My Shopping Trip: Rite Aid
On Saturday, we had a graduation party on for Nikki’s college graduation. Well, my 2 aunts, my mom (aka Grandma Marie) and my cousin all went shopping in my stockpile. And guess who invited them into my stockpile…yep, my mom.
While chatting, my mom just happened to mention that she “shops” in my stockpile and suggested that they all come down in the basement to check it out. Before I knew it, they all had bags open and they were happily loading stuff into them. They looked like a bunch of kids at a candy store. 🙂
Some of the items they grabbed where toothpaste and rinse. So, this was a perfect opportunity to replenish my stock after the stockpile “raid”.
Here is what I did:

- added $150 to envelope on 7/20
- $28.69 spent at Best Market for produce and meat
- $6.52 at a local Farm Stand
- $1.47 shopping trip on 7/22
- total in envelope as of 7/23: $235.01
- $43.42 from various trips during the week
- $7.68 shopping trip on 7/31
- total in envelope as of 7/31: $183.91
- $10.40 shopping trip on 8/2
- total in envelope as of 8/2: $173.51
