I did the Back to School deal. The Cat says “Save $7 off your next back to school supplies purchase of $7 or more. Fine print just states the standard exclusions like alcoholic beverages and lottery tickets. It does not state what they consider school supplies. I’m wondering if it would just take $7 off the next order, since groceries are used for school lunches LOL
Sorry, just saw the question. I used the cat at self checkout on normal groceries and it scanned no problem. I went to use another one (did the deal twice) and had a problem with a breyers coupon scanning and asked for help and the woman noticed my cat and flipped out. I just bought it and kept the cat for another time. However, when i looked at the ad again it seems like they are consideing the items participating in the promotion as back to school so why wouldn’t any other grocery item be considered as back to school? She didn’t want to hear any arguments, so I will just go back when she isnt there and make sure that all my coupons scan.

The mentioned coupon is only for the Original Crust, which is the next size larger and is not on sale. $3.59 I think. The $1 pizzas are the Crispy Crust, single serving size.

Got the heilmans mayo for 2.99 and then used the $1.00 coupon and out popped an a&p .75 cent off coupon which doubled making the total for this item .49. spent 52.65 with this order and saved 76.49. love a&p!
So you’re saying you used the $1 manufacturers coupon for the mayo and then also scanned the 75c and it worked and doubled? Wow.. I also got the coupon but did not try it! I was actually rather upset to find that it was only the 22 ounce size not the 32 ounce jar. Eventually decided to buy it anyway. Paid under $7 for 2 Starbucks (regularly $5.49 at my overpriced A&P) and 2 Hellmann’s mayo and got $7 OYNO.
Was pleasantly surprised to see that the OYNO is valid thru 8/16.
Just made my shopping trip and I had a couple problems my .50 dawn coupon didn’t double, my .80 pure silk coupon didn’t double and my bic coupon wouldn’t scan at all for the white out. Just wanted to give everyone a heads ups to check those closely.
Yes not letting you use 2 coupons on B1G1F items is a major pain. Bad enough they make you buy two by not making it a half price sale like Shoprite would do but then to not allow you to use a second coupon. Tells you what they think of their customers.

Oh well, not going to complain because the end result is still a good deal. Hope I can find an awesome deal on school supplies before the cat expires.
