Crispy Kale Chips Recipe

Crispy Kale Chips Recipe

By Megan Livesey

For a while now I have wanted to try to make my own Kale Chips. I have heard that they are a great alternative for potato chips (which are my absolute favorite snack), so I really wanted to try them! They turned out really good and I will definietly be making them again (with a few of my personal adjustments of course!)

I eat low carb and have been making these for awhile now. A couple of great tips I’ve come to learn: trader joe’s sells big bags of pre-washed, already cut kale in the bagged salad area. The bags are really inexpensive and so easy to start with instead of having to wash, dry, and separate it from the stalks first. Also, sprinkling some grated parmesan cheese on the kale during the last few minutes of baking is another flavoring option that tastes amazing!

What do these taste like? I am on a diet that I can eat this but I am scared to try it.

It’s cheap so you should just grab a bunch and throw them in the oven! SO GOOD! If you don’t like it you didn’t waist much money! I was scared to try them too but because they didn’t cost much and were SO EASY to make I did and have them ALL THE TIME to snack on!

I’ve tried these twice now and am in love with them. I am on the Weight Watchers plan and these are a great alternative to potato chips. I recommend anyone who is attempting a healthier lifestlye to give them a try. You can buy a bunch of kale for .99cents.

My favorite way to make Kale chips is with nutritional yeast to make them taste cheesy! Don’t be scared, it’s good!
