Just beware the .75 Vlassic says DND but starts with a 5, but I’ve used it before and the cashiers have done it both ways.

For me it all depends on the cashier. The younger girls and guys are really nice and just let the register do all the work but there is a few older cashiers who inspect EVERYTHING and have even tried saying I can’t use a coupon before because it has the red dot from couponnetwork on the side of it. Or one who told me they don’t accept the coupon if the value is too much and I said that they price adjusted it and she said no and tried to hand it back until I asked for a manager. (Needless to say I will never go to her again! She really does act like I’m stealing from her)
Last time I checked, they were still available from Coupon Dede too. But those will probably go quickly once this deal spreads.

Can anyone read the gift card /catalina restrictions – it looks like get a $10 catalina with $50 in gift cards, with only Shoprite GC’s excluded?
It’s hard to tell, but it does say “Get $10 off your next shopping trip when you buy $50 or more in gift cards” (not *these specific* gift cards) and “excludes ShopRite gift cards”. It seems like all others would be included, but we’ll have to wait and see, I guess.
Degree or Dove Deordant is 99 cents….good deal, wish i had some coupons for that though~

My ad shows Applebees, Gap, Marriott, Lowes, Lane Bryant and Longhorn. Limit 1 per customer, excludes ShopRite GC’s.
I see Lowes GC pictured. Great gift for Mother’s day I may ad. Hoping its all of them, however I am in NJ and with new law I don’t know what we will even have available. Also do the GC cats roll? Can you use one to buy another, or just food? Anyone know?

i don’t know if it has passed. Rumor has it that there is a law that more or less, after 2 years, your unused gift card balance becomes property of NJ government. When a retailers sells a gift card, legally, they are supposed to get your name, address etc, and record that gift card purchase so that when the 2 years is up the government can take your gift card. Retrailers not wanting to do that, are not supposed to sell gift cards. No one has ever asked me for my info when I buy gift cards, so I don’t think anyone is following that law if it has been passed.
I think what it comes down to is that retailers love gift cards because when they expire, they are keeping the money. They are getting paid and providing nothing for it. I think I read somewhere that about 5 percent of gift cards are never redeemed annually, which comes to about 6 Billion dollars. So NJ wants the money turned over as unclaimed property and retailers are refusing, so some started pulling their cards and stopped selling them in NJ as a protest. Gift cards are a great gift, but the fact that they have expiration dates or monthly fees at all is a joke.
but that’s not quite right either, because most gift cards for stores (not incl. Visa, Amex, etc) don’t have Exp dates – because they are not legally allowed to. I’m not sure why Amex, Visa, etc. have the exp dates and the fees because you have to pay a fee to buy it too. And while you can use them at more places than a store gift card, you still can’t use them at ATMs, Hotels, Travel Bookings, Casinos, and the like. I don’t mind getting an Amex or Visa gc as a gift, but I would never buy them as a gift for someone else.
I have used the Visa and MC to pay some of my bills online. That is why I am hoping this is not like the time they had the $ put on your SR card and it was a one time thing. I have a feeling it will be that way. Just once and put onto your card. Will have to wait and see I guess.

Under the Salute deal spend 20 for a 5 catalina. Would regular price of purchasing 3 Angel Soft 24 packs of toilet paper (5.49 on sale, regularly 7.24) trigger the catalina. The 3/25RP has. 45 off Angel soft coupon, so after doubling the (3) 24 packs cost 13.77. After 5 catalina it is just 8.77 or 2.92 per 24 pack.
Just wondering if this works..

Are the catalina deals on pre sale price? I get nervous that I’m going to go by the pre sale price and not get my catalina.
Shop Rite usually goes on Shelf Price. Don’t be nervious. Just give it a try. If you don’t get your cat – go to customer service. If you still can’t get your cat – return the items.
Just found some Sparkle .50 off coupons on ebay, so if the above deal works, you do the same deal as I proposeded on the Angel Soft and buy 3 it would be 8.47 after catalina or 2.82 per 8 pack and then if you rolled the catalina, going forward would be 1.16 per 8 pack if you used 3 coupons per transaction.
Any Qs for the Dixie or Sparkle in the OYNO deal on page 4?
Cristine, there were $1/6 pack or larger Sparkle coupons in Better Homes and GardensMay issue and a couple of other magazines (All You, maybe).

I actually just got a mailer from RiteAid that had samples and coupons for $2 off Nivea lotions. Don’t remember the specifications on the coupon (I’m at work and coupons are at home) but I definitely don’t remember signing up for it, so if you have a Wellness card, they may have sent you one too!
It doesn’t seem to me like the Cereal deal is such a deal. 4 for $14 plus free milk cat. Say you have 4 .75/1 q’s that fully double. You’re still paying $8 for 4 boxes of cereal and a gal of milk. Yes, they are big boxes. But, when they have this same deal with the reg size boxes of cereal, and you have coupons, you can get the 4 boxes of cereal and free milk cat for under $3.
But it could just be because I look at the deal a little differently. I have to buy milk. It normally costs more than $3, so I’m getting the milk at a discount and getting 4 free boxes of cereal.

Yep, that’s the way I look at it too. And that’s the reasoning I use when explaining to my husband why we have 16 boxes of cereal when only 3 out of the 4 of us eat it, and only on the weekends! LOL
