    • LRWC

      Thanks, it’s been fixed :)

  • euny

what is stop and shop coupon policy on BOGO promotion… if i use BOGO coupon on BOGO promotion, do you get it for free?

    • rj

      yes u can! its great!

      • Michelle

Do you know how many we can use in one transaction? Can I use 2? Thanks for any info.

        • Lady J

i was wondering the same thing. I don’t like to do multiple transactions. I’d rather do it all at once – if possible.

          • Arianna

            I used two no problem!

  • Shana

The coupon for .60/1 Cinnamon Toast Crunch is for the treats or bars. How will it work for the cereal deal?

    • LRWC

That wasn’t meant to go there. You can’t use that coupon for the cereal deal. Just so many coupons to put in that list, a small oversight, sorry about that.

  • Nicole

Okay not sure if this will work but hear me out

Bull’s Eye is on sale 3/5, if you buy 5 items you get 5.00 off meat.

Whole cut chicken is on sale 1.49/lb

    Meat- 1.49*5lbs =$7.45
    BBQ- 1.66*5= $8.30

    (5) Use 1/1 Bull’s Eye Peelie (on bottles a few weeks ago)
    (5) $ 1off when you buy 1 lb of meat and BBQ sauce (store SS Coupon)(on shelf at store)

    Total is $15.75 Before Coupons

    -5 instant savings
    -5 Bull’s Eye Coupons
    -5 Meat and BBQ Coupon

.75 for 5lbs of chicken and 5 BBQ Sauce

    • LRWC

Not 100% sure that would work if the BBQ sauce is tied to both coupons, you may only be able to use one of them. If the coupon said $1 off meat when you buy BBQ Sauce maybe, but the register still may take it off the bulls eye, and if that happens then you won’t be able to use your peelies

  • Steve

Please Clarify on the Birds Eye deal for the Chef’s Favorites
If you buy 6 @ 2.00 each that is 12.00 minus the 2.00 savings is 10.00
Minus the (6) .50 off coupons all doubled is 6.00.
That means 12.00 minus 8.00 total savings is 4.00 for all 6.
    You have 2.00 for (6)?

    • LRWC

Sorry about that, I think I was working on doing it for buying 6 and forgot to add the extra $2 in. Sometimes when doing so many deals my head explodes and I make an error with my math. Thanks for catching it :)

    • Michelle T.

Steve, it’s a typo. The sale is 5/$10, minus (5) .50 coupons, doubled, is down to $5, minus $2 savings comes to $3 for all, unless I’m missing something :)

  • Amanda

Do you.know.if there is a limit on the instant savingsdeals?

    • Jen

      Amanda,
I’ve done instant savings deal in the past, and it is once per transaction. I never did my transactions back to back, but I would go the following day to do another deal and it always worked.

      • RG

One or two weeks ago, I did the TLC / Kashi instant savings and had 3 qualifying sets in one transaction — all 3 instant savings came off of it! In the past, I was doing back-to-back transactions (so, all in the same day) and those worked too.

        • Lady J

i wouldn’t trust it all in one transaction. But my S&S tells me you are not allowed to get Instant Savings if you use q’s. I always insist they give it to me, b/c the ad doesn’t say you that you can’t use q’s. They always give me the money, but it is a fight. They know they are wrong, but most people don’t fight, so they win.

Can anyone confirm if the Kool Aid deal as listed works? I’d only be paying $4 out of pocket because of the buy 10-get 10 deal and it looks like the catalina prints only with spending $5 or more out of pocket (or does this deal include money that I saved through the buy 10-get 10 deal toward the total required to print out the catalina). Thanks for your help!

    • Becky

I did the Kool Aid deal today – I purchased 40 total packages and I received a $3.00 Catalina back – but that’s because it was $0.28 a package where I shopped (Somerset, NJ). It does go by the pre-sale price though, so you should receive the $2.00 Catalina if your store has them for $0.20.

thank you, Cindy- you save me hours with the matchups
Excellent couponing week at stop and shop!

Had a bit of s problem with the stayfree coupons. They beeped and manager had to be called over. They could not get them to wwork, in the end she had to put my coupons through as cash. All said and done I got 5 free today and have 15 more coupons to use. Hoping they work better at Shoprite on sunday.

  • Desiree

Tried the BOGO fish with Bogo Coupon and the Store Manager in Holyoke MA told me that I could not get the two for free because I could not get 2 for free. First she tried to say that I was “doubling” the BOGO coupon. I explained that I was stacking the BOGO coupon with the BOGO sale- she wouldn’t budge.
Then she tried to say that I had to pay for one item no matter what. I tried to explain that – that is what the manufacturer coupon is doing.
Any ideas? or am I misunderstanding the terminology?

  • Leslie

The ALL detergent is only 2.99 in my area and with the cpn double its 1.49.

  • Cindy F.

Saw the Smuckers Uncrustables on sale for $2.50. If you still have $1/1 coupon will make it $1.50.

  • Anonymous

I’m tempted to do the Coke/Pop tarts/Nutri-grain scenario as Cindy suggests but is this a mail in rebate to get the $10? if yes, would it qualify since the total after coupons is less than $25?? I know we can get away with it if its for a catalina but it might not work for mail in. I’d hate to find out later it didn’t qualify.

  • Linda

My Stop n Shop on Long Island, NY does not have the Buy 4 get $4 instantly. Their deal is Buy 4, Save $.30 per gallon on gas.

    • Loretta

If you look all the way at the top before the match ups Cindy does let you know some areas have gas rewards :)

    • Jennifer

Cindy is in New Jersey and gets the instant savings. I believe all other states get the gas deals.

  • Linda

They also do not have Buy 7, Save $4 instantly. They are offering Buy 7, save $.30 per gallon on gas.

  • Lesley S

I used four BOGO Parchment Bake Coupons, at the Naugatuck, CT Stop and Shop and the register beeped but only for the amount of the product was. The cashier ran it no problem after he typed them in. He took all four without any issues. I’ll be honest I was nervous since I did grab eight of them to stock in my freezer and I only had a certain amount of cash on me! I had picked up barilla pasta as well to make sure there wasn’t a zero amount.

  • RG

I have a $0.50 off 1 Barilla tri-colored rotini on my S&S card — not sure if that’s available to everyone, but if you register your S&S card and grab that offer, hopefully they will let you use it with this deal. It doesn’t double, though, so you’ll pay the difference (in my area, the pasta is $0.88, so it’s not as bad as the $0.50 difference in some areas).

  • Kristen

I did the Kool-aid. My store had them for 29 cents not 20 cents. I still bought 40 and I ended up getting a $3 catalina which made them 7 cents each. Not bad! I’ll be mixing it with the Domino Sugar & Stevia Mix for a low calorie Crystal Light-ish type drink. I also did the St. Ives (without the coupon, I couldnt find it on their facebook…but I was almost out and i dont usually see deals on this scrub) and I did the Zeiglers Lemonade also. It all worked out great!

  • Shane

The Oral B toothbrushes are on the gas deal (300 points) in Connecticut ($4 off instantly in NJ) this week and I bought 3 today and there is also a $2 Catalina deal when you buy 3 which makes it a pretty sweet deal!

  • Colleen

At my Giant last night, I did the buy 5 get $5 off meat/seafood/poultry. In the meat section, there was a display of Bullseye BBQ sauce, along with tearpads for .50 off each. I scored 5 of the bbq sauce for $3.30, got $5 off my meat (purchased Perdue ground chicken 2/$6, which also had $1 off each store meat peelies, bringing the total meat price down to $4). Total OOP was $2.30 for 5 bottles of BBQ sauce and 2 lbs. of Ground Chicken. I also got 12 boxes of the Mrs. Paul’s Parchment Baked Fish for free with the BOGO sale + BOGO internet coupons that were available. I scanned at self checkout and at first the coupon wouldn’t take but I covered the left (shorter) bar code and scanned the one on the right, and it scanned perfect and took off $5.99 for each. Such an awesome deal!!!!

    • Colleen

I forgot to mention, I did this deal at Giant of Maryland, which runs the same sales as Stop & Shop.

I send my husband out to do my shopping while I watch the kids and he often has trouble with the cashiers at my Stop & Shop. They gave him a hard time doing the GM cereal deal saying that he could only use one Reeses Puffs cereal per trip. I told him that it means only one coupon per item and that most coupons state this meaning that you cannot use more than one coupon per item. Any suggestions?

    • Laura D.

I’ve run into the same problem. I now have a “one coupon per purchase; limit 4 like coupons per transaction, etc” sample coupon (its a P&G) in my purse now ready for the next time. The word purchase does translate into item, not transaction. Haven’t had the opportunity to try it out yet, but it should make them question they’re position of meaning one per transaction I hope :/

      • Anonymous

Good idea! I’ll try to find a sample coupon to keep with me. I also have printed out explanations of what the coupon terminology means since the language can be confusing.

  • Linda Hughes

My Stop& Shop would not accept the BOGO coupon for the Parchment Bake, I will try another store when i pass there later in the week.

    • http://blog.hestermania.com leah

      Linda, which Stop & Shop?

  • Jenrn

BOGO Van de Camps parchment variety-worked well at Methuen, MA store But one out of two coupons did beep and have to be manually entered by another head cashier/
It seems that certain stores do not even know their own coupon policy’s though..we had issues at Target today which was very frustrating but still scored some amazing deals on Campbells soup bowls.

  • Desiree

I finally went to a different store and they put them through with out a problem. They understood that one BOGO was the store sale, the other was a manufacturer coupon. So I got 8 boxes. My husband loves fish so he is really happy. Thank you all for your suggestions. :)

  • Matthew

When I did the spend $25 get $10 Visa GC deal today, I also received a Catalina for free milk. Morris county, NJ. The 4 cereals probably triggered it.

  • Winzelinie

Parade magazine, in the sunday paper inserts, had 2 coupons for $2.50 off a covergirl product.

  • Mario

How many of the same coupon can you use in one transaction at stop and shop? I have like 10 .75/1 pickles. Can I use more then 4 in the same transaction or is their limit 4?

  • Desiree

Only 4 like coupons in one transaction.

    • Loretta

it’s a maximum of 12 like coupons with only the first 4 doubling at Stop & Shop :)it’s listed in there coupon policy :)

  • http://goodwintrina@hotmail.com Trina

The fish coupons didnt work for me either im not trying again oh well.

  • Valora Palmer

Fish coupon worked fine for me a self checkout. $5.99 came off automatically.

  • yolene

Keep trying i used 8 of the fish coupon in one order with no issues my cashier just entered it when it beeped its all about the cashier

  • Ryan

Just to let you know. My S&S was was having a sale on Fiber One cereal at $2.99 a box. I had 3 coupons (.75/1 box and doubles). So, $9 in cereal, minus the $3 instant savings brought into $6. Then subtract $4.50 in coupons ($1.50+$1.50+$1.50) = $1.50. So $1.50 for 3 boxes of Fiber One and then you get the free milk making it basically free plus overage. Worked great..

    • Michelle T.

Thanks for posting, Ryan! I was thinking it wouldn’t be worth it to try for the free milk Cat, but now I’ll check for this sale!

    • Laura D.

Thanks Ryan! Awesome find, I will make sure to get there now! Plus I have a couple of fish coupons ~ fingers crossed for that one.

  • Trina G.

    ok imma go try again

  • Cara Roworth
