Stop & Shop: Red Baron Deep Dish Pizza Only $1
Stop & Shop: Red Baron Deep Dish Pizza Only $1
This week at Stop & Shop there is a Buy $20 Get a $5 Catalina on select items. One of the items is the Red Baron Singles which are priced at $2.00 each.
Reader Kerry tried the deal buying 10 Red Baron Singles. She received (2) $5 Catalina. After looking at her receipt, it seems that the deal is working on shelf price AND doubling up meaning you can technically do the deal twice in one transaction and get 2 catalinas. Kerry’s shelf price at her store was $4.39.
Here is the deal she did:
Buy 10 Red Baron Deep Dish Pizza ($4.39) $2.00 each
Total: ($43.90) $20 – this qualified for 2 deals
Pay: $20
Received (2)$5 catalina
$1 each after catalinas
You could just do this transaction:
Buy 5 Red Baron Deep Dish Pizza ($4.39) $2 each
Pay: $10
Get a $5 Catalina
$1 each after catalina
Be sure to check the shelf price at your store as it may vary from the one shown here. However, as long as your shelf price is not less then $4 each, this deal will work for you. Also, at this time, I do not know if it rolls. Kerry did 2 seperate transactions without using a catalina. Most likely it will work but that has not been confirmed.
Also, there are other items in the catalina deal and they will most likely be working at shelf price as well. Let us know if you found any great deals.
Be sure to check out the rest of the Stop & Shop Coupon Match Ups.
Thanks Kerry!

I ate my last single serving pizza this past week. I see a trip to S&S in my future tonight! Quick! While I have freezer space!
My S&S shelf price was 3.69. I bought 6 for a total of 12.00. 7 dollars after $5.00 cat or $1.16 ea. not quite as good as the $1 ea, but close enough.
Thanks for the deals.
Now I don’t have to cook tonight.
Are these pizzas any good? Would love some reviews
Jill, we call these babysitter pizzas. They are great for the nights when we have a sitter. I don’t like them, but the kids eat them up!
My kids always eat Ellio’s, not sure if they would like these
.
My family love Ellio’s too, but they like Red Baron even more
We used to only get Ellio’s until I started using coupons now we try mostly everything if it’s a good deal lol. They alway’s tell me they prefer Red Baron over all of the other’s…….I wish we had a Stop & Shop near us
@ Jill – yes!! These pizzas are my favorite especially since they microwave well – they come with a silver disc under them so the crust cooks nice. I would certainly recommend at least trying them out I think they beat Ellis anyway. Also does anyone know of the red baron coupon for $1.50 off multiserve would work on this since technically its 2 pizzas and therefore multiserve?
Thanks Danielle, I think I will try them
Danielle, where did you get the coupons from?
Tisha,
Sorry for the delayed response, internet issues at home. I suppose it would be good for me to know that, huh? I’m sorry because I honestly couldn’t tell you, I clip them all and put them in the binder, and bring the ones I know I wont use to friends or the coupon center in my Shaws. I am also in NH so I do notice that some of my coupons differ from those that most others on these sites have. I already used this coupon though so it really didn’t do me much good to ask!
My store in southeastern CT. had them for $3.39 a piece so we’d have to buy 6 to get the deal…..still not a bad price though. I get the microwave cheese pizzas and add some frozen veggies (peppers strips & onion or broccoli) to make them “healthy” lol….
I just bought 10 and only got 1 5.00 cat?
Worked perfectly for me @ 3:00 .. Shelf price was $3.69 so I had to purchase 11 total but 2 cats printed with no problem.
Thanks again for the info! Baseball starts this week and these will make dinner for the boys nice and easy before a night game!
I just bought 12 ($3.99ea was the shelf price) and got 2 $5 cats
thanks for the tip!!!
I just wanted to say thank you Kerry and Cindy. Frozen pizzas are a staple in my house when my sons’ friends come over. I just bought 10 (shelf price was $4.19) and I rec’d 2 $5.00 cats.
Ok I am soo confused…If I just want to do 5 of the pizza’s where is the $5 CAT coming from? I looked under CATS and didnt see any Red Baron? I dont know if with the purchase of 5 do I still need to meet a price point? Dont want to mess it up. TIA
Buy 5 Red Baron Deep Dish Pizza ($4.39) $2 each
Pay: $10
Get a $5 Catalina
$1 each after catalina
Elaine, it is a Stop & Shop store catalina: Buy $20 Get a $5 Catalina. And, according to the above info, it is working on shelf prices. So, as long as the shelf price at YOUR S&S is at least $4, if you buy 5 of them, you meet that $20 criteria.
As you can see from some of the comments, though, people are checking their shelf prices before they buy, because some folks found shelf prices of $3.69, or, $3.99. In that case, they had to buy 6 or wouldn’t have met the $20 criteria.
Also, it seems that you can do two deals in one transaction (which is highly unusual!) and would get two of the $5 cats. HTH!!
Thanks Rocky, now i get it, i just kept looking at the $10 Pay, and couldnt figure it out. And i kept reading everyones comments and it still never clicked. Feel like a little child who needs her hand held. But now i get it! Thanks again!
You are quite welcome! And, believe me, we ALL do that at times, so, don’t even worry about it!!! Especially for ones like this, that throw in the weird loop of being able to do two deals in one transaction. There is always something to keep us on our toes, but, that just helps keep it…interesting (and, challenging, for me, at least)!
Does anyone know if Giant Food Stores has the same Catalina for Red Barob Pizzas since it is owned by Ahold Inc. which also owns Stop & Shop?
FYI I am answering my own question here LOL. The same offer IS available at Giant Food Stores. I just called a local Giant (I’m in PA this week) and customer service told me the personal pan and the deep dish pizzas have the $5.oo Catalina when you buy $ 20.00 worth. Thanks Cindy for another great find! I am heading to Giant now!!!!!!
Well I went out and got the pizza and the kids love it and said it’s better than Ellio’s. So I will head out and get more! I rolled my cats
