ShopRite: Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Catalina Update
As many of you have found, the Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Catalina Deal, which is advertised as Buy Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut cereal and get a $2 Catalina, does not seem to be working for everyone. Or, I should say, not working for most of us.
Before I posted the Catalina Deal, I made sure to check with Catalina Marketing to be sure that it was a deal that was offered to everyone and not specific Price Price cards. Their answer was yes, it’s for everyone. And so I posted it.
After hearing that it wasn’t print, I reached out to them again but I have not been able to get a definite answer yet. However, I do know that they are sending out the $2 catalinas if it didn’t print for you.
To request your catalina, you must have your register receipt and you can submit your info through the Catalina Marketing Support page.
I had this problem at stop and shop in chelmsford, ma. I called catalina today, and they said they would mail be a $2 catalina.

Thanks for the info. I realized after getting home from SR that I did not receive the $2 CAT for the Crunchy Nut Cereal. I have already sent them my info so hopefully I will get the CAT before Sunday. Anyone know how long it usually takes to receive it?
When my $2 cat didn’t print I immediately returned the cereal. I won’t pay full price on cereal when I know I can get it cheaper. I went to Superfresh the next day (last day of their sale) and got 4 boxes for a total of $1.70. That’s about $0.42/box. Now that’s what I’m talking about!
Could you tell me about SR’s Return Policy?.. I’d like to return a box of cereal too.. thanks..
I have asked them their return policy and they said as long as you have your receipt they will pretty much take back any item (except books and magazines). At least that was at mine in NJ.

That’s the policy my store follows also. They even gave me my coupon back since I went straight from the self check out lane to the customer service desk.
I returned itemwhich used coupon but they gave me full price ,before coupon price for refund. I was told since they could not return the coupon I used but they would claim coupon to the manufacture. ShopRite is the only one do this way.
thank you hanna.. that was the next question in my mind.. the store will anyways get the coupon re-imbursed from Manufacturer. So we must be paid the item price before coupon.. I hope my local store doesn’t give me any trouble
I tried using that link but when I put in the letters/numbers for the question “What are the complete row of numbers following the date & time on your receipt?” it highlights it in red and says to “Please enter a numeric value.” I don’t know what the problem is but I guess I’ll have to e-mail or call them.
I had this problem, eventually found another date & time toward the end of the reciept that was followed by only numbers–time was different too–the time I actually paid (not started checkout I assume).
Same thing happened to me. I retyped the numbers and left out the letters and then I was allowed to continue.
I contacted them also and they said the promotion is targeting certain card holders and my card number was not included, but they are sending me a courteous one-time fulfillment request.

I submitted online and got an email saying the offer was for only certain card numbers, mine not included, but that they were sending a one-time courtesy coupon anyway.
I thought the crunchy nut would be good but i think its awful
Really? I love that cereal, just had a bowl a few minutes ago! I think it tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios!
If you got a print out about the cat during a previous purchase does that mean you are one of the card holders that this is suppose to work for?

Mine did print out, but I recieved a cat last week letting me know about the deal.
Boy, the hoops you have to jump through for coupons!!
I am a bit disappointed as I just received an email from them stating that my card was not one of the ones selected as part of the marketing campaign and that I should go to customer service at my supermarket if I should have any questions. I guess this means I will not be getting the $2 CAT .

Emailed them today, bought one in Stop and Shop but did not get it either.. hope I get a one time fullfillment atleast.
I recieved the same respone from CAT that my card was not included and they would not be sending me anything.
They wouldn’t send me a $2 cat either. This is what they said –
Catalina Marketing prints coupons only based on the conditions set by retailer. Inclusion and exclusion of items or UPCs are also controlled by retailer only.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact the store in which you made this purchase, they may be able to assist with this issue.
I’m confused.
I also got the same response today from them. Grr. Guess I’m out the $2.
