Important Note: You cannot earn a Gift Card if your total (before coupons) is less then $5. So, buying 3 of the Nivea Tins at $0.87 will not trigger the gift card.

Can you roll the gift card? What I mean is… Can you use the $5 gift card on your second purchase and still recover another one?

Target had an offer on their Facebook page a couple weeks ago for a free beauty bag that came with samples & a Target coupon book inside it. They just came in the mail for the people that did it

Do you need $5 in Nivea products to trigger the gift card? Or just at least $5 in your purchase??
I did this deal today. Yes, you can roll the GCs.
When you check out and they scan three Nivea items totaling $5 or more, they scan a GC and hand it to you. Then you give them your coupons. Then if you’ve done the deal previously, you can pay with the previous gift cards.
Did anyone else have trouble when buying the little tins? My target would not let me get them as part of the deal
If the shelf tag has them marked as part of the deal, they are. Some Targets include different products sometimes. Check the shelf tags

I didn’t get Nivea coupons on 4/29 but I got them yesterday in RP insert.
Can I buy $10 in 1 transaction and get 2 -$5 GC?
Yes…. I did 4- 1.7 oz hand creams @ 3.59 each and 8- tins @ .87 each at one time and got 4-$5 GC’s …. It was an awesome day for me…. 2 Targets 5 transactions … and I picked up 2 dresses for my grand-daughter …started with $25 GC and ended with $40 in GCs ….YAY!!!!
can I buy 6 tins at $0.87 for a total of $5.22? Then use one $1/1 Target coupon for a total of $4.22 after coupons? I don’t have the other RP Nivea coupons. It’s still a MM….do you think this will work?
I would guess this won’t work since the deal is for when you buy 3 – it will not count the total for the 6 items, only for 3 of them.
All I have from red plum 4/29 is $1 off the $2 off ones are for the bodywashes
I went this morning and got the deal, then went back this afternoon after checking my Sunday paper because I had another $1 off Nivea lotion from that.
From 11am – 5pm they had restocked all the Nivea products and I found some of the full size lotions with free, attached lip gloss (yay!) I noticed they also had taken the deal advert sign off of the small nivea tins. HOWEVER, I took them up to the register and asked if they were still part of the sale, and they rang up as part of the $5 gift card promo still.
yes, my store also didnt have the deal sign on the little tins! my guess is that they don’t want unknowning ppl coming in the store and figuring it out , or that they want to avoid ppl trying to buy just 3 tins and trying to get the gc.
still….2 tins @ 87cents + 1 moisturizer @ $3.59 – $2 in coupons -$5 gc = $1.67 money maker! woohoo
I didn’t get Nivea coupons on 4/29 but I got them in yesterday’s RP.
I went to DE target this morning, all small Nivea tins were gone. Target rep. mentioned to me that two customers came and wiped us out of all of these. We all have to wait for restock until this Thursday.
I went to my Target today and bought the two tins and one lip gloss – totaling over $5 before coupons and it did not trigger the $5 gift card…???
lip gloss didnt have gc sign at my store. that might have been your problem. you can most definitely return it
Bought 2 tins and 1 lotion for $5.39 and no gc printed. Will return as not in mood to argue with c.s.

I did the same deal as yours and the GC printed (this was on Monday). However, when I did the deal yesterday (Thursday), making sure I had the correct items, no GC was triggered. So annoying! Dropped them off at CS. Perhaps its no longer valid.
Same here, any deals using the small tins is not working anymore. …in Deptford, NJ
tired with target…., I never take printed coupons to that store…. and now I am stuck with Nivea lotions…. going back to target for return…. ofcourse i tried 4 deals of nivea to get the gc… all involing 1 lotion and 2 tin… NO LUCK
Next time if the gift card isnt activated at the register, just tell them you don’t want to purchase the items. Or go to customer service after purchasing to find out why the advertised gift card was not given. That way you don’t have to go through the hassle of returning them.
