  • Cute – love the cherry on top! You can also make brownies in the cones.

  • Ive been making these for years but I ice mine to look like a soft serve cone! They’re always a big hit!

  • I made these once and it didnt work out like I had hoped. In the receipe I had it said to fill and bake upright, They kept falling over and they were all uneven and some overflowed, it was a disaster. I like this receipe better as you flip the cup into them. Will need to try again and see what happens.

  • any good ideas about how to transport these? i want to make them for my son’s birthday, but would have to get them from my house to the party site.

    • If u have a Christmas ornament box that has a snug spot for each ornament it should work…I transport cupcakes that way…u may have to secure them with tissue paper or something as the cones are slimmer than cupcakes:)

    • I have a friend that makes these and she used empty roll holders (toilet paper, paper towels, wrapping paper) to transport them. Of course she put some work into them but it worked and was a great idea. She cut the rolls the right height of the cone, then used left over wrapping paper and contact paper to decorate the rolls and the box to put them in. Extend the contact paper off the ends of the rolls to secure them to the box, using extra clear tape if necessary for more support. Make the box tall enough so you cover it with foil or plastic without smashing the tops of the cones. It looked really cute when she brought them to work this way.
