Reader Lex had some awesome trips to CVS, ShopRite & Pathmark this week spending less than $3 OOP! Here is what she had to say:
I wanted to share my trips to Pathmark, Shoprite, and CVS. I spent only $2.42 out of pocket, and received $4 in ECB and $5 towards my next Pathmark purchase! The picture is missing a Snicker’s Egg because I got hungry. 🙂 Here’s what I did:
CVS TRIP
Transaction:
- 4 Snickers Chocolate Eggs $0.50 each
- 1 Colgate Optic White Toothbrush $2.99
Coupons used:
- (2) $1/2 Mars Easter Candy (3/8 SS)
- (2) $0.25/1 Snickers Egg (CVS store coupon)
- (1) $1/1 Colgate Optic White Toothbrush (3/11 SS)
Total after coupons: $1.49 (paid with a CVS cash card, so $0 out of pocket!)
Received: $2 ECB (Snickers) & $2 ECB (Colgate)
ShopRite trip
Transaction:
- 3 Bird’s Eye Steamfresh Chef’s Select $0.99 each
- 4 Rayovac AA Batteries (4 pk) $0.77 each
- 1 Shoprite Almond Milk $2.89
- 1 Sorrento Mozzarella Block $1.99
- 1 Sorrento Ricotta Cheese $2.99
- 4 Hershey’s with Almonds Candy Bars $0.67 each
Coupons used:
- (3) $0.50/1 Bird’s Eye Steamfresh Chef’s Select (NLA)
- (1) $1/3 Bird’s Eye (SR ecoupon)
- (4) $1/1 Rayovac Batteries (was not adjusted down!)
- (1) $1/1 SR Almond Milk (SR ecoupon)
- (1) $1/1 Sorrento Mozarella (2/12 SS)
- (1) $1/1 Sorrento Ricotta (2/12 SS)
- $5 Catalina
Total after coupons: $0.55
Pathmark trip
Transaction:
- 2 Windex Multi-Surface ($4.49) $2.99 each
- 2 Fantastik All Purpose Cleaners ($3.49) $2.99 each
Coupons used:
- (2) $0.75/1 Fantastik (3/25 SS)
- (1) $0.55/1 Windex Multi-Surface (3/25 SS)
- (1) $0.75 any Pledge, Windex, or Scrubbing Bubbles product (In-store tearpad)
- $5 catalina (from previous SC Johnson spend $15 get $5 purchase)
Total after coupons: $1.87 (including taxes)
Recieved: $5 catalina
