oh my! free gas card? have I missed something? what’ s the deal on that?

    • It’s not a free gas, but if you buy $50 in gift cards this week, you’ll get $10 catalina. I think most gift card are included, but buying gas cards, is a great idea.

        ohhhh awesome! thank you

      • Just be careful, on another thread someone mentioned that not all the gas stations accept gift cards at the pump. I bought two $25 gift cards for the Hess gas station and my hubby called to make sure they would be accepted and they were.

  • Yeah really would love to know!

Cindy, what size are the Dove chocs.? My store has a package that is 1.32 oz. at checkout. The coupons I have are for chocolate singles bars, 1.44oz. I cannot find that size any wheres in the store, I am wondering if the size at the register are the ones you picked up. Thanks.

    • I am wondering the same. I only found the smaller bars & wasn’t certain the coupon would work for them – didn’t attempt.

    • Dove Chocolates were the ones by the register. The coupons I used (which I forgot to list) can be used for that size. I added the coupon link above.

  • Cindy,

Not only I do not see the .75/1 Jello Q, I also do not see the dove .50/2 Q. Hmnnn…if you didn’t print it, or if you printed it and you left it, or BOGO ate it again, this is outrageous. How can you let this grave couponing sin happen? :) PEACE

    Ueen

  • I had the same issue with the 1.32 oz chocolates last week. The 1.44 are a new larger size. One isle had the small size, the other had a larger size.

  • Is there a limit to the gift card deal per price plus card??

    • I don’t think so. I have done it 4 times this week, all with the same price plus card.

    • Just know that next week, when you go to use them, you can only use 1 per transaction.

      • I’m wondering if we will be able to do multiple transactions since I have 6 of them. I’m thinking scan my groceries, stop when it gets to a little over $10, use my cat and repeat. A pain but better than having to do 6 small trips. Thoughts?

        • Lori, that’s what I would do. But so that you don’t annoy the people in line behind you I would go at an off-time, like 9 or 10pm on a Friday night!

          • actually my SR is quite busy at 9 or 10pm on a Friday. Not as bad as Saturday morning, but it is one of my times to avoid.

        • That was my plan also. However, they do say one per transaction per day. So, YMMV I’m thinking! Since it was essentially free (would spend that gas money anyway), I figure there was no harm in getting a bunch and then trying.

        • None of the SRs by me like multiple transactions. However, the rule is that you must go to a different register for the next transaction. If you have a self check out, that might be your best option.

  • Cindy did you see the tiny print on the $10 cat…it says minimum $5 purchase.what does that mean.

    • I actually think it was a mistake and should read $10 not $5.

      • nope, I don’t think it’s a mistake or atleast my shoprite cashier on self check-out told me that I must have $5 in grocerries on top of $10….i know doesn’t make any sense…..here’s the trans. I was buying 2 organic milks + bananas=$12 something…..tried to use the cat from gas card (as in gas card post someone mentioned she already started using them)….message popped up “exceeding the limit” something like that……when asked for help they mentioned it has to be $5 atleast after coupon plus milk is excluded(fine prints) so I paid the whole amt. with tired kid had no energy to go back & put more stuff in trolly….may be next time will go without kiddoo….

        • & cindy your SR is good….mine at north brunswick doesn’t keep earthbound celery & I buy organic celery everytime for around $3 :(

  • Are the Union County Shop Rites doing the gift card promo? I can’t find it in my ad.

  • Cindy,
Did you buy the gas cards and get the catalina using the same price plus card? Meaning you did the catalina deal more than once and got a cat each time?

  • I been getting assorted cards , also apple iTunes for xmas gifts

  • Cindy
If u did not print the $0.75 coupon for the Jello-O Temptetion u should have used the $1.10 coupon, it is good for any Jello-O….
    U still did good…:)

  • Cindy,
You should check out what time the Meat Dept at your shoprite marks down the ground beef. At my Shoprite, ground beef gets marked down 50% daily every evening. Was told that they MUST do this every day b/c they are not allowed by law to resell the beef once it has been out for more than 24hrs. I’ve been stocking up on ground beef and making different dishes! Tmrw is taco night!

    • what rtime do u go … i used to get mine around 8 but i havent seen it in weeks. TIA

      • I get mine around 9:30/10 pm. Fri, sat & sun I don’t bother they are so busy there is never anything good.

    • Mine are marked down around 8 but you usually can’t get anything good except for Monday nights, sometimes Sunday. This was a good price because after the Super Coupon it was only $1.86/lb.

  • Thanks! Didn’t realize I could do the gift cards more than once. Besides the gas, some of them will make great graduation gifts.

  • great job!!! as always,, thank you! when you post your trips help me to deicide if I want to go or not!! LOL ;) SR is not really close by :(
Also does anyone know is the multipack gift card are part of the CAT? for example the itunes multipack that came with 3 $15 gift card or the Starbucks with 3 $10??
    TIA

  • can some one tell me plz if hess is include in gas card deal

  • Does anyone know if the gift card cats rolling?

  • Is there an activation fee for the gas cards/gift cards at Shoprite?
    Thanks!
