This might be a silly question and I’m not sure if you know that answer, but do you have to pay taxes on freebies/samples you receive?
and what about when you get a free product/coupon from a company off of FB or twitter (example: Eddy’s ice-cream coupon, or Olay freebie friday)
def not in the us….ive been doing the free samples for years now and have never had to pay tax
as for the coupons for a freebie…depends on the store. normally you have to but when it comes to the CVS i shop at, it will automatically take the tax right off! hope this helps@
