My Shopping Trip: ShopRite and Stop & Shop

Extreme Couponing Shopping Trip

My favorite shopping trips are the ones that the cashiers get excited over.  Today, at ShopRite, my cashier was commenting about each coupon she scanned.  Things like, “wow this is a good coupon”, “another great coupon”, “boy, you really have a lot of great coupons”.  She was amazed and happy to see the final total which was just $2.71.  Of course, previous catalinas helped lower that total however I did walk away with another $2 catalina and a lot of great groceries.

Oh and, if you bought the Mallomars this week, stick them in the microwave for 5 seconds for instant smores!  Yum! ;)

  • I searched all over for the imported pasta sauce… but could not find it, was it somewhere special?

  • ‘love those nabisco mallomars, i did’nt think i could use that MQ for that. Thanks for sharing

  • Awesome trip! The sauces were on the top shelf at the Wallingford ShopRite. Have any of you tried them yet specifically the portabella mushroom one? There is also or was a savingstar on one as well.

  • At the ShopRite near my home the Mallomars boxes had ShopRite coupons attached $1 off 2 boxes.

  • Cindy, I was just looking over your grocery budget and noticed that your numbers are off. You added some shopping trips instead of deducting them. Don’t want you to be off anywhere.

Thank you for all the hard work you do. We apprecaite it all!

    • Oh my gosh that is too funny because I just said to my husband that there is money missing. He said why, I said because, according the my tracking on my site, I should have more money in the envelope. I thought I was going crazy. Now I know that it’s just that I can’t do basic math. ;)
