Here are some updates on the Catalina Deals this week at ShopRite:
Garnier Catalina Deal:
Buy $15 Get a $5 Catalina. Be sure to check the shelf tags as some of the price may not be showing a pre-price plus price and may just be on a regular sale. If that is the case, the amount has to be met on the sale price.
Also, The Garnier Shampoo does not seem to be working at all so you may have to go to customer service to have them print you a catalina. But, be sure to base it on the sale price on the sticker in your store.
Pantene Catalina Deal:
Buy 2 Get a $5 Catalina is confirmed to be printing up to 4 catalinas in one transaction. So, you can buy 8 and get (4) $5 Catalinas.
Also, if you want to do them in separate transactions, the catalina is rolling. So, you can use your catalina from the first transaction to pay for the next.
Sundown Catalina Deal:
Buy 2 Get a $3 Catalina is also confirmed to be printing 2 catalinas in one transaction. So, you can buy 4 and get (2) $3 Catalinas

I purchased the kikkoman today not realizing that it is suppose to start tomorrow but I received my catalina!
Oh yay! It started early. It usually does start on Sunday even though it has Monday’s date, however, it’s just my luck, that every time I say that, it doesn’t start on Sunday LOL. So, see, I kept quiet, and it worked
i did kikkoman too… bought 3 but only got $1 catalina… then the customer service said that it’s because it won’t start til tomorrow… is that right???
I only got a $1 catalina on 3, also. But I did it on Monday, so I’m not sure what’s going on.
I went today, Wednesday. On Long Island they are only have $1 cat on the 3 packages. Also only $1 cat on the sauces.
For the Pantene deal, how can I use the 2 bogo q’s I have plus the $3.00 q’s and still get the $5.00 cat? And can I use all the q’s in 1 transaction? Thanks.
You would have to purchase 4 Pantene shampoos and or conditioners. You could then use 2 BOGO coups & 1 $3/2 coup.

It should work, it worked for me at Shoprite & it also worked for me at Pathmark. I bought (4) Pantene, used (2) BOGO & (1) $3/2 Pantene coupons at both stores & it worked……hth
Please help! Where do you find this $3/2 pantene products coupon? Is it in the May P&G with the Olympic athlete on the cover or in another circular? …having trouble locating…thanks for any help.
We got an extra P&G this month. The $3/2 coupon is in the 5/13 P&G insert, its the mother day issue with a picture of a mother daughter and granddaughter on the cover.

I tried to do the Garnier deal & It did not work for me & when I went to customer service this particular rep did not give me the cat(she is one that thinks that ‘all’ Cat deals are based on sales price) so I returned the order, the Pantene deal worked for me as well as the Sundown deal. Ughhh I am down to only 4 BOGO Pantene Q’s left, but I have used alot of them already-love Pantene!!!!!!!
Did you check the shelf prices at your particular SR? When I went today, when I checked the “shelf price” of the Garnier shampoo, I noticed it said $2.99 instead of the actually price. Which I find odd, since in their ad for this week, it says save $0.50.
Yes mines did too but in the left bottom corner of the tag it said after $.30 savings or something like that, also I couldn’t scan it at the self scanner because they both were broke…..

I am shopping for my local food pantry that has recently tripled in patrons. I donated 16 shampoos 2 weeks ago, and they’re gone. Looking to restock them. I went to shop rite and the cashier said I wasn’t able to use both BoGO q’s and manufacters q’s bc they are the same

yeah my Shoprite doesn’t allow BOGO with cents off coupons. It’s either one or the other for them.

I think so, it is buy 4 Pantene use 2 BOGO’s & 1 – $3/2 q I am waiting to try this later tonight when I have to go out.
what are sundown products
They are in the vitamin aisle, they are also hard to find amongst all the other supplements. It is among the lesser “brands” of vitamins. HTH!
Yeah the Garnier shampoo didn’t come up as a Price Plus Sale; just a regular sale. The price checkers were all down, or I would have seen that first. The person in the office was a total bitch and argued with me. I said it’s supposed to be based on the pre-price plus amount not AFTER the price plus coupon and it was just a fiasco. She said oh no, you don’t get it on the “regular price” .. it’s based on what you actually pay… which of course made no sense because I had coupons and didn’t pay $15 anyway. Price plus is a coupon. Turns out even though the tag on the shelf said “price plus sale” it was coded as a regular sale and I just didn’t have the time or patience to argue this one.
And one more thing, the tag for the shampoo on the shelf said $3.49 as the main price and then $2.99 after price plus.

Anyone know if we can use multiple $10 CATs from last weeks gift card deals in one transaction or do you need to break them up into multiple transactions? I have 5 I need to use this week.
I believe they have to be separate. Plus, it should say what the minimum spent is to use them. Some said $5 and some said $10 minimum.
I was told I can use up to 4 a while back and then last night, the head cashier said just one. They really have no idea themselves!
I used all three in one transaction. After the first one went through I just asked the cashier if she could try to put the second one through to see if it would work, and it did. So I used all three. I’m thinking it will depend on the store/cashier.

It says on the Cat that you can only use one per transaction.
I tried to use my $10 cats from last week and they all beeped for some reason and had to be put through manually. She had to suspend my self check out transaction and do it at the front end manager’s station. Then I wound up having to do a debit for the change 3x in a row (literally change – like 59 cents or so) b/c she couldn’t accept cash at her station. What a pain in the tush! And if that wasn’t bad enough, it took a team of 4 people to figure out how on Earth the coupon clipper coupons for the meat worked! I had my lists together and spend about 45 minutes actually shopping, and the other 45 minutes was spent in the self checkout lane with 4 SR employees! Bet they were happy to see me leave!

They really just should have let us use the $10 Cats together to save themselves a headache. All coupons over $5 (I believe that’s the number) require overrides at my SR. Not that I don’t like $10 catalinas, but I wish they would do something to fix this when they are the ones offering the $10 off!! (I understand for manufacturer or internet coupons, of course) I may be shopping a different SR until they forget about me after this week…LOL. I wish we had SCO to save the others behind me the grief of all the coupon checking and overrides, etc. I even offered to let someone else go in front of me and tried to tell them it takes a while, but they don’t like to do that.

If Shoprite would get their s*** together and their cashier’s informed, maybe people wouldn’t have to get all put out to do these transactions.
WOW – I am so envious of you guys for scoring these deals! I got the PG coupon $3/2 but for some odd reason, my newspaper that came to my house did NOT carry the PANTENE coupons!!! =( someone took the insert for that weekend. I really hope this deal comes back soon…I’m down to my last bottle of pantene shampoo 2 in 1…i just love this brand.
Order them if you can. I bought some on eBay. Hope I get them soon.

becareful Pantene deal does wont work with cat deal at shoprite if u buy 3.88 pant on sale make sure u buy 4.99 or 5.77 pant .i have to return 4 i got for 5.18 no cat printed up
Thanks for heads up, I got a couple of Pantenes priced at $5.77 because the only one Pantene item priced at $4.99 sold out. It was interesting that the cashier took off $5.77 instead of the max $4.99. I didn’t notice until I got home.

The garnier deal was a total fiasco for me, too. I was told that I have to spend $15 after coupons to get the $5 catalina. But, I did use the $10 gift card catalina with that transaction and was in hurry, so didn’t return anything and left.
I’m still a little confused by the combined use of the BOGO and $3/2 Pantene coupons. Will the register accept both if I buy 4 Pantenes and use 2 BOGOs and 1 $3/2?
In other words, is this a circumstance where self-checkout is the way to go? (Is the issue more the cashier and what they think, and not that this is actually not allowed?)
I would like to know this as well. Since both coupons are listed in the new coding, we cant use our old tricks to figure this out without testing. Im sure someone will crack the code, or already has and I havnt seen it yet
I did it at 2 different stores today. 4 bottles and used 2 bogo and 1 $3/2 coupons. I gave them the $3/2 coupon on top of coupon pile and bogo coupons last. They had to manually put in the $4.99 for each bogo coupon because that was the max allowed by the coupon. I did it 2 times at 2 different stores without a problem. They were out of the classic for $4.99 so had to get the ones for $5.77. I hope it works for you! With 3 girls with long hair in the house we go through so much shampoo and conditioner.
Cat, that is so smart! I usually put my BOGOs on top because they’re a big PIA for the cashier and they have to get the manager to put it through-so I like to get them out of the way- but putting them last would basically accomplish the same thing. Plus- they would have all the “problem” coupons out of the way and wouldn’t have to call the mgr back a second time. You have no idea how helpful this is!!
Bought 40 bottles today to give to my neighbors and dads friends who were recently laid off. West Hartford and Bristol shoprite let me use (4) b1 g2 free and (1)$3/2 for every 8 I purchased not (2) like other stores hope this helps.
