I found some GE lightbulb packs at my Targets on clearance for 1.78 keep your eyes open.
or if you have a giant, they’re still on sale for .99 cents this week making them free!
I found a 4 pack at my Target for 2.97. I bought 4 (2 for me and 2 for my sister who I coupon full time for) and there was a ton left. I wish I had more coupons.
i had such an problem this weekend at target, they wouldnt take my coupons because it didnt match the picture, then when one of hte couposn that did not scan but it was the same item as the picture, they told me that they couldnt overrightit because the register didnt recognized it as an approved item. I told the supervisor that she can modify the coupon policy whenever it was convenient for her, i had a printed copy of the policy and i gave it to her and she siad she would take it, so i gave back the item but they kept my coupons, i was so upset, i had my 3 year old with me and i just was frustated after 2 hours in the store shopping and them treating me like i was stealing stuff.
Cindy, have you experienced the same issues, what would you suggest we do when they dont want to comply with their own policy, i tired to call the corporate office from the store but they were no help
Yes I have had that happen and having the coupon policy is exactly what I do as well.
but if eventhou they are ready their coupon policy they dont want to honor it and they try to make excuses its just frustating, i only have one target that is closed by my house, there are others but i dont feel that is worth the gas i am spending and the travel time but at this point i think i might have to travel further to avoid frustation. I am also upset that when they see you with coupons ( i had about 50 c0upons total – i was not clearing hte story i only have 1 computer so i can only print 2 coupons) they roll their eyes and start giving you an attitude like you are so pathetic that you need to use coupons or if i have an issue about not honoring a coupon they say “its only $1″ get over it”

sorry for the rant, i just figured i would find some simpathetic couponers and i wouldnt feel alone and probably learn a new way to overcome such an obstacle,
BTW – LOVE LOVE LOVE your site – my husband makes fun of me because i am still to use the LRWC canvas bag i won last year – but they are so cute that i dont want to ruin them
I had this happen to me at Walmart with that $2 dial coupon last year. I was polite had the policy, told the cashier I didnt want to hold up the line, so I went to Customer Service. Customer Service had me escorted out of the building by security! I was polite and nice the whole time, just trying to explain their coupon policy to them. I ended up complaining to corporate and it got back to the district manager, and for several weeks I received phone calls from both the district manager & store manager apologizing and telling me I was correct and should have been able to use the coupon. To this day I won’t shop at Walmart because of the experience and they don’t sell anything I can’t get at another store. I even switched my prescriptions over to walgreens. It’s just not worth it sometimes. It’s OKAY to miss a deal, I miss tons of deals because I refuse to shop at walmart (all that overage to be had!)…there are plenty of other deals at other stores that will be happy to accept your coupons
I feel the same way about Target. I just started using coupons last summer and it was a good thing I learned how because in October I lost my job. Now I still cant find a job that will pay me more than my unemployment check (which is a joke to begin with) the coupons help me stretch my budget. I used to go out to do the target deals, but I stopped because the cashiers always act annoyed when you hand them coupons, it is frustrating because you put in a lot of time organizing, printing and clipping – only to get frustrated by the treatment they give you. Sometimes I think they are just jealous that you are saving money and they hate their jobs.
