i am spending the day wit my family. My mom is visiting from Turkey, so it’s a special day. I would love it if she could bring a Keurig Coffee maker back to Turkey with her.
Mother’s Day is special for me. It’s not just for honoring my own mother but also the woman who brought the man I love into this world. My very first Mother’s Day as a mom was spent in the maternity ward with my own daughter. And so, the celebration continues as we recognize her birthday and the day that I joined the ranks of those women privileged to be called “Mom”.

That is up to my husband! I know we will start off the day going to Sunday School & church but after that it’s all up to my hubby and 2 girls. I’d honestly like to just relax and have a break…..Maybe veg on the couch all day!
I am a dietary cook at a local nursing home. I will make a beautiful meal for all my residents. Then I will go home and then to dinnner with my mother and all her daughters… and all their children.

This is my first Mother’s Day as a mom myself. I look forward to spending time with my husband and 3 month old son before I head back to work from maternity leave.
I also plan on visiting my mother, my mother-in-law and my grandmother-in-law. It should be a special day for all of us… I wonder if I’ll get a card from my son… heehee
My plan is to spend the day with my two boys. My husband is active duty army and is currently on the other side of the country so it will be just me and my 2 little ones again this year

Having brunch with my 85 year old mother, my daughter, my best friend since childhood and her family. This is the second Mother’s Day that we have done this. Hopefully it will be a tradition that lasts as long as our friendship has.

A day of relaxation for me
I celebrate mother’s day any day my mom and I can take a day trip to the shore and walk 5-8 miles on the boardwalk. We love the peacefulness of the ocean, the exercise and the opportunity to spend time together. and we always take the car ride to the shore (about 1 hr drive) with an XL DD coffee in hand.
I am driving two hours to CT to spend the day with my mom!
my husband two sons are taking me out to lunch — which beats last Mother’s Day, when I was recuperating from staying up all night chaperoning my oldest son’s post-prom party!
I’m going to accomplish all my college work on Saturday so I can spend Sunday with the reason why I’m called Mommy…. my 2 boys. Plus take them to see my mom on mother’s day. However, I would love to wake up on Mother’s Day and have a coffee maker that isn’t about to call it quits. lol

I will start my mother’s day off with her favorite cup of coffee form Dunkin Donuts and bagel. Then we will go pick a nursery in buying all of her plants for planting around her house. After the nursery we will go to lunch, whatever place she will like and then on the ride home, stop again at DD for an ice tea. We will then spend the evening at my house; I will cook her dinner, watch a movie and then take her home. On the drive home, we will figure out a day in planting all the new flowers for this season! I have been doing this with my mother for the last 25 years, and she always looks forward tooooo this day. Happy mother’s Day Mom!
It depends on my husband. I know I won’t be able to sleep in because it’s his only day off this week and he hates getting up with our 2 year old triplets!!! I’m hoping for a nice, long nap and a relaxing dinner at home.
My children are in Boston and Vermont so I will go to Church with my husband. But Saturday – I will get some Panera Bread Scones to take home for Mother’s Day. Now that’s a treat too!!!
Last week my daughter graduated from college and now it’s time to drive back up north to visit my mom, who is in ill health, on Mother’s Day. Will be hitting the Dunkin Donuts all the way up the northeast coast. Thank you Dunkin Donuts, I can always count on a good cup of coffee no matter where I am in the country!

Going on a romantic long weekend to New Orleans. Unfortunately I woke up with a sore throat and congested nose but still looking forward to it. YAY!
I plan to spend Mother’s Day getting ready for the new semester! My fiance will be at a soccer game (forgot it was Mother’s Day). Kids are going out with friends (again FORGOT it was Mother’s Day) so I get to spend a quite day home alone…YAY!!!!
Mothers Day is always special at Church. The Mothers are honored and given gifts. My husband and kids are there which makes it all so special. Then we go eat after church and have great family time together. A great Mothers Day!!!

For over 10 years now, my mother, sister-in-law and I run away for the day and do what we do best shop … shop till we drop. We have a lot of fun and usually come home with more things for our husbands and children than for ourselves.

I am full time working Mom , so I don’t spent enough time with my boys. We all can’t wait till Sunday. I am going to take them for dinner to “Cosimo’s” in Newburgh, NY. I heard it is really good place to eat in. And of course family movie in the evening with popcorn. Very simple but we like it.

Spending the day with my 3 year old twins, who were born at 28 weeks and spent 91 days in the NICU. I cherish every moment we have together. Every year on Mother’s day we plant 2 new trees in our yard to celebrate our true miracles of life Genevieve and Nicholas!
Mothers Day has always been a great day for me. I married a man with a ready made family,2 girls and 1 boy. Was very happy and we decided 1 more would be great. The 1 turned into 3, 2 boys and 1 girl. We always had a full house full of laughter and fun, as the kids grew older these days started to disappear, then came the grandchildren,5 in all. As others strived for careers outside the home, I found my career right here at home with my kids! I will spend the day with the ones that are local and talk to the ones that are far away, and I will yearn for the day when I held them in my arms for the first time. I love being a Mom!

Prom weekend here for two of our 4 children. My older sister is coming to visit for the weekend and she said she wanted to make us brunch. Which is awesome because everything she makes is like a 5 star restaurant!
Mother’s Day usually consists of me and my brothers going to my parents house for dinner. Either my 90 year old grandmother comes to my parents or we go to visit her at her home. One year I made dinner for the family at my apartment which doesn’t fit everyone comfortably. This year as a gift to my mom and grandmother, I plan on taking them out for dinner. We went for dinner about a month ago and it was very nice and relaxing. Of course my granmother kept saying she should have made dinner because even at 90 she is still active!
