Does the spend $25 get $7 off instantly work on the shelf price? I was interested in getting a bunch of cream cheese, but I didn’t know if the 2 free of the B2G2 deal would count to the $25?
It depends on your store, in some stores there are no issues after coupons, others there are, so I think that’s probably why Cindy has it listed that way, it’s probably a YMMV situation. My store varies from sale to sale, sometimes it comes off, sometimes it doesn’t. My suggestion is to try it b4 coupons if it doesn’t come off add the extra items at the end.
I just bought the Capri Sun coupon from a clipping service for $0.30/each. This is what I was planning to do: Capri Sun for $2 each, buy 13 of them =$26 – $7 = $19, but then I saw the coupon for them. So buy 13 ($26) plus 4 more (free), using (4 ) Capri Sun B3G1Free coupon. So a total of 17, 10 pks for $19 = $1.12/each. Does this all sound right, am I missing anything? I don’t go to Stop & Shop normally, because I have had problems with them and coupons in the past. Is there any coupon policy that I may not be aware of, that would prevent me from doing this transaction? Thanks
well it depends on the store and whether or not you may want to fight for it, the ad doesn’t state after all discounts (coupons) so if it didn’t come off you could argue the fact, I personally don’t bother cause it’s a big ole PITA I plan on buying 20 using 4 coupons paying around $1.15 each
Just got back from S&S – bought 12 capri sun and 4 kraft bbq sauce – total was $28 – used 3 buy 3 get 1 free capri sun coupons (deducted $6). Since my total was only $22 after coupons the $7 instant savings didnt come off. I spoke to the manager and he gave me the $7 back after looking at the ad (no fine print about coupons).

She barely even glanced at my receipt, despite that I did spend the $25.
Just ordered a few Kraft homestyle coupons off ebay for $0.75/1 (great for doubles) Now i just need them b4 thursday! $0.50 a bag is awesome we love this stuff here

Okay so the deal for the juices didn’t work. My plan was to get 10 juices for 20.00 and 3 boxes of the velveeta which made 25.00. I was using two coupons for the juices (4.00) and three .75 coupons for the Velveeta so in the end I would have paid 9.50 but the 7.00 didn’t come off. Of course I debated at courtesy and they gave me the 7.00 but I wanted to to the deal again.

that was a catalina this is instant savings, so it will only work on sale prices and more then likely after coupons but YMMV
most of the time spend $X SAVE $X is calculated after coupons and sale price

That is exactly the reason I have a problem couponing at S&S with these instant savings deals. A coupon always has to attach to an item!!!
