Betsy

      Thanks!

  • kristy

Got 2 Schick Quattro for Women Disposable Razors from Shoprite. I added the ecoupon to my card before I went shopping. However, I do not see it taken off. How do we know if the $2 was taken off or not? Thanks.

    Kristy

    • Matthew

most of the time it will be in bold and will be listed right below the item…NOT in the coupons section. It may say CF for Cellfire or something else for shop rite ecoupon.

      • kristy

Ok…I know why I didn’t get the ecoupon. When I scanned my shoprite club card, it somehow took my pathmark card instead. Now why would it take my pathmark card if it only has 11 numbers instead of 12 for shoprite club card? Guess I’m not getting my $2.

        • Rocky

If you haven’t already opened them, you can return them and then repurchase with the right card. Am not sure why it would ‘take’ your PM card, instead, but, I have heard someone else mention that it happened to them! Hopefully, you didn’t buy a lot of items in that transaction because you would have lost out on all the price plus savings!!

          • kristy

It’s weird how that happened but it took off the for sales items. It’s said value customer. I’m so pissed because I got the 6 boxes of oatmeal too. Now I’m not sure if it will track on my savingstar or not since it’s Pathmark card instead of Shoprite.

            • Rocky

Hmm, I would think if you have your PM card set up in Saving Star, also, that you should get it, anyway. SS is not like just a SR-specific ecoupon, as long as you have all your different store card numbers set up your account, in advance.

  • Taryn

The WW deal was NOT on sticker price at the Somerville Shoprite. It was on the sale price. I bought 6 Smart Ones at $2 each and 4 Jolly Time at $1.50 each and my catalina did not print. The customer service rep gave me a gift card for it though 🙂

  • Liz F

This has happened tome before at ShopRite. If you have several tags on your keyring another tag can be easily read by the register. Then you lose several price plus discounts. Now I always watch when my card is scanned.

  • Anonymous

has anyone tried to use the other french’s mustard coupons besides the yellow? My shoprite usually doesn’t take anything other than what is actually on sale. My shoprite is in Staten island , Richmond.

    • Rocky

Not from Staten Island, but,I’ve used the dijon one, no problem (along with the electronic one), but, if I recall, the French’s Dijon was on sale at the time. Honestly, something sounds very wrong about a SR not taking a coupon unless the item is on sale. Maybe one of the S.I. folks will weigh in, but, that doesn’t sound….quite right!

  • Dawn

I’m going to try theMeullers tonight. I do want to report that it is a DND5 so the pasta WILL NOT BE FREE PER CINDY’s LIST….I’ll try to remember to repost the outcome when I get home…

    • Rocky

Dawn, FYI: DND5’s DO double , automatically, unless the cashier actually keys something to specifically stop it. It is the DND9’s that don’t double, no matter who does what!

And, many, many people, including myself, have used these coupons for quite a few months, now, and, yes, our pasta was, and, continues to be free, just as Cindy reported.

It seems to be the design of the coupon, itself, that is causing the most problems at the stores for cashiers who question them, but, again, many people at many stores have used them just fine.

      Good luck with yours!
