Thanks Cindy! I had such a horrible experience at my SR the other day that I’m actually feeling anxiety about going back. These deals are too good to miss out on though. Anyone have anxiety after a not so pleasant experience at the store? =(
I currently have severe nausea from my fully stocked upright freezer dying on me today I worked SO hard to stock it for under $40 (mostly chicken, veggies, frozen pizzas, butters & italian ice). At least I haven’t bought the filet mignon I’ve been patiently waiting to go on sale, that would have been just awful! I always try to find the better part of a bad situation. So try to pick out something good about your experience, shake it off and carry on! We’ve all been there!!
BTW – the snowman I built in my driveway from the excessive amounts of snow inside my freezer sends his warm winter wishes Lil’ sucker lasted 3 1/2 hours in todays NJ heat, lol!!
Yes Nicole I have. One of the managers at my SR is so mean to me when I go with all my coupons. I print a lot of coupons offline and everytime I go she pulls out the fraudulent coupon book and checks every coupon I have. While checking my coupons she says, “these things are already on sale, are you that hard up for cash?” I just keep my mouth shut because I know that at the end of my transaction I’ll be paying next to nothing for all my groceries. Sometimes I feel like she just does it because its me but you know what? You can’t let people get in the way of you and your savings. I still go back and everytime she approaches me I just kill her with kindness.
What nerve! That manager is unprofessional and shouldn’t have the job. You should ask if her coupon ‘combing’ is because she’s so hard up for a profit. I’d have to stay far away from that place.
OMG that is just terrible. I can’t stand when you are looked upon as trying to “steal” if you use coupons. Some cashiers get annoyed because the checkout takes longer but OH WELL! Work somewhere else if you don’t like coupons. I would honestly write a letter to the owner of the store or call the owner. Most Shoprites are independently owned and I’m sure they value your business (because they ARE being paid by the coupons too!) and they would not want to lose your business to one of the many other supermarkets that accept coupons in a kind manner. I’m sure you’re not the only person to use coupons there, but she is just annoyed by it. If she doesn’t lose her job, at least she’ll know enough to keep her mouth shut.
Heads up on the Scotch Brite multi-pack sponges: If you go to the scotch brand website (under promotions) they have a printable version of the $0.75/2 sponge multi-pack coupon!
Thank you for all your hard work. This website does miracles for keeping our strict grocery budget on target. My husband recently lost a job and fortunately found another not too long after. However his pay was cut in half. …how to pay the mortgage and feed a family of 4? with a full time job and 2 part time jobs and living rich with coupons! i never thought 40 a week would feed and clean all of us! we dont live on steak but we always have meat and fresh fruits and veggies and plenty of snax and soap!
Is anyone else having problems with the smartsource printing the Lance crackers? I tried to print them at home and then at the library and it didn’t work. It gave me some error message.

Just want to say a big THANK YOU for all you do…last night I made my weekly trip to shoprite – my grocery bill rang up to $122 and after coupons came down to $21…I KNOW I couldn’t have done it by myself…your matchups make it so much easier for me and my family I was bragging about this site to the lady behind me who was in awe!! Even my husband was amazed..

Hellman’s Mayo is $3.88.. there is .70/1 insert coupon (I cut it out and do not have date.. sorry, but it was recent!) and there is a .25 SR ecoupon for the same item!
Where are the coupons that wehere mentioned for Honey Nut Cheerios .60; $0.60/1 Nature Valley Protein bars; $0.60/2 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks… Thank you so much for your hard work by the way, really enjoy your site and all the savings.
All the .60 cent coupons come from various websites run by General Mills:
The sites are cross linked so often if you print two at one site you can not get two more at another but the coupons are normally slightly more than you can get at other sites.. 60 cents instead of 50 or 85 instead of 75.

that happened to me too a few weeks…when it was 102 degrees – fridge and freezer went down. Three days for repair, lost just about everything…sigh

Get even, report her/him to corporate about the “hard up comment” – ask for an apology (face to face and loud)
