Thanks for the matchups as always, this is a great week for creativity. My local store fears my creativity!
For the Lay’s chips, there is a Zavers coupon for $1 off 2 making it $0.88 for 2 bags!
that would make them $.88 each.
That’s what I meant, sorry.
There is a $.50/1 coupon along with a Zavers $.50/1 superPretzel making them only $.49 for a box!
I’m in NY. I’m curious if I can buy a $50 prepaid cc and then pay for the next one with the first one I bought? At Walgreens, I know I have to pay cash. Is this a store thing or a state thing?
It may vary by state, but from what I remember you could use a debit card with a PIN number; not a credit card.
the xtra you listed as $1.50 but the final price as $4.49 after coupons… which is correct? Thanks!
Note, in northern NJ, there is a coupons for $10 off when you spend $100 or $25 off when you spend $200. I received them in my driveway this morning. Valid May 4, 2012 thru May 10, 2012!!!
If you sign up for the email newsletter kinda thing via http://www.apfreshonline.com you will get those same coupons via email to print out as well.
Is anyone else having problems with coupons doubling? Lately this has been happening to me a lot (within the past month or so) and the coupons that aren’t doubling do not say DND. I asked a cashier about it this week and she just said that there must be something wrong with the coupon and she can’t force it to double. Almost half of my coupons didn’t double last night and that made my total about $5 higher. Now I’m debating if I should even use any coupons here that are under a $1 because I can’t find a pattern among the coupons that aren’t doubling so I have no idea which coupons won’t double when I go into the store. I’ve tried going to the self check out, to a regular cashier, and to a different store and have had the same problem, but when I have tried a couple of coupons at shoprite that didn’t double at a&p there was no problem with doubling.
I have had this problem with coupons that have the new data barcode, at A&P mostly.
Some coupons have both bardcodes (the old school one and new data barcode). I’ve made nice-nice at my store and the cashier will kinda fold it so only the old school side scans. That way, I’ve never had a problem unless it was a ‘DND 9′ where the barcode starts with a 9 vs. a 5.
If it’s a coupon with only a data barcode, I make note of it before I check out and watch it as it’s scanned. Their coupon policy states they will double coupons under $1 unless the coupon states otherwise.
I’ve had 100% luck in getting my particular store to make good on that, and having the policy in hand helped I’m sure. I’ve read others have not been so lucky and I’d advice them to print the policy out, it’s pretty clear.
In this economic climate, I expect my stores to follow what they say after they’ve set up the course of hoops to jump through. I’ve already run the course by the time I’m ready to check out; give me my cookie!
My Superfresh said they no longer double internet coupons, but if they have both codes on them and it scans the UPC code not the data code I think it will still double if it begins with 5….also I use the self check out and I control everything myself…Plus each Superfresh tends to have their own weird cherry picking ideas regarding the coupon policy so you never know what is going to work, if the coupon does not double sometimes I remove the items and ask for my coupons back and then wait for the same sale over at Giant/Shop & Stop which is always consistent and doubles my coupons. The Catalina / Uniliever deals are also a nightmare because sometimes they work on shelf price and sometimes they don’t…
My A&P also states they will no longer double IPs. I don’t shop at A&P anymore.
I use the ‘put your foot down’ tactic last, but, unless your store has their own policy IN-PRINT…the corporate policy(http://apfreshonline.com/pages_conCenter_CH.asp) states…
******
Exception to our Double Coupon Policy:
A Limit of two like coupons will be doubled, unless otherwise stated on the coupon “ Do Not Double/Triple/Multiply or Redeemable at Face Value Only” or words of similar meaning.
******
That’s all.
If you get an argument from that, I’d suggest taking your business elsewhere; while letting their managment know why.
So will the P&G rebate work using the shelf prices and not the sale prices? Do I total $40 in shelf prices?
I am guessing that buying a $50 gift card will not work toward using $10/100 store coupon? I have the digital coupon so, I can’t read the *exclusions.
doesn’t state any exclusions. Hmmm? wonder if we can do that.
Well, now that I look at it, it says exclusions apply, see customer service.
