ShopRite: Hot Keebler Cookies Money Maker

We have an even better deal going on this week at ShopRite for the Buy $25 in Kellogg’s, Keebler, Sunshine or Famous Amos Products and get a $5 Catalina for School Supplies.  Reader Amanda found that the regular Keebler Cookies, not just the Keebler Mini Chips Deluxe, are also ringing up at $0.99.  Some of them, like the image above, have a Pre-Price Plus price of $3.69.  And, since the deal is working on Pre-Price Plus, this makes for an extra special deal.

Here is what reader Amanda did:

  • Nice! I wonder what other varieties are ringing .99? Fudge stripe? Yum!

    • Yes for the Fudge Stripe! :)

    • I went to my local shoprite today and I bought 16 boxes of cookies on my first order (fudge stripes, oatmeal, coconut, soft baked chocolate chip) all for .99!!! then I made another seperate purchase with 16 more boxes for .99!! This was at the shoprite in Mt.Laurel NJ on Nixon drive. I asked the associate why they were so cheap and she said there was a computer glitch :) she also told me she bought tons of cookies for her kids too!

  • My shoprite @ home is showing only the 10oz bags as being .99. The ones as shown above are $3.69. I wonder how it is in store?

  • Thanks Amanda & Cindy! Great deal! I hope this is happening at my SR later today!

  • Awesome Im gonna check out my shoprite hope they have a good variety

  • This did not work for me I bought 4 mini stripes and 4 chocolate chip minis and did not get the catalina…

    • The Mini’s Pre Price Plus are not $3.69. They are $2.09. You have to purchase the cookies that have a pre-price plus price of $3.69 if you are only buying 8.

  • This makes for a HUGE timesaver! I was going to go to the next town over for the Fiber Plus bars because my main store doesn’t have them, but this is so much easier!

  • I just checked the Shoprite From Home prices for my store (Bayonne) and there are 23 Keebler items listed as on sale at 99¢. Woohoo! Great deal. Thanks, Cindy!

  • did not work for me on shelf prices at shop rite in Toms River (rt 37 and rt 9) not only that the woman at customer service gave me a hard time saying that coupons have to be SUBTRACTED from your total so I was nowhere near 25.00 I said since when?? call a manager please He came over and said Give it to her, theres nothing in the ad about subtracting coupons. Well, she said after he left, they change the rules here everyday! NO, YOU SHOULD JUST LEARN THE RULES! But it definitely doesnt work on shelf prices here but a great deal anyway full size chips deluxe for .45 after coupons and I went back and got more to get to 25.oo and get the 5.00 coupon -

    • Had the same problem to awhile ago at that shop rite to.

    • I did this at Fischer blvd store today – all the chips deluxe and fudge shop were not marked .99 but rang up at .99. A guy was stocking the shelf and said Keebler couldn’t provide enough inventory of the sale one so they included all the others. I bought 8 assorted kinds and got the $5 cat :) yeah!

  • I just did this deal in CT and it worked perfectly! There were at least 8 varieties that were scanning at .99 whose original price was $3.69.
My daughter is in cookie heaven … thanks!

  • Worked in southington CT as well :) thanks for the post

  • Does anyone know if Brick,NJ is working for shelf (pre-price plus) or the Price plus Price Planning on going in the morning and if it doesn’t print the one girl at Customer Service is not very nice. would Rather avoid her.

  • Worked in Glen Burnie MD. Thanks for the heads up.

  • how do you guys check the shop at home prices and know that that is the price that’s in the store?

    • Go to ShopRite website and then to ShopRite from home from your store. This is the place you would go to make an order for home delivery, you can search items and prices for that week. HTH

  • Thanks Amanda & Cindy because I have to go back to Shoprite tomorrow because they were out of Suave but their truck comes in tonight. Thanx again!!!!!

  • Awesome deal, worked perfectly!

  • my keebler coupon is $.55/2 crackers. is this same same coupon you are talking about but is works for the cookies? or maybe mine is regional and just for the crackers?

  • SR in Berlin had empty shelves. There was a notice stating that due to manufacter issues they did not have the bags of cookies. Someone told me that all of the other packages of Keebler were priced at 99 cents with signs and now all of the tags were ripped down and there were no cookies to be found. I went to another SR and got the bags but I didnt check the other cookies. I may have to go back tomorrow.
PS I did get 2 rainchecks!!!!

  • worked in mansfield,NJ tonight. just watch register because I had picked up 2 of the sandies (which I thought I had checked the shelf-price of $3.69), but they showed a shelf-price of $3.29. the cashier let me run back for 2 different ones.

  • I wonder what is the limit for this cat per cardholder?

  • I bought 8 of the Keebler Deluxe Cookies(the big boxes) and they all rang up.99 cents and received the $5.00 catalina. Rolled the deal 3 times for a total of 24 boxes.

  • I bought 8 boxes and they were 99 each and then I bought 8 more but the 5.00 catalina did not print the second time but after arguing at customer service for a few minutes they did print it for me. Is it suspose to print more than once per card?

  • Here in the Pocono’s, once again, our Red Plum did not have any such coupon (

  • Even without any coupons, it’s still a great deal………..

  • Man, this is an AMAZING deal, but I don’t have a shoprite near me. :(

  • Does anyone know if the 55 cents off keebler crackers coupons work for these cookies?

  • Does anyone know if the Cinnamon Roll cookie variety is ringing up for 99 cents? I have coupons fro 55 cents of them.

  • I didn’t have the keebler coupons, but did the deal anyway!! Still a great deal. Now to keep myself away from all those cookies! LOL!!!!

  • I am new to couponing. I want to take advantage of this but I don’t even know what RP means. Where do I find the coupon?

  • Some of the Keebler cookies were marked down to .99 on the Shop at Home. I went to the Glassboro SR and the tags were the regular tags but took two for price check and they were .99!! Got 4 chocolate/fudge stripe and 4 soft & chewy choc chip. Received the $5.00 CAT. That was my first order. HOWEVER, they would not accept the $5.00 catalina off my second regular order because I could not identify any school supplies. (They would not consider food packed for lunches as school supplies LOL)

    • Try again next time with a different cashier!!! Worst case, just use the CAT at another Shoprite. I had a cashier in Marmora refuse to let me use it, so I just used it in Vineland without any problems.

    • That silly. I don’t have kids. What exactly am I supposed to do with that $5 Cat if it has to be used on things like binders and pencils and rulers?
They advertise pretty much everything in the store as “Back to School”, so why shouldn’t basic things like food for packed lunches be considered a “school supply’…
I assume the cashier didn’t even scan it, because if she had it would have gone through just fine (I’ve used one already myself on regular groceries).

  • Just make sure to check the reg. price on the tag. The Chips Deluxe have a “sale” price of $2.99 but reg. price is $3.69 and price checke at 0.99! Highly recommend the Dark Chocolate Fudge Stripes!

Karen – I think people last year worked around the wording by buying the cheapes school supply they could find (e.g. Notebook) and they were able to use the cat.

  • Worked in Clark, NJ! Bought 4 Fudge Stripe, and 4 Regular Chocolate Chip! FYI it is only on the full size IF they have sold out of the minis…..they are substituting until they run out and then giving rain checks if necessary. You also need to buy at least 3 Fudge Stripe bc they are $3.69 and the Chocolate Chip are $2.99….hth!

  • ShopRite of Mt. Laurel (Nixon Drive) had cookies in stock, but some spaces were empty. Looked like their stock was dwindling. However, it worked there for me. Bought 7 packages (4 original fudge sticks; 2 deluxe grahams; 1 coconut dreams) for $6.93. Received $5.00 coupon.

  • Just got my deal. The cashier wanted to know what I was going to do with all these cookies. I told her eat them, freeze some and share some with family. When she saw that I got the catalina at the end, she said she was going to go home for her coupons. Just be careful and pricecheck the cookies. Not all the ones for $3.69 are on sale. But I did get a really good variety.
Wow do I feel like I “almost” won the powerball jackpot.

  • My store is out of both packs and there is a sign up saying there are out of stock due to manufacture. Funny I was there earlier im the day and the shelf was full. That drives me crazy. I went back this morning and same thing.

  • was told this was only on mini and the larger packages were mismarked in the registers and even in on shelves in some stores. as of today, my sr wasnt allowing the larger packages to go thru since the flyer stated 8 oz only. i still got the 99 mini bags with my coupons, so wasnt a total loss.

    • My local ShopRite was substituting the packages for the minis that were advertised. They had posted a sign detailing the substitution and had shelf tags indicating which were the $0.99. I was just sad that they were out of the grasshoppers!

  • In my shoprite( Croton, NY), they just changed the prices of Kebbler cookies today, and I was right there standing by when they changed it! I was so ecstatic!!! I did not have the coupons but even though, still an awesome deal. I spent $9.90 (for 10 packs) and got $5 cat.I bought 8 of $2.99 and 2of the $2.09, with total of $28.10. I just couldn’t resist for one more pack bec. my kids really like these. The Sandies are not included for info.

  • Just did this deal along with the ziploc bag deal twice – I’ll be bagging these cookies up for snacks for a good long while for my kids’ lunches. Much cheaper than buying the single serve bags. Thanks Cindy!!!

  • I was bummed the sale didn’t include the Cinnamon Roll variety – that would have made them FREE with the 7/29 coupon + the catalina!

  • bummer ….we didn’t get those coupons either here in CT!! still a good deal though! I just need to decide if I want to make the trip for just 7 boxes of cookies!

  • Just came back from Shoprite Ansonia, CT bought 8 pkgs paid $7.92 and got the $5.00 catalina bought, coconut dreams, fudge stripe, chocolate graham, fudge sticks and grasshopper. Pre scanned all of them they where $3.69 on sale for .99 cents. Thanks for the post great deal !!!

  • didn’t work in my Norwich, CT store…except for the bags, all the rest scanned in at over $3.00 each…bummer…still a good deal. Just bought 12 packs 3 different varieties and got the $5 cat

  • i didnt get the keebler cpn in my circular, bummed!!! was the GM circular regional? didnt get that either

  • I wish this price would stick through next week. I’d love to get these in conjunction with the $1.88 Kellogg’s cereal next week, to get the $5 Cat. :(

  • It was a no-go at Wharton. They all rang up reg price. Im gonna try one more today

  • Is the $5 catalina supposed to be used only for school supplies?? If yes, what all are considered school supplies??.. thanks in advance..

  • I just got back from my Shoprite trip and I found a lot of the Keebler Varieties are ringing up .39! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I scanned them at the price checker (which was only a walk down the aisle). So I bought 8 packs, used my coupons and got my Cat! Thank you so much!

  • Be sure to scan ALL the Keebler cookie varieties at ShopRite. I found the Original Fudge Stripe and EL Fudge Double Stuffed rang up at $0.39 each!!!

  • Went to the SR in YOnkers today and brought a bunch of different varieties to the only working price checker in the store! A young man helped me to the machine and when he saw they were .99 his eyes literally bugged out of his head. I said “don’t tell anyone till I leave the store”…LOL> He told me he would be stocking up on cookies too!! Question about the $5 School supply cat- could I buy just one thing, like a folder and the cat will go through-or $5 of actual supplies??? Fruit snackies are a school supply here, but doubt CAT can be used for them!

  • Just got back from Shoprite – White Plains, NY and the following are still $0.39.
EL Fudge original (not double stuffed), Mint Creme Middles – Chocolate Graham, Grasshopper, and boxed Jumbo Fudge Sticks (both regular and peanut butter). Thanks to all for alerting us to this great deal.

  • All of the fudge shop cookies at my store rang up late this evening for .39 too! Wowsers! Wish they were open longer I would have hit up a few more SR in the area!

    • I just looked at these on Shoprite @ Home out of curiosity and saw the $0.39 price! Came here to see if anyone was actually able to purchase them for that amount. Love that this actually seems to be working. I guess I’ll be going to Shoprite this afternoon!

  • Is this still working?

  • Are these prices working today, Sunday too? Even without the Cat, this is awesome. May hit SR later today for more

  • Purchased them for 39 cents but no catalina print out. However, the self-check out still has them at 99cents really weird :) but a great price either way.
