No huge remodeling plans, but some new throw rugs and shower curtain would brighten up the bathroom.

I plan on ripping up the walkway and putting new pavers down. Not really decorating, more of a home improvement.

Im taking photos from a couple of last years calendars, putting them in light weight plastic frame/boxes and putting them on the walls. I usually rotate these photos each year but havent gotten to it yet. Im also going to paint the living room, get a new couch, new shades/window treatments. Maybe an area rug too.
We have a new baby on the way due in September. so we are going to turn our guest room into a room our our 20 month old daughter and the new baby will go into her old room. We are going to turn it into a pink princess room. We have to paint and redo the floors before we can add any furniture. I’ve been going to yard sales looking for furniture and so far I’ve only found pink lamps. It’s a big project but our daughter is worth it.
I’m having photos taken of my kids and plan to decorate my family room walls with those and a few other ideas I have seen on pinterest! Plus we are refinishing our kitchen cabinets and want to come up with a decorating scheme for in there!

I plan on stripping c.1975 wallpaper in my guest bath and replacing the papered walls with paint and a bamboo stencil.
Since I just bought my first home, there is a lot of decorating to be done. I am so excited to decorate the entire house. I have painted all the walls already (since unable to do so as a renter). The backyard also needs some sprucing up with some flowers and possible vegetable plants.

this summer we are taking out the ugly orange tiles from my mom’s kitchen and redecorating her it with a much nicer color scheme all around. Its going to be our mother/daughters project. After that we plan on taking on her living room which also needs a little help.

Planting flowers along the front of the house!
Last year we had a very unfortunate experience… Our only full bathroom leaked and came thru our ceiling in the kitchen. We ended up having to spend $6000 on a new bathroom upstairs but by the time we were done we had no money left to repair the holes in our kitchen ceiling. We are in the process of finally finishing it this year. Sprucing up any room would be a great gift after that year long disaster!!

I’ve bought thermal curtains to save energy and am planning on buying a toaster oven to save having to turn on my big oven, thus heating up the house.

living room redo!
I have started on my little re-decorating. I don’t really sew and this is my first DIY project. Made throw pillows in fun summery colors for the family room. Took me a long time to finish them but hubby said they look really nice (he should really say that… LOL). Next is the cover for our dining room chairs. Hope I can finish them before summer is over.
Finish working on the master bath and get a patio set!

We’ve been trying to redo our laundry room, which includes removing some walls, pulling up the old laminate, and refacing the whole area with new paint, wall tiles, and cabinets.
We have been remodeling our Kitchen for 4 years. My husband has been faithfully doing all the work himself. Hopefully, we will finish that and begin painting other areas in our house. The remodels were put on hold due to the birth of our two sons.
My kitchen needs some major help in the decorating department. I have one large blank wall that I would love to paint, add a few shelves, etc. I would also love to do something with my laundry room so that it doesn’t feel like I am entering a dungeon each time I walk in the room. My eldests son room could also use some help. He moved into what was once the play room so he is living with bright blue walls and a pink carpet!!!
