  • wow!! is going to be a great week!!!
    thanks for the match ups!!

  • Thanks.

  • I can’t wait to use my $4 off 12 cosmetics with my $10 off $50 purchase!
If my deal goes as planned I will end up with 2 Covergil mascaras, 2 Covergirl lipsticks, 1 Physicians Formula item (not sure what yet something priced $11.99), 2 Nexxus shampoos for around $31.55 oop after coupons and get back $27 in ecbs. I think I will flip them into a Sensationail starter kit along with another $10 off $50 coupon and pay under $20 dollars for it. Fingers crossed.

    • I have the $10 off $50 as well….I read the print at the bottom of the coupon and it said that you cannot use it along with another purchase-based coupon, ie $4 off $20, so I am wondering if the cosmetics coupon counts toward that?

    • You can’t use both the $4 off $12 AND the $10 off $50 in the same transaction. It’s stated at the bottom of the Q. You can use a % off Q with the $X off $X Q though in the same transaction. HTH

      • I am going to try it. I thought that as long as you spent the required amount, you could use both. I am planning on spending a total of around $62.00, so $4 off of $12 and $10 off $50. The coupons printed on the same strip of paper from the red machine, and I left them together purposely to argue my case if I have to. Why would they print together if they can’t be used together? I’ll let you know how it goes.

        • I went and I was allowed to use both coupons. The cashier told me that as long as my purchase was at least $62 I could use both. Now whether or not you can use two like coupons (two $10 off $50) I am not sure. I think it depends on the cashier or what the managers tell them what they can accept.

    • where did you get the $10 off $50 coupon?

  • If I have a 25% off coupon from CVS (for full price items), will it work with the Nexxus? And will CVS still report the full amount?

    • It may not work for the Nexxus since it’s generating an ECBs. That’s considered a sale item. You can always ask the cashier though.

      • Actually, even if it generates ECBs, you can use the percentage off coupon. It is when the item itself is on sale (regardless of ECB production) that the percentage off does not apply. HTH!

        • Thanks — that is exactly how it worked, and I got the $10 ECB! And I trust that the full amount will be reported to Savingstar so I get the $5 back. I found a bonus pack of $17.99 conditioner (ouch) with a free full size shampoo, so I got that and a small bottle of color treated conditioner to get up to $20. The $3 coupon worked on both even though it was only supposed to be on 5 ounces or larger (in contrast to Rite Aid last week where it beeped for everything, although I guess it was a different coupon). However, when I got home, I discovered that the small bottle that was supposed to be $3.49 actually rang up at $4.99, and a big shampoo bottle that I bought on another card which was supposed to be $10.49 rang up at $11.99! I will have to go back and complain!

In any event, since I had a $10 ECB to get rid of from a survey I had done, and it was tax free, it was a great deal, although it did cause the 25% off to be adjusted down.

    • When I did this deal the week before last I used a 25% off coupon and it worked. What do you mean by “report the full amount”? Do you mean to your 2% (or 4%) quarterly rewards?

    • I have used the 25% off on items that produce an ECB..as long as the item is not on sale. The Nexxus in the circular is not reporting it is on sale, so it should apply.

    • Bill, 25% off worked on the Nexxus today. However, last week’s Nexxus totals did not carry over like the Dove totals have been carrying over for weeks. So I had to buy the full $20 worth, still a great deal :)

  • BTW I’m assuming the Nexxus will count towards the Beauty Club program.

  • Is the The Nexxus printable coupon still available? The Nexxus coupon from People expires today the 29th.

  • The milk ECB deal is a no go in NJ, right?

  • razors count on BC?

    • No, razors don’t count towards BC. Sorry. Hand soap and women’s body wash do if you want to do the soft soap deal.

      • Hi it’s late and can’t sleep! I searched savingstar q’s 3x and still don’t finf $5.00 Nexus. Does it print auto? Or can someone please tell me how it works? Thanks! Cindy you’re awesome for all the hard work you and your team do!

        • The Nexus is part of the Unilever Savingstar deal, the coupon you must load to your shopping cards is the Buy $10 get $5 of Unilever products. It is one of the large coupons in the banner at the top of the page which switches between Unilever, Lipton, and Kraft.

You need to sign up for Savingstar, enter ALL of your store card numbers into your account then click which coupons you would like to have “Activated”. They are similar to eCoupons, except the total doesn’t come off on your receipt, it accumulates in your account and when you have
$5 you can select a “pay option”. Good Luck, HTH!!

        • the unilever q is only on savingstar.com from your computer, not the app. it’s at the top with other ‘one or many’ type… hth

  • Hey, I purchased two bottles of gummie vitamins for the $10ECB’ but when I use two coupons it brought the amount under $20 and my extra bucks did not print out what happened?

  • I found a 50 cents coupon off of the Dairy Pure Garelick Farms in one of these past few weeks inserts.

  • If you have the buy one Pantene shampoo get one free conditioner coupon from last month you can score big time at CVS this week. They are on sale 2/$8.00 and if spend $30.00 on qualifying products you get a $10.00 ECB. The coupon took off $6.99 instead of $4.00 which is awesome! I had two coupons so I bought 4 Pantene, 3 Cover Girl eye shadows at $4.19 each and one $6.99 lipstick. The make-up is buy one get one 50% off and I used 2 $3.00 off of 2 Cover Girl products. I also did the Robitussin, One a Day and the Softsoap body wash deals. The magic coupon machine gave me a $10.00 off of $50.00 and a One a Day coupon last week. After I combined all of my coupons with my $8.59 ecbs from last week I paid $9.72 and got back $19.00 in ECBS. Score!!! It felt so good because it has been sooooo long since CVS has had an amazing week like this.

  • The schick quattro razor deal is wrong I believe, I went to CVS today and they had a Schick quattro razor and a schick quattro razor/trimmer both were listed regular price but had tags that show what the price would be after ECB. I paid $11.49 for the regular razor, used a $4 coupon and got a $4 ECB which made it $3.49 the other razor was $13.99 and after ECB it would be $9.99 and with $4 off coupon it would be 5.99. =(
Also, I did not get a 25% off email this week, hmm, weird, it would have been perfect for a coupon of full price items I bought including the razor!!

  • wow i am going to have fun in cvs !

  • BTW, the Nexxus deal limit is definitely > 1 (the ad says it’s 1). It did not claim I’d reached my limit on the receipt. Sadly, I am out of coupons.

    • I had that happen to me before on an ecb deal, not sure which one. It may have been Nexxus a while ago. Spend $20, get $10 ecb. I spent $19.98 and got the $10 ecb, but on my receipt it didn’t say offer limit reached. It said that I was $0.02 from the offer. I tried to buy another item to “reach” the limit, but it didn’t print an ecb. I may have used the ecb from the first purchase though and that cancelled it out.I wish I could remember, it would be nice to have another ecb print. Then again, it is very nice for Cvs to trigger the ecb when you are just pennies away from an offer:)

  • I tried to use the two Cover Girl Coupons yesterday along with the buy one get one half off deal. The one coupon was $3 off any 2 CoverGirl products, so I chose two $4.99 blushes, and the other coupon was $5 off any 2 CoverGirl Lip products, so I chose a lipstick for $7.79 and a gloss for $7.39. It rang up correctly, one at full price and one a half price, so 4.99 + 2.49 and 7.79 +3.69 (18.96 went towards my total), however, when it came to using the coupons, it took off the $3, but then would not allow the $5. It said something like too many coupons? or coupon greater than item value? I don’t know exactly, but the woman was really getting annoyed with me and giving me an attitude. I honestly don’t see what the problem was, everything I had was correct. Does anyone know why I would get an error from that? I did ask for the manager, who overrode the coupon manually, but I hate being in that situation. What did I do wrong?

    • You didn’t do anything wrong, Nicole. I have noticed the $/2 coupons are funky at CVS, I’ve had the same error in the past but with a better cashier. What was wrong was your cashier’s attitude, sorry you had such a bad experience. I’m glad the manager was able to fix it for you, hopefully he/she noticed the poor attitude of the cashier and will fix that too! :)

  • the pantene coupons for BOGO are ringing up for $6.99, so makes the deal even better!!

  • I never find the prices of the product mentioned here same for the products at my CVS. Its always greater than one mentioned here by everyone. why is it so? For Nexxus Pro mend shampoo its $14.99 and others $12.99 and few even higher than that. Also prices of every other items mentioned here has never tallied with the prices I see here in my CVS at Hackensack,NJ. Doing deals with higher prices for items doesn’t save me any money like others do.

    • The prices are all regional. I have several CVS stores in my area. They are all priced higher than Cindy’s prices. And even in my area some CVS stores are priced higher than others. For items that are not on sale (where there is an actual posted price in the flyer) then the prices will vary based on region. I always know that my CVS prices will be higher than the ones Cindy lists…and that store A in my area will be even higher than store B in my area. It’s just how it is. I shop accordingly and plan my strategy around that knowledge. This is also where those CVS percentage off coupons really come in handy. HTH.

  • The tresemme is 2/7 this week, and the coupon machine printed a 2/2 tresemme, my question is, if I use the buy one shampoo and one conditioner get one styler free coupon, can I use an additional 1/1 coupon with it? That would make it, $4 for the 3 products? My cvs add said the coupon in the paper was buy one shampoo or conditioner get a one styler, but I didn’t get that one, did anyone else?

    • I purchased a Tresemme shampoo, conditioner and styling product and used the $2.00 off of 2 from the machine and the coupon you have from the paper. The coupon takes off whatever the greatest amount is stated on it. I think it is $6.00. So you will pay $2.50 for all three products.

  • Thanks to all who posted above that the B1G1 is deducting $6.99 on the Pantene. I bought 4 shampoo, 4 conditioner used 4 B1G1 and 2 – $1/2, paid $2.04 and got $10 ECB. No beeps smooth sailing! Plus, dropped it all off at the food pantry on my way home! I Love MM deals!!!

  • What is SAVING STAR DEPOSIT? How does work?

  • Nexxus question: I purchased the 2 bottles of the Pro-Mend & received my $10.00 ECB, but my receipt shows $20.28 towards this reward & then shows $19.72 amount needed to earn reward?? Does this mean that I can do another purchase on Nexxus & receive another $10.00 ECB? Thank you all for your help.

    • Yes, you can do it again. I have something like that on my receipt, but it claims $20 needed for next reward, which is strange since I spent over $22. I found another of the combo packs tonight but did not have my coupons, so I bought it without my CVS card and will go back Saturday to return/rebuy. I also got $3/15 coupons today via email so I will use that. Not quite as good as the 25% off, but that would get recalculated once I applied the $10 so it will end up about the same.

    • I had the same exact thing happen with the P&G deal at the bottom of my receipt! I’ve never tested this myself, but it is how we learn that you can get more than one deal on a card because the receipt says you haven’t reached the limit. I don’t know the answer for sure, but would like to!
