Wow, this is an awesome deal if you can find these gift packs at your local Walmart! The Father’s Day Schick Gift Packs have been reported to be marked down to $5 in many stores. $5 is a good deal for these packs, as they contain a razor, deodorant, shave cream and 6 refill cartridges! However to make this deal even sweeter, you can use the $4/1 Schick coupon from the 6/10/12 SmartSource insert, to score these gift packs for only $1! The $4/1 is specifically for the razor. Since it’s a gift pack and there are multiple items in it, wouldn’t that constitute using a coupon not intended for it’s purpose? It’s like using the $4 coupon to also get a discount on the deodorant and the shaving cream.
Just a heads up – here in Florida this past weekend I tried to use my last Schick Hydro Razor Coupon in my local Walmart. I picked up the “gift pack” that they had for 5.97.. had the razor and a can of skintimate shaving cream. The cashier absolutely REFUSED to take my coupon even though there were no exclusions. She saw that the picture had the razor with the refill cartridge and was 9.97 in the store and consequently told me I could go buy that item to use the coupon. The customer service manager came over and I explained how there were no exclusions on it, but again the cashier jumped in and talked him out of it. Hope your experiences are better than mine!!
did the coupon beep? or did she just refuse to take it?
ALWAYS ask for the “MOD” Manager On Duty, be polite, and even if the lousy cashier states their opinion, the MOD will not care what they say and make his/her own decision. I had this happen with an aquafresh toothpaste. The MOD was great! He also had a great personality! Unlike the cashier and the front end manager. It was the “one per purchase” issue, HTH!
LOL! I’m starting to think that ‘Refused Couponing’ might be an interesting reality show.

Just got one a walmart Toms river. They were shelf priced 9.97 but i checked the price at the price check and they were $5. The coupon didnt go trough but the cashier was nice and she puts it in manually.

My walmart had 4, coupon beeped and they refused to take it. Is anyone else sick and tired of Walmart managers being completely indecisive and changing their policies whenever they feel like it? They have the best coupon policy around and yet they are the hardest place to use coupons at.
The coupon is for the razor so they are completely right when they refuse to allow a specific item coupon to be used on a multiple item package. It’s coupon fraud every time it’s used.
why would this be considered coupon Fraud Joe is she not purchasing the razor??? the items included with the razor are considered a gift pack hence the word gift pack bonus. Cindy what is your thoughts on people commenting that this deal is coupon fraud
I have always felt that these gift packs were fine to use as long as the item that the coupon was intended for is included in the gift pack. There are no restrictions on the coupon to tell you that you can not use it on any kind of bonus pack. If the pack was smaller and had a razor along with a bonus shaving cream you would use the razor coupon. This is a larger bonus pack and should still be fine.
Didn’t see any at the deptford store. They were still marked $9.99

found 3 in wilmington, de but the cashier and the manager said they cannot accept the coupon because it was for the gift pack and could not manually put it in if it beeped
None at the Easton/Nazareth PA Walmart
Lots of them at the Blackwood/Turnersville store, located on a back endcap by the cosmetics department. They were marked $9.97, and I didn’t buy one so I’m not sure if there was any issue with the coupons or if they were ringing up any cheaper. HTH.
None in Danbury, CT Walmart.

Anyone seen any Northen NJ?
I tried my Walmart here in Charlotte with no luck. I did however find that the Schick Hydro (‘Starter’) Razors were on sale for $5.77 each. So I attempted to use my 3 $4/1 q’s which would make them $1.77 each. Even better is that I had to overage from the Bayer asprin which would make the razors like $0.95. At checkout the register kept beeping and would not take my q’s. The MOD said it was probably b/c it said “starter” on the package and would not take q’s. I left without the razors. Still got the Bayer asprin and Cutter candles FREE.
I was lucky enough to find the last three in my local walmart in Rockaway NJ. I didn’t have any problems with the coupons. Sorry to hear so many of you did have issues. They were located in the back of the store in a clearance carriage.
