Ty, ty, ty Cindy! I love Lipton tea and these bottles are so convenient to cart around. SavingStar offers some of the best discounts, imho!
I just started with savingstar this month and am very happy with it so far. I am just a dime away from $5 and have only bought things that I normally would be buying anyway with one exception – the cookie mix. This deal will be great for me because my husband loves the iced teas anway. He is on the road a lot for work and they make a great alternative to stopping and buying an iced tea on the road.
Thanks! I activated this last night and found it at my store this morning. The Pure Leaf is $10 for $10 at my Stop & Shop in MA. The tag said the price is good ’til 11/1/12. They had the other Lipton there for the same price, but, I didn’t look at that tag. I’ll check it out when I go back for my last five bottles of the Pure Leaf tea.
Any coupons out there?
Can anyone please explain how Saving Star works?
Thanks for your help.
So Pathmark has these for 99c starting Friday and A&P has them for $1, both after card discount (I’m sure this is true for S&S as well). Can someone say definitively whether Savingstar counts the pre- or post-card price in the spending requirement? This is a good deal if they count the $1 price, but it’s a GREAT deal if they count the pre-card price. Obviously, it’s easy enough to try, just buy a few and see what gets credited. At Shoprite I’m pretty sure it will ring up at $1 without any card discount.
I have always had it count pre-sale price at Waldbaums, Pathmark, and Stop & Shop — Savingstar posts pretty quickly, so I would start out purchasing a few and see what comes up in your account.
Thanks. My son went to PM today and bought $10 pre-card price. I went to A&P and also did it on my account. Amusingly, the Lipton Naturals was $1.69 at A&P but only $1.59 at PM, so he had to buy 7 while I only had to buy 6. Pure Lead was $1.49 at both stores.
Oops, make that Pure Leaf
. Anyway, I figure I can always buy more if they do not generate the $5.
FYI, my son got his $5 for each of the deals based on shelf prices at Pathmark. My A&P purchases should clear tomorrow.
oh nice! Thanks so much for sharing that!
No ideas on whether the $10 has to be shelf price or post-card price?
I bought both the Pure Leaf and Lipton based on shelf price at my Pathmark and this morning the $10 was in my Saving star account! Yay!!!
They added a new offer for Lipton Brisk. I’m not a big fan of that but maybe there will be a good deal on it.
