Some of you on the LRWC Facebook page may remember my request for birthday wishes for my dear Grandma Anna to lift her spirits. On, September 12th she turned 97 and was not feeling well. Thousands and thousands of you sent her birthday wishes with such kind words. She enjoyed hearing some of the comments as I read them to her. It’s with a heavy heart that I am letting you know that Grandma Anna passed away early this morning peacefully in her sleep.
As heart breaking as it is, grandma lived a very long and happy life and we feel very blessed that we were able to share so much time with her. At the end, she struggled quite a bit with her breathing and we are at peace knowing that she is now comfortable and is reunited with my grandfather.
I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their kind words and wonderful birthday wishes. I truly appreciate it and it brought her such joy as I read them to her.
