I just wanted to update you guys on this Kraft/Nabisco/Hershey’s Catalina Deal this week at ShopRite. Typically this type of Catalina deal will only include the “participating products” listed in the circular. Well it looks like the Jell-O Mix-Ins are also part of this Catalina Deal. There was a hang tag advertising the Catalina at my store. I also tested this Catalina Deal with purchasing Jell-O Mix-ins and my Catalinas printed no problem.
Here are the details to the this offer:
Spend $20 on participating Kraft, Nabisco or Hershey’s Products and get $10 in Catalinas as follows:
- $5 Catalina good 9/30 – 10/6
- $5 Catalina good 10/7 – 10/13
Here are the current Jell-O Coupons available:
- $0.80/2 Jell-O Refrigerated Snacks, exp. 10/16/12 (SS 09/16/12 R)
- $1/1 Jell-O Refrigerated Snacks, exp. 10/16/12 (SS 09/16/12)
- $1.25 Jello-O Mix-Ins printable (check your accounts)
Here is one new deal idea:
Be on the lookout for $1/1 Nabisco Cookie or Cracker peelie coupons on Nabisco products at your store! Several products at my local ShopRite had these peelies on them. I also spotted a coupon for $1.50 off fresh fruit when you buy Nabisco Fig Newtowns peelies at my store!

The Catalinas seem to be printing on Pre-Price Plus Prices, however the deal idea in this post reaches above $20 in sale price. Only certain items have a “pre-price” plus price. The Nabisco crackers for example are $2.50 in the circular. There is no small box next to the item that says how much you save, so therefore there is no “pre-price” plus price. $2.50 is the price used in calculating Deal Ideas for the crackers. See the Oreos, however, for example, have that small box that says you save $0.80. The “pre-price” plus price for the Oreos is $4.29. Hope that helps!
It’s working off shelf prices (bought 5 Maxwell House). Have another question though, can anyone confirm that this is limited to once per SR card? I believe I saw that in the terms of the offer, just wondering if anyone tried multiple times and if they received the CATS again. Thanks!
I did this deal twice in 2 different transactions. The cats printed both times. Also, they did print based off shelf prices.

I did the deal twice. I purchased the Oscar Mayer lunch meats and the MIO. My order was based on the Pre-Price Plus. I bought 3 lunch meats ($3.99 pre-price plus) and 4 Mio ($3.99). Total was $27.93. Then my price plus took off a total of $3 for the lunch meat and $3.99 for the free Mio. My total went down to $20.94 before my coupons. I used 2 of the $1.50 off Mio and 2 of the $1.00 printable for Mio. This brought my total down to $15.94 plus tax. I got back $10 for Kraft, $3 for Mio, and $2 for Oscar Mayer. The flyer says that the deal is limited to once per transaction, so you can do it again in a separate transaction.

Can I use a raincheck to do this deal? I have a raincheck for the 12 pack of Fig Newtons. Retail price 5.99, price with raincheck 2.99. Would this work? How/when do I give the cashier the raincheck so I get the cats? Help! Thanks!

The raincheck is from last week or the week before. I am assuming SR will have the items. My question is: how do I deal with the raincheck at the checkout to insure I meet the $20 level and get the cats? Has anyone had experience using a raincheck from a prior week to get current cats at checkout? Thanks!
When I used a rain check last week, I had to give her the rain check before she rang up my item and then she manually input the raincheck price. This could mess up your math if you were counting on the shelf or flyer price of your items.

No. You get back 2 $5 OYNO, one is for use 9/30-10/6 and one for 10/7-10/13.

I wasn’t able to locate the mix-ins in my store. Are they in a place I wouldn’t have looked?
