Thank you! Was looking forward to this!
They had the same deal on the U by Kotex tampons this week, and I was able to spend $3 on the first one, get $3 RR, and then use those $3 RR to buy the next one and I still got a $3 RR printout!
I did that two! The shelves were stocked full so I was able to get 4 boxes!
How do u do that??? Cuz I tried and my rr beeped and the guy said oh it’s only 1 coupon per item… (I used $1/1 kortex coupon) So I tried to say that it’s not a coupon it’s Walgreens money… But he still wouldnt take it…
Jenna at Walgreens you need to have an item for the register rewards. So you get what is called a filler. (a cheap small item like Nice! jello .25c or baking soda for .50) just to use the coupon. You have to have the same amount of items as coupons. They consider RR a manufacturers coupon. Thats how it works @ Walgreens. HTH!
Cindy-
Ok deal on Pantene Shampoo
By G1/2 off
P&G coupon BOGO
what am I spending ????????????????????
Can the starbucks refreshers coupon be used anywhere for free? Since it says FREE starbucks refresher drink?
I would assume so, yes! I was wondering what it would be like to use it at Walgreens this week, considering we would get back a RR. I hate using coupons at Walgreens when you get a RR with it. They make you feel like you are stealing from them. I never feel like that at CVS though. Pathmark and A&P have these drinks for $1.50 (if you can find them. Went to 3 stores and nothing. I got rainchecks just in case). Each store also has an electronic coupon on their side for $1 off, so it is a good deal if you can find them. I have seen them at Stop and Shop last week. Also at Target a while ago when I first tried them (BTW, they are so good! They are not coffee drinks).
YEP! I tried CVS this morning they didn’t have any but my Wags had plenty and maybe thats because they are advertising it this week so it makes sense for them to carry it!! They were in the cooler by the registers I didnt see any in the back freezer where most of the drinks are so check good or ask an associate before u give up because they’re gonna be going fast with this coupon.
thought this was Stop / shop
yes – I got 14 today free !!!! Surprise – Gas points 400…………………..Whoo Hooo
This was the Free Starbucks drinks
when I went to print the depends coupon it said save 2$ on any 2 packages of depends.
I noticed that speed stick coupon says it is only valid in a cvs store. Can you still use it at Walgreen’s or is this information just incorrect?
when i printed the coupon it didn’t mention CVS anywhere on it
how do you use the Maruchan as a filler if it uses an in-ad coupon? my walgreens said it counts in the coupon count…so I wouldn’t be able to use it…am I missing something in the coupon policy, it doesn’t say anything about the in ad coupons.
My Pepsi Moments didn’t have the $.55 of one two liter Pepsi Next. I have a $1.00 off two. It’s still a good deal, I guess it turns it into a BOGO deal.
RE: STARBUCKS REFRESHER Coupon…..
Which NJ papers carries the PEPSI insert (which contains this coupon) ???
I DID NOT find it in the Courier News from my SNS store….
i got mine from Courier Post and Gloucester County Times.
I did not receive the Depends register reward and could not find it in the Walgreens ad. Is the Depends RR regional?
Couldn’t find the Starbucks Refreshers drinks anywhere…went to Walgreens, CVS, Shoprite and Target today…NONE! Anyone find these in the Vineland area??
Does anyone else have serious issues with Walgreens weekly sales and getting them to accept coupons? I live in Manhattan and have found this to be a recurring issue both in the city and in Long Island stores. The U by Kotex deal, for instance, shows up in the weekly ad when I look on their website and search by zip code, and it also shows up on my Walgreens mobile app which calculates your geographical location, yet yesterday when I went to get my freebie with the printed coupon for $1.00 off, the product rang up $6.49 and I had to wait literally 10 minutes for a manager and show her the sale advertised in the Walgreens iPhone app in order for her to honor the sale price – and even then, she couldn’t do anything about the Register Rewards so I had to convince her to manually adjust the price to $0.99 as I believed to be appropriate. I did end up getting the freebie, but I was also that customer who holds up the line for 10 minutes and really had to work to get her savings! I’m very curious if others encounter this issue on a recurring basis, as this is the second or third time I’ve had this happen to me over the past 2 months. What’s particularly interesting is that the weekly ad, when I look on the website, is 13 pages long but the ad they have in the actual store is missing 6 of the pages, and this is where I run into the issue. Is it just me?
To be honest, at this point I’m trying to phase Walgreens out of my weekly shopping regime and stick to CVS where I fare much better. The two products I will always go to Walgreens for are Cottonelle toilet paper and Viva paper towels, as the prices are lower than other stores to begin with and they often have printable Walgreens coupons for these items which I can combine with manufacturer coupons, though again this always turns into an issue for me because I literally have to carry the store coupon policy with me and show the manager that you CAN indeed combine a store and manufacturer coupon. Shouldn’t store managers receive training as to store policies?
I’ve even tried calling corporate customer service to discuss this, and they apologized and told me that they do consider themselves a coupon-friendly company, but I’ve seen no change in the stores where I shop. Weekly sales do not ring up correctly, coupons don’t scan properly more often that they do or I’m told they can’t be accepted with no valid reason, etc.
Does this happen to anyone else or is it an issue limited to New York stores? It’s hopelessly frustrating.
Dara,
Maybe it’s a NY thing, I just tried to get the Kotex U and got no RR. I didn’t see it in the circular so I didn’t push it. Not a happy camper!
I went to Walgreens early this morning and the $3 RR printed for the U by Kotex. I went back this evening to purchase 3 starbucks refreshers and 1 U by Kotex and no RR printed. Has anyone had this happen this evening? Is the promotion over?
The $3 RR just printed for me for the U Kotex around 9:20 pm in NJ.
Laura, Thank you for the response. Maybe its something with this Walgreens in Pike Creek DE…I hate when that happens and throws a monkey wrench in my plans!
Hi Alicia,
I go to that Walgreen’s in Pike Creek, DE too (among others in the area – we have so many!). I always seem to do real well. I also like the Kirkwood Highway location across the Y. They seem to have lots of inventory. Good luck shopping!
I learned a few things at Walgreens tonight concerning 2 issues.
1. Using the $10 Walgreens coupon and the $10 meter coupon for the Mini Meter the problem why the system is not accepting both coupons is because it is reading the Walgreens coupon as a Manufacturers coupon because it starts with a five and the computer is making the mistake. Therefore, if your store is nice they will manually override it.
2. I was told from now on with the new system Walgreens MUST scan RR first then scan coupons. Apparently the computer system is freaking out trying to do coupons first then RR and it won’t accept many of the manu coupons.
I did two transactions tonight, 2 meters first using the 4 coupons, paid $0
then I had a $9 RR and 2/$.99RR that were about to expire. Bought 2 packages of bacon, 2 pepsi next, 1 U Kotex used all 3 RR. They scanned the RR first then by the end had to adjust the Pepsi coupon down to $0.98 and my OOP was $0.14 for tax only.
I had gone to Walgreens earlier this week and it was a nightmare! So glad the manager tonight knew exactly what was going on and explained it to me so I could be better prepared for future visits.
God Luck to everyone with the new systems!
Can anyone confirm the the RR for U-Kotex is still rolling? Hoping to make a trip to my Walgreens in Shelton CT!
