I found in my coupon stash two Catalina coupons for solo that expire on 5/28. One is for $1 off 2 solo heavy duty paper plates, bowls or cups. The other is.75 off 1 solo plates bowls or cups. Do you think these heavy duty are included in the solo Catalina deal this week?

Thanks for your reply. My dog only eats Pup-Peroni treats, too. I just went to their website and was able to print out some $1.00/1 coupons. Now, I’m thinking it may be smarter to buy one large bag and either three or four of the smaller bags, so I can use more coupons. $2.79 is a pretty good price for the smaller bags, in any event, so I’m thinking I should stock up. Wow, isn’t that harsh and somewhat misleading? There was a problem with the dried chicken ones that were made in China, but, that is something that, over the last few years other dog food companies have had to contend with, also.
my golden died of Liver problems…………I took him to many vets – even a chinese herb vet in Long Island – taking a Ferry to get there. I used a product from China ( chicken treats he loved ). Horrible – Horrible ……………….Never Again !!!!!!!

My comment wasn’t meant to diminish your loss, it was to point out that the problem was related to the chicken treats made in China. Many dog food companies over the last few years have been part of that process (having these particular treats made in China for them) and when we heard about that problem a few years ago, that’s how we knew to always check the origin of those particular treats from ANY manufacturer before buying them, ourselves. That’s the crux of the problem, I think, those treats from China. Just making a broad, sweeping statement that one particular company has ‘a reputation for giving dogs liver disease’, though, well, that isn’t fair.

Did anyone else see the add for the SmartSource Xpress for the Ipad? Its another way to add coupons to your shopper card. I haven’t looked it up yet but wondering if it will work the same way Cellfire and Shoprite conflict if you clip both. Hope they have some good stuff on there.

ShopRite Beauty Care Rewards–I received an $8.00 coupon this morning from SR Beauty Care Rewards to use on my next shopping trip!! This was a complete surprise and I don’t know how I earned this.
The only thing I can figure is I received a print out last time I shopped stating I had $19 (no idea how I earned this!) in SR BCR and I had until 6-30-12 to get up to $50.00
Today I purchased (3) Banana Boat suncreens that must have registered at the $9.99 price which I got for $4.99 and one lip balm that must have registered at $1.99 and I got for .99. (I had four $1 off BB coupons.)
That would have put me over the $50.00 mark.
I love this unexpected $8.00 off.

the beauty catalina is from a targeted promo…not sure how a person is selected but I know i am not fortunate enuf to be one…I am on register there a cpl days a week, and a running total catalina pops out if your card is one that is in it..shoprite has been doing a lot of targeted marketing things in the last few months..Not sure if they are trying to figure out best way to promote things with out getting over whelmed or not…the kindle promo a cpl weeks ago, large tides on discount via your email and some others are ones i recall. I have also seen catalinas with running totals on them from kraft mac & cheese and gerber….just to name a few…No clue at all how a person is selected…..HTH

Just got back and am all stocked up on Pup-Peroni treats! Got three small bags and one large bag, so my little guy should be set for awhile. By the way, the circular says the 4.8-5.6 ounce packages are $2.79, but the “bonus size” 7 ounce are also marked that price. So, keep your eye out for those!
I got 4 bags of Pupperoni using the two coupons from their website and 4 of the Milo treats so I got the Catalinas… Now we can stock up every week for the next 4 weeks. Dont forget to use them now on future doggie treats!

I’m glad you were able to stock up on the treats, too. I got my dog a couple of bags of Milo’s chicken jerky treats earlier this year, and he liked them a lot. A few months ago, though, I saw that the FDA had issued a warning about dogs getting sick after eating chicken jerky treats made in China. The info is still on the FDA website, and a quick google search will list some of the brands affected. I’m not sure what type of treats you purchased, and I’m sure your dog will be fine. I just thought I’d pass along the info.
I wasn’t allowed to use the buy 1 get 1 free ocean spray coupon because the manager said all printed coupons needed to have a watermark. This coupon didn’t print with a “watermark.” Did anyone have this issue??
No problems for me today. I was able to use the BOGO after I explained to my cashier that the “redeemable at Walmart” means just that… it does NOT mean it is ONLY redeemable at Walmart. It is a regular manufacturer’s coupon.
I buy the everready (sp?) brand at the dollar spot at target. Use a $1/1 energizer Q and they are free. They come in AA 2 packs, AAA 2 packs, and 9 volt one packs.
The .75 off coupons from Common Kindness for Rold Gold and Lays kettle chips did not double for me today, despite all of my other coupons doubling, so they may be true DND (since the cashier clearly did not hit the DND button with all my other coupons doubling with no issues).
Exactly me too!! I bought the Rold Golds and the Kettle chips. The coupons said “Do Not Duplicate” at the top, which to me means don’t make a photo copy. But the cashier said that is the same thing as “Do Not Double”. I disagree. I thought about asking the cashier to take them off my order, but they were already in my bags, so I just took them. I still might go to customer service to speak to a MGR about it since I don’t think it’s a true DND and they fully double up to .99.

The coupon for the Lay’s Kettle chips is for 10 ounce or larger. The chips that are on sale are 8.5 ounce. I only realized it after I printed the coupon.
I ordered some Ball Park coupons last week, but now that I have the flyer I noticed that the Ball Park Angus hot dogs are on sale for $2.49. With the $.75/1 they come to $.99 a package, which is a better price than the regular ones, which at best you can get for $1.13 a package.
I just ordered another 10 $.75/1 Angus coupons from Ebay, I hope they get here in time.

Just an FYI : My Shoprite (Middletown, NJ) had the Al Fresco Wild Blueberry Chicken Breakfast Sausage 8oz at $2.99 (think the apple maple and country style were also). The $1 coupon makes them $1.99. Not bad if you want to try something new and interesting… blue chicken sausage looked pretty cool!
anyone else have problems using the ocean spray bogo coupons at shoprite? i go to the greenwich, nj store, and the cashier refused to take them because they said redeemable at walmart. she said she already asked her manager bc someone that morning had the same coupon. i was so disappointed, because she was not interested in my argument that it is a manufacturers coupon and should be accepted. i normally don’t have a problem there. i’m thinking of going back before the end of the week and trying again with a different cashier?!

the beauty catalina is from a targeted promo…not sure how a person is selected but I know i am not fortunate enuf to be one…I am on register there a cpl days a week, and a running total catalina pops out if your card is one that is in it..shoprite has been doing a lot of targeted marketing things in the last few months..Not sure if they are trying to figure out best way to promote things with out getting over whelmed or not…the kindle promo a cpl weeks ago, large tides on discount via your email and some others are ones i recall. I have also seen catalinas with running totals on them from kraft mac & cheese and gerber….just to name a few…No clue at all how a person is selected…..HTH

I’m glad you were able to stock up on the treats, too. I got my dog a couple of bags of Milo’s chicken jerky treats earlier this year, and he liked them a lot. A few months ago, though, I saw that the FDA had issued a warning about dogs getting sick after eating chicken jerky treats made in China. The info is still on the FDA website, and a quick google search will list some of the brands affected. I’m not sure what type of treats you purchased, and I’m sure your dog will be fine. I just thought I’d pass along the info.
I wasn’t allowed to use the buy 1 get 1 free ocean spray coupon because the manager said all printed coupons needed to have a watermark. This coupon didn’t print with a “watermark.” Did anyone have this issue??

The .75 off coupons from Common Kindness for Rold Gold and Lays kettle chips did not double for me today, despite all of my other coupons doubling, so they may be true DND (since the cashier clearly did not hit the DND button with all my other coupons doubling with no issues).
Exactly me too!! I bought the Rold Golds and the Kettle chips. The coupons said “Do Not Duplicate” at the top, which to me means don’t make a photo copy. But the cashier said that is the same thing as “Do Not Double”. I disagree. I thought about asking the cashier to take them off my order, but they were already in my bags, so I just took them. I still might go to customer service to speak to a MGR about it since I don’t think it’s a true DND and they fully double up to .99.

I don’t think you can you both coupons together – they are both manufacture coupons.
The coupon for the Lay’s Kettle chips is for 10 ounce or larger. The chips that are on sale are 8.5 ounce. I only realized it after I printed the coupon.
I ordered some Ball Park coupons last week, but now that I have the flyer I noticed that the Ball Park Angus hot dogs are on sale for $2.49. With the $.75/1 they come to $.99 a package, which is a better price than the regular ones, which at best you can get for $1.13 a package.
I just ordered another 10 $.75/1 Angus coupons from Ebay, I hope they get here in time.

I dug through my coupons yesterday and had 2 Special K Granola Bar coupons, $.75/1. Cindy had posted a $1/2 ShopRite eCoupon not too long ago, and I completely forgot about it until I saw it come off on my reciept.
They are on sale for $2.49 this week, after my coupons doubled and the eCoupon came off, they came to $.50 each!
If you don’t have the $.75/1, there was a $.70/1 in this week’s SS, $.60 is still a great deal!

anyone else have problems using the ocean spray bogo coupons at shoprite? i go to the greenwich, nj store, and the cashier refused to take them because they said redeemable at walmart. she said she already asked her manager bc someone that morning had the same coupon. i was so disappointed, because she was not interested in my argument that it is a manufacturers coupon and should be accepted. i normally don’t have a problem there. i’m thinking of going back before the end of the week and trying again with a different cashier?!

Amy, I’ve done this deal four times so far this week. There was a regional $.75/1 in the May P&G or a $1/1 depending on which you got. I also had one from the P&G mailer I got and several from some Pampers coupons books. I think its a great stock up price for AA and AAA 8packs.
