What are Dollar Day Deals you ask? Ways to score some awesome deals…
Dollar Days deals require you to purchase XX amount of select products from a brand and then you will receive a Catalina for the amount indicated on the deal, as well as a Free ShopRite Reusable Bag. All products, for each individual deal, must be purchased in 1 transaction. The catalinas are good on your next purchase.
Here are some things you’ll need to know. These are based on similar offers that ShopRite has had in the past. They may changed for this offer. We will know for sure once the sale starts. Of course, please let us know if you find something that works or doesn’t work so we can let everyone know.
You can do multiple deals per transaction as long as they are from different deals.

Raquel, I usually try and stock up on diapers when it ends up being about $.09 a diaper. I am not picky with brands, but then again my son isn’t allergic or doesn’t get any rashes from different kinds. A few months back shoprite had a sale on their store brand (which I LOVE b the way) and I really stocked up! I paid about $.09 cents a diaper. I guess it depends on if your brand loyal or not. Target brand diapers are just as good and I would by them (if I was running low ) @ about $.14 cents a diaper.
Huggies, Pampers, Luvs etc all charge about $.20 a diaper normally. I just figure if my son is not allergic or if they don’t irritate him, I go with the cheapest I can find.

It’s not a bad price but if you can get lucky I just bought the same size diapers at CVS on clearance for $5.74 ea. I got 3 boxes for $6.22 oop after coupons & ECB’s. They are not marked so you would have to scan them. I got Pampers Cruisers size 6 with 48 diapers in it. I noticed that the new box has 58 in them and now cost more. Another thing I noticed you can look for is the white and yellow label pampers puts on the box has a date from 2011 those should be clearance. All the new boxes have 2012 dates on them HTH Good Luck!
I will be skipping these deals (I really don’t need these items anyway). My fridge is well-stocked with Smart Balance milks and I have plenty of SB oil and peanut butter to last me a long time. All I paid was a few cents each time thanks to coupons and $10 Sobe cats. Thank you so much Cindy!
Wow, what a difference from the last two years of Dollar Days! These suck. Only one worth doing is Con-Agra IMO. My guess is that now that so many people are couponing and reading blogs like this (thank you thank you thank you) they had to figure out how not to give stuff away to us for free!

For the ecoupons, say you downloaded an ecoupon from cellfire and one from shoprite for the same product, will you be able to buy two of that product and it deduct one from each site? Or is cellfire and shoprite ecoupons connected?
Also, if an ecoupon is used from cellfire, will this cause the system not to recognize using the shoprite ecoupons that aren’t available on cellfire? Hope this makes sense what I’m asking. TIA.

Yes, take a break. I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 1 year old. On the one hand, it is good to get out while you still can, on the other, you need your rest. I will not take my 2 kids out food shopping (for starters – where am I putting the food?). I have the matchups, and the coupons all pulled and put together, but getting to the store – that’s tricky.
lol! This made me laugh! I’m 5 months pregnant too, and just got back from one last trip of dollar days with my 1 year old, 3 year old and Special needs 5 year old ( who like to run away as soon as i let go of her hand) I’m grateful for the break too this week!!
I don’t know how you get it all done! I am exhausted with my 14 month old (the pregnancy multiplies that feeling by 50) I give you LOTS of credit! I had a special needs sister growing up and I know the hard work and love it entails(she liked to run away when you let her hand go too)! God Bless you and your family. I was wondering the same thing about the cats and whether you can get more than 1 printed from the same manufacturer for the same deal. I have not done my shopping this week yet and I have 6 Ragu to buy and get back 3.00 cat, 6 Knorr Pasta sides get back 3.00 cat and 6 Wishbone get back 3.00 cat. I read in the email in the fine print one offer per manufacturer per family. Has anyone in Maryland/Harford County gotten more than one cat in their transaction from the same manufacturer? I am still going to buy these because they are a great deal with the coupons I have but would make it almost free with a cat for each one.
yesterday i did two 6x knorr transactions and a 4x ragu & 2x knorr transaction, all 3 transactions printed cats no problems, all on the same price plus card
Off Topic – Thanks to everyone who recommended the Shop Rite diapers when they were on sale 2 weeks ago for $3.49 a pack. They work real well. How often do they go on sale for that price? Are there any other store brands of diapers I should consider trying since I like the Shop Rite ones? If it helops, I do not like Luvs or Huggies.
Wow!!! I missed the $3.49 sale!?!?!?!? AWW CRUD! I have been suffering from morning sickness for the last 2 months so haven’t really been on my game (had a great stockpile so didn’t need much, thanks to CINDY) Shoprite brand are my FAVORITE! They work really well and are cheap. I have tried Target brand and they are good too. Didn’t like Walmart brand and Pathmark brand are OK. I think the store brands are better than the name brands anyway and are cheaper. HTH!
The Walgreens diapers are exactly the same as the ShopRite diapers. (The pictures on the diapers are identical and everything) They look the same and everything. Walgreens had BOGO a few times a year on their diapers and with their store coupon they were really cheap.
Actually, you should try certain diapers for the daytime and others for bedtime if the price is right anyhow. Although the Huggies snug and dry I don’t like either but try the Little Movers when you can get a good price next time they are both made by Huggies but completely different.
seems like they’ve raised the prices for their “sale”. Other stores around here regularly do this, but this is not something I’ve noticed Shop Rite doing before. I guess I just expect more from them.

Hi Rachael, if you have the ecoupon you should also receive the $1.00 off your first transaction, making the deal even sweeter I don’t know if you currently have a $5.00 cat to apply towards the balance of the first transaction, if you DO then your math is right and with the ecoupon it will be $7.00 for all 12 items, whoops there is the error ….. you will have 6 lysol wipes and 6 Lysol toilet bowl cleaners for a total of 12 items. Your last paragraph you have 24 items in total which is incorrect.
If you DO NOT currently have a $5.00 cat for the first transaction, I believe your total out of pocket for T1 will be $5.94 (with the ecpoupon) or $6.94 without and you will receive a $5.00 cat. Then the second transaction you will have the $1.94 OOP and receive another $5.00 cat to use on a future purchase. Of course you will pay tax on these items which makes the amount at checkout higher.
I hope this all makes sense, just got in after a very long day, super tired.
OH,One more thing, do you get the free bag with this promotion?

Sorry Michele, Transaction 1 has a total of 6 products plus Transaction 2 has a total of 6 products. Between the two transactions there is only a total of 12 products, not 24. The promotion is buy 6 get $5. She has everything right up until the end. If you want to do this, please double check.
When I went to sr last night I got a print of a stouffers cat, buy 2 get $2. I cant remember the specific product…. Maybe that will double dip with the above deal….

I am a shoprite employee and have learned alot through these websites and the couponers that come through however, each dollar days deal offer is a limit of 4 offers each so you can get more than 1 cat
If I get the MIo coups I will be doing that and stocking up….at 3.99 minus 1.00 thats the cheapest they go so if I could further that with a 3.00 back im good…only transaction I see myself shooting for next week for dollar days tho …. at 2.39 its a good deal plus the free bag Mine are always full of something else so I wont pass one up …LOL
I am excited about the con agra deal because my son will only eat the banquet links sausage and I have never seen a coupon for it so it is worth it for me. I amy even do it more then once and the nestle deal is good but thats about it. I am dissapointed also .
Wizclipz.com they are out of Tampa, Fl and have really good coupons. They do not increase cost when a coupon is a high dollar amount either. ALL lots of 10 coupons are $2.50 shipped (no matter what the coupon value is) occasionally they have sales for lots of 10 for $1 shipped also. They have a Facebook page too!
I dont see anything I have to have, altho my shoprite sent out qs in the mail yesterday for $5 off 40, free eggs, etc for 4 weeks. That $5/40 will help if i decide to do any DD. I haven’t seen these type of qs for a good 8+ mths. My guess is that they are trying to retain customers with 2 bottom dollars opening up within 5 minutes either direction? Who knows I don’t complain when they send free money!

This past week I did 2 dollar days deals and only 1 dollar day ecoupon came off on my receipt. I know I did them right because I got both cats. Anyone else have that happen?
hopefully they don’t do what they did this week and take items off the dollar days becuase they are free. My store had signs up for the knorr pasta’s and rices…made me so mad! They are trying to say it’s not included but there is nothing else on the page BUT dollar days!
I am so done with the south jersey shop rites not doing a full double. When I see how much more I could save in a trip if they did, it just really irks me. I look at all these awesome deals and add at least $2 -$4 to each depending on the deal. I still do very good in my weekly trips, but I wish it was better!! I feel your pain.. I live in south jersey too.. The closes shoprite that fully doubles is like an hour away, so not worth it.. Yes we have Acme, but my gosh, the prices are threw the roof.. I wonder why shoprite doesn’t double here?? Not fair….

YAY! gonna use my fisher boy free ketchup coupons I printed erlier this week to count for the hunts ketchup thats part of the dollar days deal. Fisher boy has free whipped topping today for the daily coupons. . . the redi-whipped cans are on sale for 2.49 so they would be free with a fisher boy product if you print them out!

I printed out my shopping list before going to the store tonight then the Kelloggs, Chex Mix, and Nature Valley digital coupons didn’t come off on my receipt. When I got home I looked and online it showed they expired. They were there two hours earlier and weren’t supposed to expire until tomorrow!

Hi, I am looking at the planters nutrition bars coupons and everyone I see says do not double. It begins with a 5 but in the past I had a sour cream coupon that said do not double an it began with a 5 and did not double.I wanted to buy some of the planters coupons but am afraid they are not going to double. Does anyone have any of these coupons that do not state do not double?Also on the dollar deals that end today there is a hormel for kidz that in my store is 3/3 but this does not match the hormel compleats coupon . Worse SDD deals ever. Last Year we got so much more for buying similar amounts. I used to dream of Dollar days, now its more of a nightmare.

you will need to separate transactions if you have deals from the same manufacturer.
you can do 3 transactions and get the 3 cats but if you buy them all in 1 transaction you will only get 1 cat

The Walgreens diapers are exactly the same as the ShopRite diapers. (The pictures on the diapers are identical and everything) They look the same and everything. Walgreens had BOGO a few times a year on their diapers and with their store coupon they were really cheap.

I believe the Walgreens diapers are no longer Tugaboos. I am certain the Rite Aid brand is Tugaboos. (Same as Shop Rite brand) That’s what we use.:)
Actually, you should try certain diapers for the daytime and others for bedtime if the price is right anyhow. Although the Huggies snug and dry I don’t like either but try the Little Movers when you can get a good price next time they are both made by Huggies but completely different.
seems like they’ve raised the prices for their “sale”. Other stores around here regularly do this, but this is not something I’ve noticed Shop Rite doing before. I guess I just expect more from them.

Hi Rachael, if you have the ecoupon you should also receive the $1.00 off your first transaction, making the deal even sweeter
I don’t know if you currently have a $5.00 cat to apply towards the balance of the first transaction, if you DO then your math is right and with the ecoupon it will be $7.00 for all 12 items, whoops there is the error ….. you will have 6 lysol wipes and 6 Lysol toilet bowl cleaners for a total of 12 items. Your last paragraph you have 24 items in total which is incorrect.
If you DO NOT currently have a $5.00 cat for the first transaction, I believe your total out of pocket for T1 will be $5.94 (with the ecpoupon) or $6.94 without and you will receive a $5.00 cat. Then the second transaction you will have the $1.94 OOP and receive another $5.00 cat to use on a future purchase. Of course you will pay tax on these items which makes the amount at checkout higher.

Sorry Michele, Transaction 1 has a total of 6 products plus Transaction 2 has a total of 6 products. Between the two transactions there is only a total of 12 products, not 24. The promotion is buy 6 get $5. She has everything right up until the end. If you want to do this, please double check.

I am a shoprite employee and have learned alot through these websites and the couponers that come through however, each dollar days deal offer is a limit of 4 offers each so you can get more than 1 cat
If I get the MIo coups I will be doing that and stocking up….at 3.99 minus 1.00 thats the cheapest they go so if I could further that with a 3.00 back im good…only transaction I see myself shooting for next week for dollar days tho …. at 2.39 its a good deal plus the free bag

Wizclipz.com they are out of Tampa, Fl and have really good coupons. They do not increase cost when a coupon is a high dollar amount either. ALL lots of 10 coupons are $2.50 shipped (no matter what the coupon value is) occasionally they have sales for lots of 10 for $1 shipped also. They have a Facebook page too!
I dont see anything I have to have, altho my shoprite sent out qs in the mail yesterday for $5 off 40, free eggs, etc for 4 weeks. That $5/40 will help if i decide to do any DD. I haven’t seen these type of qs for a good 8+ mths. My guess is that they are trying to retain customers with 2 bottom dollars opening up within 5 minutes either direction? Who knows I don’t complain when they send free money!

I am so done with the south jersey shop rites not doing a full double. When I see how much more I could save in a trip if they did, it just really irks me. I look at all these awesome deals and add at least $2 -$4 to each depending on the deal. I still do very good in my weekly trips, but I wish it was better!! Fisher boy has free whipped topping today for the daily coupons. . . the redi-whipped cans are on sale for 2.49 so they would be free with a fisher boy product if you print them out!

I printed out my shopping list before going to the store tonight then the Kelloggs, Chex Mix, and Nature Valley digital coupons didn’t come off on my receipt. When I got home I looked and online it showed they expired. They were there two hours earlier and weren’t supposed to expire until tomorrow!
I lost $5.25.

Hi, I am looking at the planters nutrition bars coupons and everyone I see says do not double. It begins with a 5 but in the past I had a sour cream coupon that said do not double an it began with a 5 and did not double.I wanted to buy some of the planters coupons but am afraid they are not going to double.
