Physician’s Formula Update & My CVS Shopping Trip
My Shopping Trip: CVS
I headed to CVS to check out the Physician’s Formual Deal. I did not have the $1/1 Physician’s Formula Coupon but I was determined to find something under $7 that produced the $7 ECB. And, I did. The Physician’s Formula Green Concealer Stick is working. It is priced at $6.49 at my store which is usually higher then most stores so hopefully you can find it cheaper then I did. And, hopefully you have the coupon to stack with it.
Of course, I have been holding onto those $1/1 Fig Newton Coupons from earlier in the month so I could do this deal. Love Fig Newtons!
Here is what he did:
CVS:
- 3 Nabisco Fig Newtons – $1.34
- Physicians Formula Green Concealer Stick – $6.49

Just came back from CVS and hubby and I got the 3 off any Physicians Formula Cosmetic from the red machine! We both got the liner for 7.89 minus the 3 coupon and still it produced the 7 ECB! 3MM yay
I actually received the $3 off coupon from the Magic MAchine as well!
I bought the $6.59 concealer too, as I didn’t have a coupon, and the ECB didn’t print. I asked for it, and they told me I had to spend more than $7. I asked her to show me where on the ad it said that. The called over someone else who said the same thing, then finally called over a store manager. I was not rude, just firm that their ad said buy “ANY” Physician’s Formula. they very grudgingly gave me the ECB, like it was out of their own pocket or something!! So frustrating!
I did this deal twice and Blink eye drops once and my ECB did not print as well. Cashier had to manually print it for me.
I did the $6.59 deal also and it didn’t print for me either. I too pointed it out in the ad that there was no min. price stated so he cashier printed it manually for me, but very reluctantly.
I got a $3 off from red machine, had a $1/1 coupon and a 25% off cvs coupon. It ended up being .72, a $6.28 money maker!
I used a $3 off peelie on a Physician’s Formula Youthful Foundation, then also had a Try Me Free rebate form for it. Coupled with the 3ECB from the Hallmark cards, I did alright!
FYI, you have to include a Try Me Free peelie with the PF rebate form from their website. They won’t accept just the rebate form and receipt.
I couldn’t find ANY cards for $1.49, was anyone else successful?
I ended up findig graduation money holders for 1.49
I got 3 $.99 cards, and the $3 ECB still printed.
cathy, i did this deal the other day using the $3/3 Hallmark cards coupon the other day, not realizing the fine print! the $ came off w/o beeping and printed $3 ECBs. my store had plenty of plain “grandma” type ones for $1 which really were nice enough. Of course, couldnt find any reasonable priced ones for my mom (what happened to the $2.99 type of card?!) hers was $5.49! I guess a net of $2.49 for 4 cards ain’t bad!!
I had a great buy today! Got the concealer compact (yellow/light) for $7.49 used $3 peelie and $3 red machine Q. Used $2 ecb and had to get some candy because my total was negative. I rather use the extra .51 than adjust down. There was 3 musketeers on clearance for .59. I paid .41 total with taxes and got $7 Ecb!!
I bought the same green package concealer for $6.29 and got the $7 ECB.
My husband got a $15 off Physician’s formula purchase when he used our card at the pharmacy last week. I bought a corrector for $14.29, used the coupon and it took off the full $16, and I still got the $7 ECB. Thankfully, I had other stuff in my basket.
I meant full $15
I bought the yellow concealer for $6.29 – $1 MQ = $5.29, got $7 ECB
our family has two cards only one got the $3/1 from the red coupon machine
so I got one “marker” eyeliner priced $7.89 (so after ECB $0.89)
and then with the coupon I got a lipgloss priced $9.99 (9.99-3Q=6.99-7ECB =A penny MM) I prolly coulda got another $7.xx priced item but I wanted the lipgloss
and for the Hallmark Cards I bought all of the $0.99 cards got 3 per card and one of my cards got the buy 3 get 1 free, I only bought 3 cards but it took $2.50 off anyway (dont ask me why it took off that much) but the point is the coupon works even if you only buy 3 cards
I also got the $15 dollar coupon, I really wanted some eyeshadow =8 something and a moisturizer=7 something from physicians formula i had a $3 peelie and a $1 coupon, total came out in my favor by about 4 bucks, but i had other things in my basket, I love CVS fr
I got the Eye liner/serum lash booster for $12.49 but it had the Try me free peelie. Unfortunately the rebate says they will only give a rebate up to I think $10.49, but with the $7.00 ECB its still a money maker.
Okay so I love PF products! I went today to purchase my bronzer and someone had removed all the “try me free” labels off the products – there were 8 bronzers that had the peelie removed. Seriously??? The try me free is product specific – very inconsiderate of whomever did this – I purchased anyway since I use it but the try me free certainly would have been nice on top of it –

Thanks so much for the tip on the concealer! It was $6.79 here (Manhattan) and my $7 extrabucks printed at the register without a problem. My store was also having a sale not advertised in the circular (found it via signage in the store) on Playtex tampons whereby the 40ct Gentle Glide were on sale for $7.99, and if you spend $25 on any Playtex items in the store you get $10 extrabucks. I had several Playtex coupons for B1 (36-40ct) G1 (18 ct) free which made it an extra special deal. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for always providing such helpful tips – I love your daily emails! – and I also wanted to let other shoppers know that even in ridiculously expensive areas like NYC there are great deals to be had
CVS today, bought (1) Blink Gel Tears $8.99 and (1) Physician’s Formula $2.62 MM using only ONE coupon. Gentle Cover Concealer Stick $5.99. Used $1 off Blink. Subtotal $13.98. Had enough ECB already to pay it down to $0.39. Got back $8.99 ECB for Blink, $1 ECB for Green Bag Tag, and $7 ECB for Physician’s Formula = $16.99 ECB!!! Imagine that. I didn’t get the store coupon from the machine. I love this site by the way. $2.62 MM using only ONE coupon.
