I don’t do Walgreens very often but I’m all over the skintamate deal. Does anyone know if those rr’s on the skintamate will roll? Unlike CVS I don’t always see the Walgreens ad say something like limit 1 or limit 2. Thanks if anyone knows!
They usually don’t roll on the same item.
I have never had Walgreen’s RR’s roll. I learned the hard way…
Amanda, The RR at Walgreens DO NOT usually roll. Last few weeks their RR for Kotex was rolling BUT that was a fluke! I think they caught on cause I went on Thursday and bought the Kotex and it RR DID NOT roll. I think they caught it! You can always try but, it doesn’t usually happen. HTH!
RR at Wags do not usually roll. There have been exception though.

My Walgreens will roll over …I’ve been rolling over the Kotex deal. I plan on rolling over a lot of this stuff.
Brooke, if your Walgreens allows you to roll RR thats GREAT! I go to 3 different Wags and they don’t roll and won’t give you the RR if you use it on the same product. The Kotex was rolling by luck for me. Good Luck!

There is a coupon for 1.50/1 in 5/6 RP for Ecotrin making them free if you have 2 coupons plus recieve your RR for $2.

Okay I’m back and I did 3 transactions. My colgate RR DID roll, my skintamate RR did NOT roll. Also my Walgreens had a sign saying sorry for the inaccurate advertising but the skintimate sale and RR deal is only on the shaving cream, NOT the shave gel. So naturally I got the cream, used my $1/1 coupons and got it free after RR. Left with $3 RR and may try the colgate for fourth time another day but wanted to give them a break from me because the girl was so nice and patient.
I don’t see where it says that you receive $2 in RR for 2 ecotrin’s? I want to make sure because I don’t want to buy them and not get an RR and have to return it, that’s embarrassing. Does anyone know where it says it in print? thanks.
It’s in the ad. I got some on Sunday and it worked fine.
GRRRRR!!! I just had such a frustrating experience at a Walgreens I don’t usually frequent. I bought the Skintimate, 2 Ecotrin, 1 Colgate and the first aid gel. I used coupons for the first four items. NO register rewards printed! I asked about it and was told it was because I used coupons. I said, “What about the gel?” The clerk couldn’t respond and called the manager. He offered to give me a mail in rebate and I said, “No thanks!” I returned everything and left. I know coupons don’t invalidate RR. I’m debating calling Walgreens corporate. I wonder how many other customers get ripped off?
Laura – I was in the same situation once. I used coupons and did not get the RR. I emailed the corporate to ask for clarification and got a generic response that ‘we encourage coupons, and coupons do not invalidate the RR’ . However, that was the end of it – nobody offered any compensation etc. I just gave up…
This happened to me and I wrote to Walgreens and the manager of the store e-mailed me and offered to fix it which was nice. He told me that between 12am and 3am I believe it was, that the RR machine shuts down. So, just in case you are going to Walgreens in the middle of the night like I do, that could be why it’s not printing out but of course the cashiers have no clue. I’ve also encountered the machine being out of paper too. So it’s probably one of those 2 things and the cashiers think it’s the coupons.
You’re probably right- cashier just thinks it’s the coupons. You would think that at some point, such as after so many people call managers etc, that they would decide it behooves them to just explain how coupons work to their employees.

My Walgreen’s was out of the Ectorin, the 1st aid gel and the Youththerory, so asked for rainchecks for all items. The manager would only give my the raincheck for the item price, not the RR too. I’ve always been able to get the rr written on the raincheck. She said it was a new policy, but agreed to write them out with the RR for one last time. I’m planning to call the 800# to check, but if that is the case, I give up on Walgreen. It’s not close enough to my house to make a trip there on the hope that they will have the items in stock. Their stocking system is a joke. It’s just right to put an item on sale without ordering enough of the item.
