Just wanted to give you guys a heads up on the Kellogg’s Cereal Catalina deal this week. Although the circular shows a pre-price plus of $3.63, the Apple Jacks have a pre-price plus of just $3.39. So, the original deal posted in the ShopRite Match Ups will not work as it will not meet the requirements of the Buy $25 Get a $5 Catalina.

Thats why my Catalina didn’t print, well I will take my receipt back & ask if I purchase another box of the Frosted flakes will they give me a Catalina, hope so!!!
Yeah the PPP threw me for a loop too. Fiber Plus Cereal PPP is coming in lower than shelf price
that with the Apple Jacks threw me off.

I went this morning and got:
4 boxes of Fiber Plus Bars – 2.99 (PPP – 3.49) x 4 = 13.96
1 Box of Fiber Plus Cereal – 2.99 (PPP – 3.89) x 1 = 3.89
1 Box of Chocolate Frosted Flakes – 1.88 (PPP – 3.63) = 3.63
1 Box of Apple Jacks = 1.88 (PPP 3.39) = 3.39
Total of 23.77 = No Cat
Total Cost = After Coupons = 8.55
A week ago I got notice via Cat of Buy 1 Box Fiber Plus Cereal get 2 dollar Cat. That also did not work
So I am out 7.00 in Cats on this deal.

My cost was just 6.55 for the above deal..but still. No cat = bad deal over all.
Not necessarily, you can bring your receipt back to CS (also bring the notification cat if you still have it). Tell them you made a mistake with your calculations($23.77) and you would like to purchase another box, will they please print out the cat for you. Bring a coupon for the box. This worked for me this am. Also, show them the catalina notice for the Fiber Plus Cereal, they may honor that as well. hth.
CS helped me too. They were really good about it.
worked great for me today on pre price plus price – I got (4) chocolate frosted flakes, (2) Apple jacks and (2) cocoa Krispies (they are included at 1.88). My cat printed just fine. And the toms river store is printing some .75 off apple jacks store coupons!!
Does anyone know if it’s rolling? With 4 kids, 8 boxes of cereal doesn’t last very long.

Wow! My wife actually still had the Cat notice filled away!
It specifically says buy any 11.5 oz or Larger Any Flavor Fiber Plus Cereals and get 2.00 reward.
I will also go and buy another Cereal and see if that will work.
Sort of wish I pushed and asked for the Cat last week too. I somehow got lower than expected on the $5 dollar and just ate it.
Alan, did you double check the dates for the Fiber Plus? I’ve learned the hard way to keep those notices in with my coupons. CS will honor it if it’s not stated in the Ad and if you have the Catalina showing the deal, they will print out a cat without any problems.
I only learned this because the same thing had happened to me, but, I had thrown it away. The next time it happened I had the notification with me for proof and was happy when they straightened it out.

make sure you are using the card that generated the offer. I got it and noticed it was for a specific PP card #.
Well…I have good news.
CS at Shoprite was totally clueless. I explained what happened and told her I would like to buy another cereal to bring my total over $25.00…she looked at my dollar total on the reciept and said I there is no way 1 box of cereal will make me have $25.00 because I only paid 12.00 on my receipt total.
I started to explain it to her…so she just gave up and called a manager over.
The manager was awesome. Took like 30 seconds to explain what happened and he said sure…and told her to print the Cats.
So got both the 5 and the 2 dollar cat.
It is REALLY hit or miss with both CS and the duty managers. Tony I think his name was…was very gracious and nice.
I am sure it didn’t hurt I had my family along with me this time…one of the few times I let them even step in a grocery store for fear of the $200.00 impluse purchases
Just one example…my wife saw the tomatoes on the vine on sale for 1.49 a pound. Over all that is a decent sale. She started putting them in the bag and handed it to me when she was done. I went to the scale and it tipped out at 4 pounds. I told her that is over 6.00 in tomatoes and she would just have to wait till I could run to Aldi tomorrow and buy a pack of 3 large tomatoes for 1.25. She wasn’t thrilled but did allow me to return them.

I just got back from SR and bought 2 boxes of Apple Jacks and 6 boxes of Fruit Loops but no cat printed. The shelf prices were $3.39 for each box so that would be PPP of $27.12.
Grrr! I wish I had seen this before I went to the store Sunday morning! When I didn’t get the $5 catalina I was disappointed
Oh man, I went early Sunday morning and my cat didn’t print, so I calculated at home and was about a few cents off, darn it, not enough though to drive back to the store!
the catalina says $5 off school supplies has anyone used the catalina on food?
Just bought 4x chocolate frosted flakes and 4x apple jacks. Cat printed, tbh, I didn’t look at it. Just brought cereal to my car & used the cat (along with another from Glade last week) for the rest of my groceries. I didn’t get any school supplies…. and it worked fine.

Has anyone else tried to buy groceries with the school supplies cat and had it worked? I’ve heard people are also buying printer paper with the cat. That’s good idea, but would like to get groceries more…
