NJ Happenings: Artisans’ Fair, Mother’s Day Celebrations and more!
For New Jersey Residents: Here are some free and/or inexpensive family activities for this weekend.
- Saturday, 5/12: Artisans’ Fair in Morristown. Enjoy a craft fair, tours of the Vail House, displays, activities, presentations and more. 10am -5pm. $5/adults, $4/seniors, $3/children. Click here to find out more.
- Saturday, 5/12: Yantacaw Family Swap at the Yantacaw School Gym in Nutley. The Yantacaw Family Swap is a chance for you to donate things you don’t need and take things you do, including sports equipment, books, toys, computer games, DVDs, small household items, baby clothes/gear, kids clothing/outerwear/shoes, and more 9:00am – 11:30pm. This event is free.
- Sunday, 5/13: Mother’s Day in Far Hills. Come out and celebrate Mother’s Day in the beautiful spring gardens with musical entertainment and refreshments. 12:00pm – 4:30pm. This event is free. Click here to find out more.

Saturday, May 12th is the annual NJ History Fair at Washington’s Crossing State Park in Titusville, NJ. Open 11am-5pm. Free admission. Parking is $5 per car. Good family event – meet reenactors, see exhibits, and learn about state historic sites and what makes NJ unique.
