Price Chopper Coupon: $5 Off $20 Produce Purchase

Price Chopper has a great new coupon available on their Facebook page for $5 off a $20 produce purchase.  Coupon is good through 6/30/12 . The coupon states that it may be combined with one manufacturer’s coupon per product purchased.  This can make for an awesome deal on produce…who ever said coupons aren’t available on healthy foods?  This is a perfect example of how you use coupons and eat well!

There are lots of great prices on produce this week at Price Chopper, including Driscoll’s Blueberries or Raspberries for $1.99 each, Bananas $0.49/lb, Iceberg Lettuce for $1 and Earthbound Farm Organic Carrots for $1.99 each.  Use the $0.75/1 Earthbound Organic Coupons you have printed (currently NLA to print, new one available tomorrow morning) to score carrots for only $0.49 each.  If you print the Earthbound Coupon as it’s available each week, check your binders for unused coupons for the below deal idea, as the expiration dates on these coupons are a few weeks out each time I print them.

Here is a deal idea with this Price Chopper coupon:

  • It’s my understanding that the EBF coupons have “Do Not Double” printed on them. You might try to get it doubled, but a sharp cashier may see the fine print. Also, from what I’ve experienced, and as it’s explained in their coupon policy, they will NOT double a coupon if the price you pay after doubling is less than half the price of the product. First they make their gas rewards more restrictive, now they make their coupon policy less consumer friendly – it;s like they want to drive us away.

  • Joe,
I learned to put all of my coupons below 99 cent value first, then my $1.00 coupons, then Price Chopper coupons, then competitor coupons.
In that order the below 99 cent value coupons do double before the register comes to the 1/2 shopping trip value usually, and then the $1 or more coupons just go through as the rest.
If you have your below 99 cent value coupons mixed in and the register hits the 1/2 of shopping trip, you lose out and the below 99 cent will not double. I do ask the cashiers not to change the order.
